Firstly Jill and Wannababy- I am soooo thrilled for you both - it is wonderful news - now the 2ww is over you only have the next 9 months to stress about pregnancy!!!

2wwers (Meg, Skidoo etc) - hang in there girls...

Cheeky - dont give up! It sounds positive, they are growing, okay your follies will not win a race but slow and steady can be very good.

Quiana- so sorry- it is unfair and totally devastating. Thoughts are with you both. Have you thought about trying again?

Sassyinlv - you made me smile with your anxiety - totally understandable that all the medical training jumps out the window when it is your own body and you are so wrapped up in it all (DH is MD and exactly the same). Good news though I know you are itching to get those stim meds into you.

Thanks everyone for the support and well wishes, it makes a lot of difference and has cheered me up immensly. I go in for my final beta tomorrow but it is pretty much a done deal that it was only chemical pregnancy.

Yesterday was a total right off I was so upset - felt as though my whole world had collapsed. I was surprised I wasn't better prepared, as I didnt think I had my hopes up but I was floored and utterly hysterical. By this afternoon the sobbing began to ease and I have begun to feel a little better - I just want to stop the meds- get AF and start my FET.

It never rains but it pours- as yesterday afternoon my mother called to tell me that my 10yr old niece (who has been battling a brain tumor for 5 years) is very sick and only has a couple of weeks to live. We have been expecting it and I will have to go home to New Zealand next week - I dont feel very strong at the moment - but life has a way of reordering your priorities.

Thanks for all of the congrats!

I am still a little guarded because it is so early. I just hope the numbers continue to go up!

Vicky-They put 3 embies in...they said it could just be one, but there was a possibility of multiples. They told me they want the number to be at least 40, and mine was 2500 so it was a good strong number.

Is your appt tomorrow or next Tuesday?

Congrats wannababy and Jill!! This is really good news. Our BFPs now excede our BFNs!

Quiana, I'm so sorry. I know it's hard. Stay strong and do something really special for yourself. Next time will be the one for you, I'm sure. ((hugs))

Sarah, You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good luck with your beta tomorrow anyway, miracles can happen.
I really hope things turn around for the best for your niece. But it now is in Gods hands, I guess. I can tell that deep down, you are very strong. I know you will be fine. Take care of yourself. (((hugs)))

sassynlv, 21 antrals, excellent! You should get a good number of eggs this time. I have 5 more antrals than last cycle. It's a great start for us both. When is your estimated ER date? Weird thing today, I got a call from Jen in billing. She was calling to tell me what fee I'm paying. When I was there for my baseline they didn't get my payment because the girl in front wasn't sure what to charge me. Anyway, Jen mentioned that I'm paying for the "study cycle". Hmmm, I wonder what the study is? I didn't know it was a study. It doesn't bother me, I'm just curious about what it is. My meds are pretty much the same. Only difference is a higher dose of Menopur and I'm doing both meds together in the PM. Could it be some kind of FET study? Hmmm, interesting. As for stress, I really need to call my acupuncturist asap.

Well my stimming is going fine. I'm feeling really drowsy during the day, just like my first cycle. I guess that's a sign that the meds are doing something to me. I'm trying to eat lot's of protien. Hoping it helps make lot's of good quality eggs. Hard to stay away from the sweets though. I read that sugar is very bad. Oh well, maybe tomorrow I'll do better.

Hi All,

jsm7502 - Wow - CONGRATULATIONS on your wonderful BFP!! I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!! Thank you so much for your kind words, you have really given me some hope that this could still work!! Thank You!!

Wannababy1229 - CONGRATULATIONS to you too on your BFP!! I hope that you have a wonderful pregnancy and enjoy the next 8 months!!

Angellica - I knew that you were going to shout at me again!!! I just wish that I could stay positive but I find it so hard!! I am feeling a bit better about things today, I am also quite uncomfortable and so I am hoping that some of these follies are growing!! I bet you are thrilled about moving, you have got a whole new life about to start in everyway!!!

Vicky77 - Your follie dancer guy is great, I am hoping he has done the job, I will find out tomorrow at my scan!! Congratulations on your third beta, the numbers look great!!!

Mia - Thanks again for you follie dance, hoping it worked when I go tomorrow!!! How are you feeling on your stimms? I still can't believe you are already on stimms, it is just great for you!!!

KF'06 - I am so sorry that you have not been well, I hope that you are soon feeling better, you got a good beta so that must make things seem a little better when you are not well!!!

Meg12 - Sending you lots of wishes and sticky baby dust for a BFP!!

Nictor - Thank you for your reassurace regarding my long stimming process, I just hope that these follies have grown for tomorrow!! I am wishing you lots of luck for your BFP and sending you lot's of baby dust, I hope that your next few days wait goes quickly for you!!

Elliecat - You made me laugh saying that you had the forgetfullness before the meds!! I hope that all is going well with your BFP, I might have read it but have forgotten!! when is your first scan?

Jovigal - I am so glad that there is a name for this forgetfullness, it makes me feel a little bit more normal, not much but a little!!!! LOL

Suzhan - I know that you said that I am allowed to be a little absent minded, well I could cope with a little absent minded but I have completly gone off my rocker!!!! Oh well, it will be worth it all!! Hopefully!!

Fed7281 - I know that my forgetfullness is probably down to being pre-occupied, but I like to blame it on the meds!! then I don't have to take any blame!! HaHa

Sassynlv - I am soooo glad that you are still able to start this cycle, This IVF is the worst rollercoaster I have ever been on!! I know what you mean about de-stressing!! You sound like me, I always read the bad things into things before I look at the good things!!! I am looking at going for accupuncture, loads of people have said that this is helpful, I think that I have left it too late this cycle but if I were to need another cycle I think I will deffinatley try it!! (see there I go with the negatives again!!! Angellica will kill me!!!!)

SarahV - I hope that you are right about going slow and steady could be good and if you are right I should be on track for a fantastic cycle! LOL
I am so sorry to hear that you are having a bad time at the moment and I have got my fingers crossed for you that you get some good news tomorrow!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you, your niece and your family!!

Skidoo - Hope you are doing well with you 2ww, I am sending lots of sticky baby dust your way for a BFP!!!!

Sorry to anyone I have missed, but my thoughts are with you all and I hope that our wonderful BFP list keeps on growing and shrinking that BFN list!!!

Take Care

Sorry-I'm on vacation this week and it took me a while to catch up on all the posts- everyone is in high gear! I had first US & BW on Mon, we had 6 on the R & 3 on the L. :?: Has anyone experienced ovulation discharge(sorryTMI) prior to ER? I'm getting nervous i'm going to ovulate before they get the egss? :?: Any thoughts???? I go back Wed, hopefully ER on Fri.

Cinder101-I have been in NJ for 18 years (Parsippany) I was raised in Washingto State (Yakima Valley) Guess we traded coasts, my family still lives there, I visit 2 yearly. I down regged for 5 weeks-all hell, the last 2 were livable, but I had cramping and bleeding from cysts. How goes the 2WW??
Vicky- Great numbers!!!!Can you believe it yet??
Welcome Lisa66- I do not handle bad news well either, hopefully it's only good news here in.
Mia- I get nervous when my DR doesn't tell me things, I would freak if the first time I heard I was on a study was from the billing dept. My DR has some communication issues though, he talks to us like we've been through IVF before and already know what's going to happen. I't so nice that you were able to start right away again. Great job on the list, looks awsome!
Wannababy- Congrats!! I'm so thrilled for you! when's your fisrt scan? Have you picked a new DR, did they give you a list?
Jill- YEAH! keep those BFP coming, it's so promising to see it!
Angellica & KF'06- Twins or Quads?????
Sassynlv- I use yoga and meditation to relax and destress- I poo pooed it a first but it really works! I do just a couple fertility poses each morning and feel so centered.
Meg12-Testing today???Let us know!
gbnut- nice to see you back, I was keeping up on you on the Dec thread. hope your 2WW goes quickly!
Cheekymonkey- I will be stiming for 16 days if they do the ER on Saturday, like they plan. my follies aren't growing as fast as I would like either, we have to stay positive and keep the faith!
Nictor-stay positive, PMA< PMA<PMA!! easier said then done!
SarahV-I'm so sorry about all your sucky news, your right though a trip home helps you put things in perspective, although your trip is not for a good reason, it'll help you get through this time.
quiana-so sorry, doesn't cover it, start looking to the next time and how it will work!

I'm sorry if I missed anyone, I'm off to get a new hairdo, I've been cutting my own hair(poorly) for over a year, hopefully this will help my mood, feeling a little sour. Hopefully by the time I get back Megs numbers will be in!

Hi ladies...

so happy about all the BFP!!!!

Susan---I have lost weight too! All Especially during my 2ww, and I ate normal. Not sure why? Everyone at work is worried aboutme, my clothes just hang. I think the meds can do that to you.

My RE called last night, all numbers look good for my 2nd test, they scheduled my 1st scan for Friday!!!

Thinking of you all.....sprinkles of baby dust to all!

Susan

Yep, DH is going...he is more excited than I am (not really...but he can;t wait)! I feel bad, he is not normally the stressed type, but this whole process has him on edge!!! I am glad he will be there.

I figured I would not see a heartbeat since I am having the first scan so early...I will only be 5w1d. I am not sure if that isnormal to have it so early? Anyone else?

Noodle: I had a little CM before my retrieval too and was fine..goe 18 eggs. Call your dr. thought if you are nervous to be on the safe side.

Susan and M'BA: I'm jealous that you guys lost weight!!!! I had to squeeze into my jeans this AM and def. have not lost weight during my 2ww.

I test on Monday and am not panicked yet. I think work is keeping me busy. I am a cow though I must say. I am so bloated today I look 5 months preg. For those with BFP's, how many days after transfer would you say you had a really bloated belly??

Cinders when i did my ivf in july/aug it took a long time for my bloating to stop as i had huge ovaries and lots of water retention. This time with FET i still have a bloated tummy so definately not losing the weight from there!!!!!!

But you will get a bfp so you are going to continue to grow!!!!!!!!

A great big congratulations to Wannababy and JIll i am so happy for you both. :D
For everyone stimming i am praying your follies grow and you get good eggs.
KF great numbers i am pleased you are feeling better and able to start enjoying your pregnancy.
Angellica good idea to escape the move are you going to go any where nice? I have my scan on Thursday and am still finding it hard to get excited, i only had 1 beta and this week has been so longgggg. Every so often i feel a bit sick and have twinges in my stomach. My stomach is getting smaller now that my ovaries are getting over stimming and i feel less bloated.
