Fever - 3rd week after fertilization. Any success stories?

I'm very concerned about the developement of the baby. I had fever 101.6 one night during 3rd week after fertilization. I managed to reduce it by drinking water but i'm not sure if it went up again or not when I was sleeping. Then 1 whole day my temp was 99.4-100.
I read online that it's when heart plate and neural tube are forming. I also read about how dangerous fever is at that time and possible birth defects. I hope somebody has some stories when fever around that time didn't effect the baby. I would really appreciated it because I'm worried now.

my cousin had the same thing she kept getting it too then eventually she came out in blotches big red ones we went to the Dr's and apparently she was having an allergic reaction to the baby...LOL... it didn't last too long well i can say that now i think it was around maybe 3rd month when she settled down..
it didn't cause any problems at all Chloe(the baby) is a wonderful intelligent little girl now the rest of her pregnancy was smooth

wishing you luck and hope it settles down for you have you been to your Dr i would even just to ease your mind

Aunty, thank you for your post. I'm definitely going to talk to the doctor about it. The nurse told me it happens and not to worry and take Tylenol if i get fever again. I want to hear it from the doctor though. I think my fever was due the cold because later I got chest congestion. I know I shouldn't read articles online because what I read is so scary but I can't help it....
