Aunty,

OMG you made me laugh my laptop to the floor! Why do men have this "superman" complex? They are always, bigger, stronger, smarter, and have better swimmers (in their own eyes) then the next man. I find this ridiculous and amusing! I mean can you imagine women walking around doing that? What would we say, I have bigger b@@bs then you, or my AF is better then yours? Men are amusing little creatures. I do love the hammock comment though. Oh and why is it that they look to us to help "pump" them up? I don't know about you ladies but I just laugh when I get the "right honey" or the "just ask my wife".

Thanks for the laugh!

Shantala, I think tea would be good. It's better for you and it also has caffine.

Shantala, don't mind at all sweetie! We just got married in July. Seems like forever ago, maybe because I don't remember that much!!!!!!! I actually traded soda and coffee for tea while I'm going through the process. I need the caffine to help curve migraines and the tea does wonders! I take one kind in the am that helps with energy, and then one at night that relaxes me. Hope that it works for your DH.

Good for you Aunty...It's funny you mention the screen...After I started catching on, I would move the screen so it's facing me more before the tech came in the room. They usually didn't catch on...I'm lucky that the NP does the scans, so I can be as b*tchy as I want and it won't come back to haunt me in the OR for EC. Any other tips you can give? I'm still a rooky, so any other tips would be awesome!

Christine...talk about weird...I just opened a myspace account yesterday! Have been hearing about myspace for over a year, and just steered clear...A little afraid after all the bad news I've heard about the sexual preditors and such. I haven't posted a darn thing on it yet, but will get my butt moving one of these days to update my account. Have to find my "thin" pictures before I post it...That's gonna be slim pickins', but maybe I can dig one out from 10 years ago...Oh heck! I was fat then too...LOL...I have to agree with Shantala...You're beautiful. What a special day, too! That just made me realize my anniversary is in 9 days! I didn't forget it by an means, but December has snuck up on me so quickly!! It will be our third...He's such a hoot. We are best friends and are able to laugh at one another (and ourselves) often...If I can get him out of that serious, adult state of mind. He gets so serious sometimes, that he forgets to laugh at life. This IF situation doesn't make it much easier, especially when the money subject starts to rear its ugly head, but I try to help him remember that debt is unfortunately a part of life, and it's only temporary. He pretty easy to please though. Give him a good meal and bd frequently (lol) and he's putty in my hands. You take care lovely ladies...Speaking of giving him a good meal, I better start working on getting dinner prepared. Played hooky today, so have the chance to have dinner waiting for him, instead of the other way around, so am going to take advantage of it. Maybe I'll get a back rub out of the deal. Not likely, but a girl can dream can't she?! Later Gators!!

Hello lovely ladies….,

Susan n Angie, Congratulation. You are on 2WW. I can see BFPs coming next 14 days. Yipee…

mommyinwaiting welcome. so sorry about miscariege. good luck on next cycle. you will have so much support here.

Bec, gingerbread sounded delicious. Oopss…All I think this day only food. May be I will try weightlifting. How many do you do per week?

Charity, did we go to same DR? :D :D My Dr also said like yours. He didn’t believe accu n also didn’t believe vitamin. I felt hopeless when telling him that I did accu n yoga before stim. I thought I would hear him say something nice that I did a good job to improve my chance. OMG. I’ve been thinking a lot about accu. I did accu on last cycle, but at the day I must go, I felt stress. I am so afraid to needle. Especially the needle they put on leg. It was hurt badly. For some people accu reduce stress, for me add my stress. Anyway, I think I might want to try acupressure. Showed on TV, they said it worked like accu. Only no needles. They pressed some point on body. I want to see between Accu n Accupres which one less hurt. Hope one of them can soften my egg cells. Good luck on accu. A lot of people got good impact. Sure you will get too… Also good luck on washing machine. DH bought me a month ago. Never had before. He bought me after my BFN. May be he thought the machine can wash my pain.

Debz, I thought you were kidding when said no body wanted you for job. OMG. I wish I could fly you to decorate my home sweetie. Sure you are a good painter. For Accu, what a price!!! Better not ask how much they charge you for IVF. Anyway, are you still going to same clinic? Im still mad to your clinic.

Christine, I also hate needles. Is this your 1st one? I kept canceling my 1st IVF since Feb 06 cause needles. Thanks, I met Debz n Jackie on September Thread. They kept their eyes on me so I couldn’t cancel again. Guess what, Im so proud to say I was doing great job on injection. Im so excited to start injection again. Don’t worry. Im sure you will do great job. The needles are not as scary as we thought.

SS, how are you? I hope you are okay sweetie...

As for me, I want to know more about Gatorade n V8 juice. Can I drink them everyday during stim? Or I only can drink them when I feel weak or headache? When should we stop them? About V8 juice, isn’t it too sour? I had once non sugar V8, it was very sour. Nurse told me sour not good. I didn’t buy with sugar, cause I was afraid adding more fat. On the day ET, I had something I believe a mild OHSS. Migraine, cramp, very bad nausea. It lasted 3 days. So during that time, I drank Gatorade a lot. It helped. Only, I read Debz mentioned here it was not good after ET. I didn’t have so much Gatorade while stim only 4 glasses for 14 days. I think if I had them everyday, I didn’t have mild OHSS after transfer. What do you think? Anybody had these symptoms? What did you do?
Sorry, Im thinking a lot about my 2WW lately. I feel I want to review so that I can be better and have more info on next 2WW. Anyway thank you very much for your sharing about Crinone, Ive already written them on my note.

Thank you ladies. Sticky babby dust to all of you. GBU

Jemma...I've heard of the acupressure, too...Supposed to be really good at getting the "toxins" out of the body. Not sure if there's been many studies, but again, if it reduces stress, it can't be bad. I was told to drink Gatorade and water after the EC by the clinic. They said it would help reduce the risk of developing OHSS. I did and do drink only Gatorade, Soy Milk, one cup of tea each morning (switched to non-caffeine during IVF treatment, though), and Evian. That's it...I was starting to feel sort of sick/fluish after my EC, drank some Gatorade and did start to feel better. Not sure if that answers your question on whether it's okay or not, but that's what my clinic recommended.

I just looked at what I typed, and realized I sound like such a yuppie! I hate yuppies! They're so yuppieish, if that's a word...LOL...Soy and Evian! Urgh! Oh Sh*t! I just bought an SUV & have started shopping at Land's End, too!! It's happened...What I worked so hard to avoid...I've become one of THEM!! Oh wait...I just swore, so I can't possibly be one of them...Shew!! That was a close one...I've obviously had too much time on my hands today. No more hooky for me. I just looked up the correct spelling of hookey, hookie, or hooky...Yet more evidence that I've got too much time on my hands...

GOOD LUCK CAROLYN!! I'll be thinking of you ALL day tomorrow...

And Welcome MommyInWaiting...Love your signon, Dear...You found such a great place. The only regret I have in finding these ladies is finding them so late. Oh...and for getting a little hooked on the postings. I'm a forum junkie of sorts. There's no withdrawls from this one, though, so no worries... :) Welcome again...

Take care ladies...Later Gators!!
