My, its taken me 2 nights to get through all the messages and now I've really lost the plot and can't remember what happened on page 46!!

Carolyn - I know you are disappointed with 6 eggs but it only takes one. I only had 6 altogether and I was really upset but one of them managed to turn into a BFP !! - as others have said its quality not quantity.

Wishing you loads of luck tomorrow with ET....thinking of you honey.

Sokru8 - way to go - good luck with the stimming...

I was pertified of needles when I started my first round but the thought of DH doing me was even more scary  I've watched him do DIY many a time and it just made me shudder!!

Angie/Susan - hows the 2ww going - hoping you are resting well...

BWHD - hope yr follow up went well

Rachel - my god your early with your tree and wrapping presents - I haven't even started to think yet....!! I've also requested you to be my friend on yr myspace.... What I want to know is, who is tom? I have him on myspace too..... is he someones DH??

anyway I've done my too - please don't expect much there is nothing apart from a photo!! http://www.myspace.com/nimble1968

I had accu for the first time on Monday and wow you just don't feel a thing...certainly not the needles but you can get the odd ache when you hit a blockage area. So now waiting to see if AF starts soon.....

I know I have missed so many of you and I'm so sorry!!

Erin - I am so happy for you that your appointment went well and you have the green light to go ahead. That is so cool. Guess that they have decided to do ICSI to help your chances. Cannot comment much as not had but think that they would suggest if there were not as many sperm as they might like or their motility is not fab. It can only help make sure that they fertilise for you. It is great when you have all the dates so that you can start counting down. A new ticker for you maybe????!!!

Mominwaiting - I am so sorry that you are having these issues. Totally agree that you do not want to waste valuable time. But also ivf is so stressful that you need all the help that you can get. So I guess that it is important for your partner to be on side with you to offer you help every step of the way. I know a couple of ladies on the April-May thread that I was on for ivf no.1 had partners who were not sure about children and they went for conselling to try to get straight. Really hope that the wobble passes

Bec - Hope that your scan and bloodwork goes well tomorrow.

Rachel, Becky & Nimble - Thanks for cheering me on. Checked out all your myspace entries. So helps to put a faces to the names. Rachel - I love Holby too and Moulin Rouge. Cannot believe that you have your tree up already and pressies wrapped. That is so blimin organised. Think that I'll set myself up on myspace during my 2ww to keep me occupied!

No call from clinic so presume that we at least have 1 ready to come home. Too cruel of the clinic to call you in just to say that you have none. I hope of course that we will have 2. Think that best quality I had last time was good so hope that maybe 1 might be excellent if they grade as such!!!

Quite tired so early night for me. Hope that I can sleep well. Bring it on!!!

Night night ladies. Will be in touch tomorrow when I get back.
Thanks for everything.
Love Carolyn xxxx

Good grief, it has taken me two days to catch up on all the posts. I was out of town all last weekend, so I was really behind.

Carolyn - Six is good. Just think - six is a bunch. It only takes one (or two for twins). That could add up to 3 sets of twins. :D Like it has already been said, quality not quantity. You are in my prayers for tomorrow.

Sonia - Yes, I watched In the Womb last Thursday. It was an awesome show. Multiples in the Womb will be on in January. Also, if DH doesn't like coffee, try flavored creamers - yummy!

Bec - So happy AF showed. Your off to a start.

Angie & Gbnut - Not much longer, hang in there it will be well worth it.

Dory - Testing this Friday, wow time has flown by. You will be in my prayers for a BFP this Friday.

To all those I haven't mentioned - best of luck and lots of sticky baby dust.

Hi girls, back from my follow up appointment at the clinic. Turns out I wont be able to start with the January cycle, because we are switching Insurance Co's to try and get another cycle covered. The clinic said that because Jan baselines start on Jan 3rd, they wont be able to get the cycle authorized that quickly, and we'll have to wait until the Feb one. UGH! I'm already 40!!! GOOD GRIEF! Like I have another month to wait. My biological clock is ticking away every minute. I can literally hear it. OK, well maybe not......but....They also said I have to lose 16 more lbs. I had to lose 10 for the first retrieval to reach the BMI necessary to go under anesthesia, and now they lowered the BMI requirement. UGH! They are so strict. They think the weight loss will help lower the right ovary, so she can get to it this time. (If you remember there were blood vessels in the way last time) Well, I will do whatever is necessary, so it's off to the gym for me tonight. Crash diet here I come... Not the greatest news, but could be much worse. Hey, is this going to bump me out of the Dec/Jan thread. :-(

Carolyn, I'm sorry to hear that they could only get to one side. I can totally understand how you feel. It felt like such a waste. I had so many follies in that other ovary. I just wanted to go in there an yank them out myself. 6 is really good, and I think you'll be fine. But.. I know how dissapointing it is to have so many and then lose them. Take care, and I'll be thinking of you for ET. Good Luck!

Erin: So glad to hear your news!! I always feel better once i have a scheduled plan! dh and i always have to do ICSI. It doesn't guarantee 100% ferts (in fact cycle #1 we only had 60%), but for those of us w/ serious MF issues, it is a godsend!

Carolyn: Wishing you all the best for tomorrow!! So glad the center didn't ring today for you. Looking forward to hearing how it goes....

Bec: glad to hear you are set for tomorrow. Good luck on US/BW and stims!

Mominwaiting: are you saying dh is not ready to start? I think i had a brain fart and wasn't sure what you meant. If that's the case, i am sooooo sorry. I know you were very excited to get started. Wish i could say something to help. Maybe he just needs a month or two???

In the interest of honesty (or really, venting) all you buggers w/insurance coverage, I am ENVIOUS!!! That's it, I've said it. Feeling much better, thanks  .

Hello ladies, just a quickie as yet again I should be doing some work and I'm too busy scanning this board!

Carolyn - loads of luck with ET - glad you back with PMA - will be waiting for your post.

Bec - GL with stimming - you're on your way now. :D Loved Nimble's comment about DH and DIY - I 'm with you on that one! - wouldn't let him near me with a needle - as if he hurt me I would blame him, all his fault etc poor love! Best to inflict the pain myself - but it's not really pain just a tickle  !

Susan - enjoy Edinburgh - hope it's really relaxing - no symptons here either - no sore bbs! nuffing, nada, zilch!

Erin-great you have plan now - you have a come along way since the op in no time at all!

Love to everyone else. Best try and keep busy and keep my mind of things but it 's so hard. Just got an email from my friend in England with cute photos of baby No.2 - ah it's hard for us isn't it? But I'm doing OK with the PMA thanks to you all. :D
