Hi Girls - hope all ok and had good weekend.

Need to read up on this IVF lark. Thought Buserlin was the stimms

. Thought normally only downregged for a week-10 days. I will be doing it for 28-30!!! In for a tired and moody xmas! How long do you stim for...2 weeks?

I am soooo hungry!!!!! Being really healthy and having as much fruit and veg as i can fit in and avoiding obviously naughty food but all I want to do is eat

. Decided to drive at all my xmas do's so no drink for me! Can't wait tho. Roll on next Thursday!

Hey Julie!! I will also have to read up on the IVF more!!!

We are going for IVF in 2007, so Jen add me to the list honey ( I know I could do it but you make it look so much more better!!!)

This is a quick post, sorry but want to let you guys knows, that the ball is rolling.....

we have serveral options, and the final decission isn't made yet, we will do ivf, but exactly what we dont know yet??

The choice is standard ivf, ivf egg share, or ivf with blastocyst transfer. (they have said sussess is 50% with blastocyst)

I need info on Blastocycst transfers!!

The above will be funded by us, we are also on the nhs approval list, and this looks to happen jan-May 2007, if we do nhs we cant have option of blastocycst or egg share, it will just be standard!

Obviosuly we aint made of money so we are hoping the nhs will help us, in which case egg share/blasocyst wont happen!!

Right now I dont know whats happen or when, but if we were paying we could start ivf on next AF which would be down reg starting 1st week of Jan.....

So the earliest will be Jan, the latest May......Watch this space!!!

Well I had another BFN

Have been feeling really upset since AF arrived on Sunday. 5 BFN's since July are taking their toll

Have been doing some research onthe ivf side . Will update all later.

Souris- adam and i have been engaged for nearly 4 years but have only just ( 4mths ago) decided to plan the weeding for next year...Was so hoping i would have a baby as a bridesmaid/page boy but that aint to be at the moment in time ...at least we have each other !!!

Mum dad and their black labrador left today. Both dogs got on well and we will meet up with them all in 2 wks for a long weekend away.

Lis - Sending bug hugs and luv to you - I am sorry things are so hard. Life is such a bummer. I think the December break will do you good and help recharge the batteries. Let me know outcome of research on the IVF stuff. take care of selves x

Jen - Hope you are ok. Have you got the wedding outfit sorted?? Glad the dogs got on well and you have a break to look forward to with your parents. x

I have a "pre op" appointment on Monday at 1pm then my injection at 9am Thursday next week. Yikes!!

Sorry I haven't been on ere for a while, haven't been so well, I've had a kidney infection (stones) I am sick of them, they make me feel terrible, feeling much better now though.

Julie - Great news on starting tmt, I too was on buserlin, didn't know they could keep you on it so long though, are you taking anything else with it to stimulate your overaries like Menopor? Or do you start that late Dec? Yes you usually stay on Stims for approx 12 days. I was on Menopor. Anyway as for the drinking, its up to you but personally I wouldn't drink while on the drugs, although a lot of women out there get pregnant while taking worse things than a bit of alcohol... You take Care hun. I am very excited for you..

Jen - I am so happy to hear that you and Adam had a talk and have sorted issues out. I hope you find a doctor who you can have a very relationship with like you did with your last doctor, although they are very hard to find..! What is this AMH, I am very interested in it as I am in a similar situation to you as you know, they just use FSH with me, maybe I'll ask my consultant if they can use that with me! I'm sorry your level was low and very sorry to hear of the 3% chance of a having a baby, but if you watch "a child against all odds" on Tuesday a lady on there was given the same % and she had a little girl, so it can be done. I too don't get many eggs and my consultant has already spoken to me about EGG Donor but I'd like to have one more cycle then I will go for Egg Donor if the next one fails. I read you and Adam have decided to go for ED, and will go abroad, can I ask why so many people go abroad, is it just due to UK waiting lists.? Anyway darling I am glad you are happy with the decision you have made, maybe we'll go through ED together aswell..! Take Care darling..

Lisa - I am so so so sorry about the BFN, you have been through so much, I agree with Jen you must be emotionally drained, I feel for you so much, I know how hard it is to get a BFN but to get them so close together like you are, you are very strong Lisa. You will have to let us know what you think about IVF. You take care hun, and once again I'm so sorry for you and DH.

Nicki - I am so so sorry to hear your news, I though this was it for you and Mark, sorry hun. I think you are doing the right thing in going for IVF before you think of other options you have to try that first. This will be my 5th cycle of IVF and if it doesn't work I'll be going for Egg Donor next time. When do you think you'll be starting IVF.?

Souris - I cried when I read you post, I couldn't believe what I was reading, I am so sorry. I know how you feel it is very very hard when you miscarry especially when you've had a scan and see everything is OK just for someone to take it away like that, life is very cruel. Time is a healer though, it may not feel like it now but it is, It took me a very long time to get over my miscarriage, Not a day goes by that I don't think of my baby and what might have been but I feel better than I did last year. Take your time to grieve Souris. You will decide when to do another cycle when the time feels right for you.

Smita - Great to hear from you, hope you are OK?

I got my consultation letter through this morning, my appt is on 24th jan, I am wanting to start tmt in Feb but because my appt isn't until Jan I think they'll make me wait until march.. We’ll see.
My dad still hasn't go in touch with me, have been very upset about it all, as we have always been very very close since he met his wife 3 years ago, since then we don't seem as close. He went to visit my sister yesterday and she said he didn't even mention me, I just can't believe it, all over me getting upset about getting a NEG. Funny huh?????

Better go as I'm at work. Going to do some xmas shopping tonight, thought I'd better get some done or I'll be doing it on xmas eve..

Julie enjoy Mamma mia...it will be such a fun night. You sound on a real high, and must be so excited to start drugs next thursday...we will be egging( ha ha!!!) you on over christmas to start follies and egg retrieval in jan...woo-hoo so exciting...

Lucy- Egg donor (ED) abroad for us . As if i was on the waiting list here ( 3 years ) i would be 42 and don't wanna wait that long...also just a cheap to go abroad and more egg donors. i quite understand you wanting to give your own eggs another go. You ( even with high fsh) are yound and do have some time. remember you can go into menopause and still use Egg Donor and get pregnant! But i am sure even though you have high fsh you still mananged to get more eggs than me so fingers crossed the same happens. It only takes 1 egg and sperm ...It's just for me the stimmy drugs really effect my MS...I jsut haven't the energy to go through all the stimmy drugs and have a chance they may be no eggs. Too much time and health to loose for the sake of my on genetics in a child. at least i won't be passing on MS to my kid!! I am so sure this will be our reality of having a child...i am positive it will work having ED! x x fingers crossed for us all. About your Dad, i know it's hard but why look for his approval when he is in-capable of supporting you through such a difficult time. You deserve better Lucy, especially from your Dad. hugs to ya honey... p.s. about the AMH i don't know anymore about it...but ask your clinic on the 24th jan

Julie i did have a good time at Adam's work party...they are a good lot and i felt really included. Am totally exausted today ( and i was driving last night so not much drink was drunk!!!) So have slept most of the afternoon...just finished wrapping some x-masd pressies but need to write christmas cards..Yeuk i hate that bit!!!!

HI ALL

Hope ok and weekend was good.

Just got back from "pre op" consultation....They are backing us up over Xmas so could be on Buserlin a bit longer than I thought into new year but on the hopeful side if AF comes on 18th Dec as it should then I could stim as early as 27 Dec if they have the room!

JEN - The beauty of starting a new place and 90% typing is that no one knows my handwriting yet....My sis came round so I roped her into writing all my work cards...hee hee.
