Cinders101 - I bet it is better having something to take your mind off things through the day, just make sure you don't stress and take it easy!!
I am hoping that your signs are good and that you are going to get your BFP real soon!!!!!!
They increased my meds on friday but that is all, they doubled them on friday from 75mg to 150mg and I am still on 150mg till my scan on friday!!!!
They did not say exactly how many follies I have, but there must be at least 20 in each ovary!!!!! I do not think this is a good thing but am trying to stay positive!!!
Sending lots of baby dust your way for that BFP!!!!!!!!

Cindy - going back to work has been good for me too, I can't sit on these boards all day and obsess (kidding, well, sortaImage) My bb's have gotten big and veiny too (also, bumpy on the areola itself - again sorry if tmi) - but I'm not sure if it's the progesterone shots or a good sign???? I absolutely remember getting it with my bfp, but not this early???? And, I don't remember exactly what happened when I didn't get bfp (but I think I may have gotten some of the same things.....) DH says to quit trying to compare anything and just focus on one day at a time.

We went to the Lakers' game last night and even though they lost, it was a GREAT distraction!

Cheeky - not too late for acupuncture, so if you can do it, go for it! It's great pre/post transfer, especially! At least they're keeping you moving ahead and maybe the higher fsh dose will help move those guys along!! Grow, follies, grow!~Image

Meg - I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble fitting my bra's! Let us know when your next beta is - I'm praying you get a very strong second! Good luck!

KF - Glad you're starting to feel better. I agree with Vicky that since you got right on the temperature, you should be fine. Can you talk with your doctor about it?

Well, off to work, take care everyone, have a great day!

Suzhan - your follie growing guy is sooooo cute!!!! I hope he works for me!!
Do you really think it is not to late to have accupuncture? Me and DH have been trying to work out what is best and we have read a few places that say you need to start it a couple of months before IVF for it to be effective, but then some places do say that it is good around ET!!! I AM SO CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!
I do want to do what is best but I just can't work out what that is!!!
Do you think if I have it just before and just after ET that might help or will it just be a waste of money? (presumung I get that far of course!)
Thanks for your advice!!!
Wishing you lots of luck for your BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello ladies! I hope you don't mind me posting. I usually post in First Time IVF with meg and lisa66. I just wanted to let you all know that I have been reading your posts and that you all are very encouraging. This is my first and only IVF. I didn't have any frosties and I had 1 excellent, 1 good, and 1 fair quality transferred. My first blood test is on Sat. I seem to be getting really weepy eyed these last two days. I think it is stress. Also, just wanted to let you know that I have been praying for you all and will continue to do so. Good luck!!

Seren anne welcome to this fantastic thread.thank you for the prayers at this time we all need as much as we can get. Good luck on Saturday these last few days i found to be the hardest and could not come sooner.
Cheekmonkey i can understand how frustrated you must be feeling. I will send you lots of PMA for those follies to go. Try and imagine them getting bigger bigger and how fantastic they will be.
KF 06 Glad to see you are feeling better, your numbers sound great if you are concerned about your temp i would definatly talk to doc to put your mind at rest.
Angellica hope your move has gone well and not to stressful.
I am really nervous about scan tomorrow and pray everything is ok. I am
obsessed about finding symptons and checking my boobs. DP always seems to arrive when i am giving them a squeeze or looking at them and tells me to put them away (Boy how thats changed, but probably for the best at the moment)lol.
Take care all

:D Hi Guys, Hope you are all keeping well.

Cheeky Monkey- Can't imagine how you are feeling but I know you are going to get there. I know that even having 2 extra days of stimming was stressful for me. I am thinking of you, and DD and I will do follie dance for you ( she is great at dancing!)

Cinders and Suzhan- I am with you on those changes in the BB's too! I did havethis with my last BFP but never noticed as had never been pregnant before! Hoping it is good news for us and not the meds!

Vicky, M'BA- good luck with he scans on fri.

Meg- hope you get good news tomorrow.

Everyone, else, thinking of you and take good care of yourselves,

I'm feeling quite positive today, but yesterday was bad! Only 5 more sleeps to go! Gotta keep going !

Good Afternoon- I had my scan today, 12 follies, only about 9 big enough, but they are going to do EC on Friday! trigger shot tonight at 1am! DH & i did the cornest thing and meditated together for 10 minutes while holding my belly and thinking positive thoughts! i'm just glad something worked.(for a change).

Cheekymonkey- i'm right there with you, they had me on 225mg follistim and menpour. i know how it feels when they won't grow, my left side still only has 3 follies and the largest is 12. keep the faith and PMA and we'll hopefully be testing together in Dec

Serena Anne- Welcome and congrats on making it and to the longest 2 weeks of your life???? Hope all goes well and the days fly!

CasyP- only 5 more days!!! Stay strong and positive!

Sorry for the short personals but i've been noodling all day and just realized ihave nothing for dinner, must run to the store! good vibes and good luck to us all!

Ellie-- Wishing you best of luck with your scan tomorrow!

Your story about your DH catching you checking your bbs cracked me up! I've been catching myself giving them a little squeeze while I'm at work (just making sure they're still tender---how stupid is that???) and would be mortified if anyone saw me. But I can't make myself stop!!!

This whole process has really turned me into a weird person :o

Well I am officially unpregnant. My beta dropped from 142, to 102 and yesterday logged at 29! I am off the meds and begin the patient wait for the nasty AF. I am going to take some time before I do FET as I dont feel very strong about my chances. I have only 2 blasts- the defrost success rate is 75% and the implantation rate drops from 70% to just 50%. After getting an implantation this cycle and then losing it - I dont like my odds of anything next cycle. DH thinks we should flag altogether.

To the girls with the symptoms in 2ww - they are all very positive symptoms especially breast changes. This forum couldn't be a more deserving community for more BFPs.

Cheeky - you go girl, I understand your frustration but yah they are growing, keep up the good work!!!

Noodle congrats and all the very best for the EC on Friday- it sounds very positive.

To the BFPS- good luck to you all with upcoming scans - I am sure that will make it much more real- your results are inspirational.

I am going to take some time out from IVF forums for a while (to be honest it is a little torturous) to get some perspective but promise to check in with you every now and then to check your progress.

Serena Anne, welcome to this forum, you will find great people here!!!!, good luck on Saturday, sending you lots of sticky baby dust!!!

Ellie, so funny your story about your DH catching you checking your boobs, LOL  , I guess we are all doing all sort of weird things lately, from going to the toilet every 10 mins to check no AF, to checking our boobs for tenderness, as Meg said, we are weird people, LOL!!!!

Noodle, congrats on your scan, you seem to have a pretty good amount of follies there!!, good luck with trigger shot tonight!!

Sarah, I am very sorry, you know we are all here for you when you decide to come back to us, I understand you not wanting to be reading this forums right now, it is difficult. I just want to wish you the best of luck on your next cycle or whatever you decide to do....

Casey P, only a couple of days to go, hang in there!!!!

Tomorrow I have my scan, I'll keep you posted, I am soo nervous!!!

BABY DUST TO EVERYBODY!!!!

Thanks everyone!
M'BA- seems a little wierd getting excited over a shot, but we are. DH is very nervous, the RE scared him pretty bad, telling him he could hit my ciadica (sp?) nerve or something worse.

SarahV- i'm so sorry, and absolutely you probably need a break, but never give up, someday some how you and your DH will be parents, you must believe it! when are you leaving for NZ?

Casy- we have to set an alarm there is no way we'll be able to stay up that late. we're usually out by 8pm, pathetic huh???

Vicky- Good Luck with the scan tomorrow! maybe two, maybe three??

still on vacation, shopped all day looking for a new winter coat and brown boots....both not found guess i'll try again tomorrow!
