Way to go Casy! Enjoy the happiness and get ready for the next 8-1/2 months!
Cindy - I was up at 2:30 and 5:45, so I know what you mean! I'm up about 2-3x/night to wee, I was 4-5x/night just a couple of days ago. I agree - it's training for the 'real deal'. Mia (I think?) suggested trying warm milk with cinnamon. I'm not a huge milk fan but I tried it for the past two nights and I really liked it. Best yet, within 20 minutes, I was back asleep. Our clinic won't call your results until about 3 pm or even later if they're busy - ugh! Good luck to you too! Here's to a very strong beta!
Jovi - hang in there! I understand completely the 'ups and downs' and by no means was a role model, but try to maintain the pma.
Noodle - I too have heard of having sex prior to ET - - we had to this time (actually right after ER, a couple of days before ET) because RE thought I may have already ovulated some of my egg's. Not the most pleasant thing in the world since being sore from ER. But heck , the things we do to get preggo, right? Your DH will appreciate it later because you'll be 'on restriction' for quite a while after!
Rochelle - I did a 3dt and ditto Cinders' comments on difference between day 3 and day 5. I did my first hpt at 8dpt3dt and it was negative, then positive at 9dp3dt. It's a personal choice to do so or not, but a lot of peeps say "Don't Do It!" because of the emotional downer of getting a negative when we test too early. All your symptoms seem like positive signs to me....hang in there - you're almost there and will know tomorrow!
Mia - I thought your follicle count sounded a lot higher than August - congrat's! Your next scan must be soon - keep us posted on ER day! And thanks so much for the good wishes for today - I feel really positive, but I know the hpt is absolutely not definitive and I need the doubling beta. I pray I haven't gotten my hopes up too much and the beta looks good today!
Angie - enjoy the website! There's also 'peeonastick.com' - hee hee...Silly little fact on that website - you can actually use an opk to test for hcg - apparently lh and hcg are almost the same and an opk will pick up the hcg instead of the lh. Kinda strange, huh? That page will give you the most sensitive hpt's so if you're going to test early, make sure you get a really sensitive one. In terms of when, I'd say 12dp2dt would be a more certain time...any earlier and you risk a false negative. I didn't get my positive hpt until 9dp3dt, which would be equivalent to 10dp2dt for you.
OOOOOO....ladies, we just had an earthquake - small one, but shaked our house! I'm off to check out how big & where.
Good luck everyone, xoxoxoxox
