I can’t believe it! One of us gets a positive to give us hope and inspiration and then its taken away???? Oh Jill I am praying for your peace of mind and health. I don’t feel like writing any more today. I will be back once I let the frustration out.

Hi all, just wanted to quickly post that I just heard back from the doctor after having blood work last week and they say the pregnancy is resolving itself so fortunately no d&c is necessary. I will really be glad once it is completely resolved so that I may begin to move on. I can honestly say this is the hardest thing I have ever gone through but to find that silver lining in every dark cloud, I think this had made my dh and I even closer! We are not ready to throw in the towel and give up just yet. We are planning on trying agian in the spring after our hearts have had some time to heal. I pray that you are all doing well and know that I think of you often and that you have all been a great source of support and I can not thank you enough!!!
Jill

Hi all,

Jill - firstly glad you are pulling through. The failed IVF somehow got me and my DH closer together too.

News on me - my laproscopy for today 22nd december got cancelled as my AF that was due on 5th december, never happened. I have not had an AF since 5th November, just after I got my BFN. Is this norml after IVF that the next AF is so long? maybe after all the hormones and the egg collection? Maybe your ovaries have to recover? I am also feeling down in the dumps - just returned from holiday to New Zealand (which was fantastic ) - but returned to Berlin to find my suitcase had not followed me home - it is lost!!! All my souvenirs gone - I have to buy an entire new wardrobe of clothes (insurance is minimal ). I was hoping to come back happy and refreshed especially after all the hassles with the failed IVF and now this.. totally f*d off - excuse my language. The airline has NO trace of my suitcase whatsoever - it is now almost 2 days since we returned.

My laproscopy will now be in January - please let me know if it is normal to have such a late AF after IVF. Basically after my BFN I had a proper IVF on 5th November. Since the post IVF AF - I have had nothing since 5th Nov??

Bubble and everyone else who has chatted on this thread hope all is okay - have a great christmas and a fab new year. We all deserve a good 2007!!

Love Bekki xxxx

Hi there - I am doing better now.

Suitcase showed up after 4 days!!!

I still have had no AF sine 5th November .. so no AF for about 55 days.. (infact next thursday will be two months with no AF ) Are any of you guys who did IVF at the same time as me having this problem? or have your AFs been pretty much regular after IVF? My first AF after IVF on 5th November was normal but I am waiting almost two months for my second AF!!!??? I also have nausea.... just wondered if you all have experienced this..
Of course I am not even going to think I could be pregnant or buy a pregnancy test, as it cannot be that I am pregnant straight after a failed IVF cycle. My boobs are feeling bigger - so maybe AF will show in the next week?

Looking forward to hearing from you guys about your AF experiences since IVF.

Bekki
