How much more cruel will it get?

Post by souris »

Dear all,

some of you may have seen my post asking question about D&C. I had very sore breast and did not know why. I guess I got my answer this morning: I felt much better when I woke up, my b@@bs a lot less "full". Well, the reason is because I have milk! Yes, milk after 3 months of pregnancy and a D&C 5 days ago!! I was finally starting to get slowly over the whole thing, but how can I do that now?? Why is life so cruel?

Sorry for this post, I dont expect any answer but I just needed to speak to someone, Dh is away until tomorrow...
And what I am suppose to do with my milk? I dont have loads of course, but am I suppose to leave it, squeeze it out??

please help

I cant imagine what you are going thru right now Souris. Dont ever be sorry to post any message here, we are here to try and help and to support you any way we can.

Im not sure if it would help to squeeze the milk out. I think u can get tablets from the doctor to dry it up, or they will leave you to let it dry up naturally. Im really sorry i dont suppose this helps you one bit, i wish i was there to give u a great big hug. Im so sorry you are going thru this.

If u wanna talk. rant, rave, cry or laff - we are all here for you hun.

I am sending you loads of hugs. I hope your D?H gets home soon to help you. I would agree with Becky and would not squeeze it out. I would phone your DR.

Take care

Becky, Susan,

thank you for your answers. I called the hospital, and they said that it happens sometimes to women who were more than 14 weeks pregnant when they miscarried. They also said it wont last long, to squeeze the b@@bs if they are too full and painful, but to try to avoid it doesnt stimulate the milk production. I just wished my doc told me what could happen after a D&C so that I would have been prepared!

Thanks again girls

When i lost my son just after he was born i was full of milk, i got told by the Dr not to squeeze them infact to try not to touch them at all, as it will stimulate production, they recomended, a hot bath and lay a cold damp towel over them. it will easy the hardness and cool them down, as i found mine would burn up.

I was shotting all over the place when i didn't have a bra on.....

I hope it clears up for you soon, the last thing you need is another reminer of what you have lost...

Take care sweetie
