Nicola: Don't give up hope. When is your pregnancy test?? A lot of people feel like they are getting their period when their pregnant....that is one of the symptoms. Often, the hpt's don't pick up a bfp.

Rachel: I'm so sorry for you. You have been though a lot..more than I could have withstood. Good luck with your adoption..that will be a lucky child! You will love that child as if he/she were your own. Best of luck to you and check back to let us know how you are doing!

Suzhan: How are you doing? Are you going to retest this weekend??

Rachel,
I am so sorry about your BFN. ((hugs)) I'm glad to know that you and DH will be doing fun things for the next year. I think adoption is a wonderful option and I know there is definately a precious little gift just for you somewhere out there. Best of luck to you and DH.

Nichola,
don't give up, it's not over yet. I'll have my fingers crossed for you!

Suzhan,
ignore the evil HPT! You have plenty of time for HCG to show up in your BT on Monday. I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Noodle, how did EC go? Thinking of you. When is ET?

Cheeky,
good luck with your scan! I hope the ol' follies have a growth spurt. Here's a follie dance to help them along. Image

Good morning ladies, 5 eggs retrieved. i'm tring to stay positive, i'm still in quite a bit of pain. Normal????? DR will call today and let us know how many fertilized and hopefully why 12 follies only turned 5 eggs, I thought at least 6-8? DR will also let us know if ET will be Mon or WED, I forsee Mon, but who knows....

Cinders-sounds like good news to me.
CasyP- stay strong, Mon is right around the corner.
Cheekymonkey- i was thinking about you all day yesterday, hopefully they will harvest what you have at least. i have to wee every 1/2 glass of water, the only exercise i get is going to toli.
Nictor & Suzhan-must stay positive, wait for BW, HPT's only show certain HCG numbers.
Dory-so sorry, i would love to adopt one day, DH isn't to keen on idea, but i think after he sees what these procedures do to me he might change his tune. keep the faith, one day you will be a great mommy!

Good thoughts to everyone, post is moving so fast cannot keep up in current mood. will post when I know number's and date.

Hi everyone,

Just got back from my scan and my follies have had a spurt over night!!! The biggest is 17 with the rest between 13 & 16, this means that I will be having my booster on sunday night and having EC on Tuesday!!!
I tell you it can't come quick enough I have now been stimming for 17 days and boy can I feel it!!!
The doctor today said that it is still looking like it will be a "Freeze All" with FET next year but don't know for deffinate till Tuesday!
I have got to say that I truely believed that I would not get this far so at the moment I am quite happy with how things are going!!

Angellica - What can I say? you were right, I am now being more positive you will be glad to hear, and I want to thank you for all your kind and much needed words of advice, This journey would have been more difficult without you! so thank you!!!

Noodle - I think 5 eggs sounds great, I hope that you are able to get them back soon so I can hear about your BFP!!! Remember it only takes one!!!!! Take care and keep us posted!! Wish I was still cycling with you but don't think that will be the case!! I will be thinking of you on Mon/Wed!

Mia - I think your follie dance must have done the trick cause they did have a growth spurt!!! you can stop now though! I don't want to explode! LOL

To everyone else, I send you lots of well wishes and hope that you are all doing well! I will come back and do some more personals later!!

Take Care

Noodle: Congrats on your ER!! I was in a lot of pain after ER for 3 days...very bad pain. I think it is normal. Some people don't have any pain and some have lots. Good luck next week!!

Cheekymonkey: Congrats!!!!!! Yeah, I'm sooooo excited for you. 17 days is a long time, but I'm so glad they grew!! That's so exciting!!

Good luck to everyone testing soon. I went in for my 1st beta today with the 2nd being Monday. I took a preg test yesterday and today and both were positive! I'm still in disbelief thinking maybe still HCG shot in my system (it's been 14 days though) and praying my numbers look good on Monday.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Thanks to everyone for the supportive comments. I took my first beta today and will have the second Monday - we're praying things look good. I'm going to take another hpt today and probably also Sunday...I'm at work on Monday, so want to be prepared.

Cindy - a second positive hpt is great news! I think you should be filled with loads of confidence for Monday - congrat's! The clinic was swamped this morning! I had to wait almost 40 mins to get in for my blood test - they were overwhelmed! I think it's because their computers have been down for a few days - I can't imagine how they're doing the ladies in cycle without the computers since all the medical records are there too!

Nicola - you and I are hanging in together! Let's try to keep the pma a little big longer. Who knows, maybe we'll both get a miracle or two.

Noodle - sent you a pm regarding ER - I had a similar experience -- 11 follies, 3 egg's. After researching, I found there were a few possible reasons. I'm hoping your 5 are wonderfully strong, healthy ones that will make some good embies to come home to you soon!

Mia - So glad to hear from you and fantastic news on your strong stimming! ER's right around the corner - that's so exciting! I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers too for lots of strong eggs/embies!

Cheeky - woo hoo!!! 17 days and you're almost there! Great news on your follies -- they sound like perfect size, what a big jump! You must be so relieved.....sending you one last blast of follie dancing to get you through the next couple of days!Image

Angie - Hang in there - you've got about a week, right? I think the second week is the worst - I've been analyzing every little thing (as you know) and driving myself koo koo....I hope you do better than me!

Just a question for everyone who did the HPT....All the instructions say use 'first morning urine'...but, I'm not sure if it's the med's we're on or what, but I'm up to the bathroom every 1-2 hours these days at night - literally 4-5x/night. Even during the day, I go every 2-3 hours. Did any of you have that problem? I'm worried that because of this I'm not getting a good sample.

Well, off to the acu - at least I'll get an hour of relaxation. We're getting our Christmas tree and decorating the house today, so that's something to keep my mind busy too - - I can't believe it's only 23 days to Christmas!Image

Have a good weekend everyone,

- Suzhan Image

OMG,OMG,OMG...Cheekymonkey, i'm soooo thrilled! FYI the happy drugs did not make me so happy! weird hormonal reaction. Good luck with the trigger, hopefully yours will be like mine and not hurt one bit! FET in 2007 sounds like a plan. good lick on Tuesday, will be thinking of you.

Cinders- i think you've got yourself a BFP! congrats early, can't wait to here your numbers on Monday.

RE just called, all five eggs were mature and 4 fertilized and made it through the night! yeah, 4 little embies. the RE said he would call again on Mon and let us know. we are to have sex night before ET, do you think this means ET will not be until Wed??? :?:
