Suzhan - What a great way to start the morning to see your post. I am so so so happy for you. What a difference a day can make with HPTs. Here is to doubling betas for Monday. I am also glad to see that you are feeling better.
Wannababy - Thanks for the encouraging words! That is the one thing I love most about this group is that you all make me feel much better when I am down.
Emily - It's nice is to know that I'll have a cycle buddy next month. Hopefully you'll be hearing from your doctor soon. I know what you mean about wanting to get started. Here is to the time between now and our starts flying by quickly (or at least seem that way to us ).
Suzhan- You just made my day! I was so excited when I got on and read your post. Tomorrow you are going to get the official words to put your mind at ease. I told you about my firend with the neg HPT and that is why I don't even think they sould be around (even though I think I should own stock in the darn things. I've only invested a small fortune in them! ha-ha) But, they can just make for a really bad day when it is truly unnecessary! Hats off to you dear and I can't wait til tomorrow!

Emily, myhb, Wannababy - thanks 'in advance' for the congrat's. Now, I just am keeping my fingers crossed for my beta's to have doubled tomorrow.....I said a little extra prayer this morning too.
Wannababy - Did you still have cramping after your bfp? I haven't really had any since the first few days after transfer and since Friday, whew....progressively more cramps, sometimes even like achey pains and pretty sore....I know it's probably normal but of course I'm wondering if 'something's going wrong'.
I don't get my beta's until late tomorrow and so I won't be able to post until the eve....gosh, I hope everything's okay! I hope I haven't gotten my hopes up too much.
Suzhan- I understand not getting your hopes up yet. I kinda feel the same way. Maybe once I have my u/s Wednesday or after the next few weeks, it will be more real. Did you test again today? I'm looking forward to hearing your beta tomorrow. As for cramping,I had very little, but when I did experience it, it came periodically. It seems like cramping is very normal.
While we are on the subject of normal, I had a few bouts of diarrhea today. Gross, I know, but is it normal? I'm wondering if instead of nausea, mine will come out the other end. My stomach still isn't right. I don't mean to gross anyone of you out but just wondering...
I hope everyone is well and looking forward to some great news in the upcoming weeks. Take care!

All I can say is that " A MOTHER KNOWS". I am having a girl. I knew it from the begining and they said there is no doubt. I am so happy I can not even express it.
I swear, I have great intuition. I have predicted everything about this baby.....I knew we were having problems concieving even though we were not trying long, I knew I was pregnant with IVF even though I was scared it did not work, I knoew it was singleton although everyone including the doctors thougth it was twins, and now this!! Know what is weird, I knew Wannababy was going to have a BFP......I knew it even though I was scared it was going to go the other way but I felt her pregnancy. Weird? But all true!
I am sooooo sick with strept throat right now so i am off to lay down and rest my little girl!!! YEAH YEAH
Love,
Sam

Yeah Sam. I voted girl! I am pretty good about identifying baby genders. You must be thrilled. Take care of your throat and your growing daughter! Now the next question--have you begun to think of names?

Sam - Good for you! Now you can start decorating the nursery and start buying cute girl clothes. For some reason, I think the little girl outfits are much cuter than the boy ones although there are some cute ones for the boys as well. Hang on to that intuition - it's obvious that it is right on target.
Sam - Congratulations! A girl!!!! How exciting. I hope that your throat gets better cuz that's not a lot of fun. But with all of the good news I'm sure you can handle it.
Any word from Suzhan yet???
I am leaving for our National Sales Conference in San Fran tomorrow so I won't be able to check anything until Friday. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Until then - I look forward to more great news!
Take Care-
Emily

Well, it's official. I got the news at work a couple of hours ago but finally got home so I could post. We're so excited, I can hardly believe it. All day I kept thinking something might go wrong, even though the hpt was positive.
Beta's were: 9dpt3dt - 45 and 11dpt3day - 127. They look for doubling and mine almost tripled, so they said it was strong. What do you think, are these okay?
I can't wait for DH to get home so we can call our folks. They're the only people who know we've been through this again and they've been on pins and needles too - - especially since we had so many problems with this cycle. All I can say is that we truly were given a miracle.
My first scan is 12/27!
Thanks again to all of you wonderful ladies - - I don't think I could have gotten through this 3rd try without your unending words of encouragement and support.
We haven't told them yet - just waiting for DH to get home so we can call together. I imagine they'll be thrilled and relieved - they know how rough this whole last year has been. And, while we still have a long way to go (I more than anyone sure know that now), I'm thinking positively!
Sam - I just read your post - it's a little girl! How exciting! And, you were right all the time. Things are just moving right along!
YEAH!! And those numbers sound wonderful. It is a nice strong BETA. Just keep doing what the doctor says and try and take it easy. I know holidays can be crazy but you have to take care of that little one or two. I am excited to hear how your parents reacted. I remember sending an ECARD over the internet when I was IM'ing my parents. They opened it up when I was on the computer and the card read "taking applications for babysitters". Their reaction was so great and I felt like I was right there with them. They did not suspect a thing.
My Dh and I just took our christmas card photo. We wrote out Girl on my tummy and am sending it out tomorrow. This way all our friends and family will find out the same time and in a fun way.
Wannababy- You are right, this thread is on fire!!!!

Suzhan - What a great way to end what was such a crappy day for me! I am so happy for you. Regarding your question about the beta numbers, at 14 DPO, the average hcg level for singleton pregnancies is 48 with a typical range of 17-119. You are well beyond that so I would say that you have some strong beta numbers. Congratulations! Here is to a nice, happy 9 months.
