Jaby - Will this be your first child? I guess some of are so despirate that twins or triplets don't scare us. Matter of fact for those of us who are older, mulitples would be a blessing. I keep saying "us" like I have everyone's buy in. I should be saying "we" as in DH and I. You will be in my prayers during your decisions.

Macca - Your FIL will be in my prayers. Hope he finds a comfort in his sickness - A peace or rest where he can live some longer.

Sokru - Congrats on your date. That is close. Grow eggies grow!!!! Keep us posted.

babyblue: Actually, there are a few reasons my follicle #s are higher this time... first off i started w/21 antrals. BUT, i also had 21 antrals my #1 cycle... so here is the summary. On cycles #1 and #2 i was on the 'standard' type protocol i.e., gonal-f/follistim, and menopur pwdrs. On the 2nd, he added 100mg clomid and increased the FSH.

Despite 21 antrals on 1st cycle, only 7 retrieved. 2nd cycle 15 antrals, 6 retrieved (despite more meds), 2 midgrade blasts, bfn. This time he mixed it up a bit. He is doing a Microdose lupron flare, but modified somewhat. About 3 days into stims, my LH surged and he had me take a dose of antagonist, then stopped lupron about day 5, and now i am taking daily ganirelix. (supposedly increasing LH levels from lupron can effect egg quality...maybe that's why he did it???). My e2 levels have been MUCH higher than the other cycles (... in fact my d3 E2 on #1 was 70, on this cycle my d3 E2 was >700). My ovaries have really liked this protocol (although i will reserve final judgment...).

sokru8: congrats on your ER date!

Jaby: that is fantastic news...looks like you may have some to freeze...

mom20: fingers crossed for your possible job!

aunty: Yipee!!! that is fantastic news for you...and long overdue. woohooImage

Hello lovely ladies,

my 2 ww'ers - Susan and Carolyn - no symtons really at all for me - bbs were slightly sore a few days a ago but now even less, if at all. Have a really slight cramping sensation (but cramping not really the word) it's really nothing - in fact I'm prob imagining it!

Carolyn - if Sat is 9dp2dt for you then does that mean I can test tomorrow - Wed? Will be 9dp2dt for me? OMG ! - I think I will try and hold out a bit longer. I will let you know when I am going to cave in!

Susan - I think you can do an HPT - you are so nearly there and you're right it is important to have DH around. Good luck good luck good luck m'dear - I have everything crossed for you!

Bec - my fellow yogi - yoga was great - I skived all the hard bits ie abs stuff and inversions and spent alot of the time in a very realxing position - (baracanassana??- I never know the names!!) - on my back any way, feet together, knees apart - lovely and stretching out the tummy. Sending you grow eggies grow vibes - it's all sounding good for you. :D

Shanatala - sorry the wait is hard for you. I know what it's like but once things start to happen it will move quickly (apart from the 2ww of course!)

Better go - had a good day at work yesterday, good busy not stressful busy. Tonight DH and I are going to look at a house - we're not desperate to buy yet (hopefully after next week we may have more of an incentive though...!)

So I am feeling pretty chilled and relaxed at the moment although I'm sure the hormones will swing any moment....

Any way stay warm all you Northern Hemi people - it's a swelterer here today - 33 degrees. I am boiling hot - I am wearing black trousers coz I need to get my legs waxed - youch!

bye for now

So I have schedule from the DR.

I will be waiting til next AF (DEC 26?) and on day 3 I will start stimms. Usually I start BCP's but they said I didnt need to do that.

Then it is exectly the same schedule as before but now I dont have to take BCP's.

I will take menopur this time. Has anyone taken this? If so, what does it do? Im still gonna take Follistim though.

My clinic says that they have had very good responses from Menopur because it is more natural.

Becky- Let us know how your job was. Im sure they loved you!!

Mom- good luck on your Job. I hope you love it!!

Tanya- I would reccommend AH. I have done it and it helps the embryos break out of their shell so that they can implant. I do it with my cycles. My problem is getting my uterus ready. I will also try accupunture this time I think.

Macca- Great FSH!! Mine is also low at 4.6!! You will have a great cycle Good luck to you. I will be praying for FIL. I know it has to be so hard for you. Please hang in there and know that he is being prayed for.

Carolyn- not much longer... Let us now if you POAS. Praying very hard this is your tiime!!

Dory- good luck to you. Take some time away. You need to spend some time on YOU. Good luck in what you do and thanks for being there for all of us.

Baby Blue- Good luck on your meeting. Let us know what happens and what they say.

Hi to everyone.. Sorry if I missed you. I will write more later after I read up on what stage we are all at.

Hugs to you,
Jackie

Welcome Tony! Its great to have a man join our group! Sorry about the male bashing in the previous post…. My dh actually does know how to use the dishwasher…well sort of.

Lisa: I am saddened to hear of the news of your father in law. It is so hard to know that there is nothing that can be done. I just spent the last year with a good friend who just past away from a long battle with cancer. It was heart breaking. I hope that you and your dh can make him a grandfather in the time he has left. My thoughts are with you and your dh. Grow eggies grow!

Aunty: So great to hear that your clinic is willing to make things work for you!! Now just get that AF to behave!

Tanya: Welcome To the Family! I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I am sure this New Year will be the one for you and your dh to expand your family!

Sassy: You are an awesome photographer! I love the picture of the great wall of china. You must be well traveled. Is Matt your dh? Thanks for sharing! Wow 17 follies you go girl!!!

Susan: Good luck on a BFP! Don’t read to much into your symptoms! Good luck I will pray for you!

Jaby: Wow you are moving right a long good luck on your e/t I wish you the best of luck!!

I’m with you Bec my stimming has been hard. I don’t feel well at all. I seem to get a head ache after every shot! I hope you will start to feel better! Grow eggs to you to!!

Christine: Sorry that the BCP are effecting you but it will all be worth it!

Shantala: Good luck to you and your DH on your appointment.

Baby Blue: I am glad you are getting your protocol tomorrow! Its great to know the plan. How many eggs are you going to do? Hope that is not to personal of a question.

Mom: Great news about the call back! I will keep everything crossed for you! :)

Well I got my protocol! 2 shots in the morning(Gonal F and Low Dose HCG) 2 in the evening Gonal F and Ganirelix) ! YUCK! Oh well its worth it. And my DH is even making dinner for me tonight! What a sweetie!
Love to All!

Babyblue: I have a two year-old DS, who was conceived through Clomid and IUI. It took us 6 years to have him, so I know desperation. I'm happy with anything we get (actually, I think triplets would be my limit!) :D I think DH is overwhelmed with the whole process, but he'd be happy with whatever (whoever!) comes our way! I'm 38 (almost) and DH will be 39 in January.

Good luck to you!

Hello my old friends and new friends! Things are moving along for everyone here, that's great! Thought I'd join you again. As you may know my FET a few weeks ago was a BFN, so I am actually cycling again right now. I'm actually doing my ER sometime this week, probably Thurs or Fri. I had a US today and I have 18 follies, 10 follies that are ripe and ready, but they are stimming me another day or 2, so a few more should ripen up. My embies will be frozen and I will do an FET either Jan or Feb. DH wants to wait a little longer, we'll just have to wait and see.

Sassy,
I saw your photos and I am so so so jealous! Going on an African safari is like one of my life long dreams! Coincidentally I'm a photographer too and I have wanted to go on a safari since I was in high school.

Good luck to everyone on the TWW! Sticky baby dust to you!

Hi Aunty, Thank you. :) It's a special December cycle my clinic is doing. I get a big discount to do it this way. I was actually told by the lady in billing that it is a "study cycle". I think it's an FET study, but not entirely sure. I'm not worried about it. My clinic has had lots of success with FET. I actually prefer it because of linning problems I had with my fresh cycle. And the fact that I felt so much better during my FET cycle due to less hormones. Although my FET didn't work either so it may have been the embies. :?

Hi everyone
Well it is a misrerable day here in London it is blowing a gale and is very wet and horrid.

Aunty that is great news. You must be getting really excited. Roll on the new year.

Mia That ig food news that you have loads of follicules. I was told that FET would be better fro me than a fresh cycle as there is less stimulation going on inside. Bes of luck.

Sonya it will be over soon you are at the last hurdle with all the drugs. Hope you feel better soon. Good luck with trigger. Sending good vibes to make follicules mature well.

Jackie That is good news that you will be able to start soon. That is only three weeks away!!!!

Angie and carolyn Hope you are not getting to stressed out. i have been good and still not done a test. In a way i am too scared. i dont want the disapointment!!!

Jaby Good luck with transfer on wed. I am sure they will get two nic ones out of the 7. Or one if that is what you and d/H decide.

Mom Hope that the job you applied for comes through for you.

Bec hope your headaches are getting a bit better. keep drinking lots of water.

Macca Sorry to here about your FIL i can understand the worry as my dad is terminally ill and i miss him so much and worry about him so much. I just wish i could hug him everyday instead of living 400 miles away. I have just been home for a few days and it was so good to see him. I Just wish i could give him a grandchild as that would make him so happy.

sassynlv I hope this protocole is better for you this time and that you get a good result.

Becky how was your first day??? Are you going back!!!

Baby blue good luck with your meeting.

Hi to everyone else that i have not mentioned.

News on me is nothing really. I feel sick but that is just nerves. Have been to scared to do a HPT this am and now i think it will be too diluted!! Any excuse. I am just a woose!!! still feel my AF is around the corner, am feeling very emotional.

Speak to you all later

love to you all

Susan - you are so right. What a horrid day in London. Thought of just staying under the duvet all day. You are doing so well to resist the HPTs although understand what you mean about the disappointment..........I feel sick already and you are way closer than me! I have everything crossed for you tomorrow. So hope that you are going to be the first of many BFPs on this wonderful thread

Angie - wish we had some of your sunshine over here! It is freezing and horrid. Only thinking of testing on Saturday as at least then I have the day to compose myself at home if it is negative and also as dh will go play golf, I'll be able to do without him seeing me!!!! I also know that it is the day that I bled last time...............no more logic to it than that!!!

My head is really starting to go today. Guess that it is the midway mark.

Jaby - All 7 going strong. That is terrific. I guess that we all have to make our own choices about how many back. It is what is right for you & dh

Babyblue - I am with on the multiples. Given that I am 4-0, I was thrilled that they let me put 3 back. I would be delighted with any outcome that is not BFN.

Mom - Fingers crossed that they call back with good news for you on the job front

Aunty - so fab that they'll open specially for you. Like you are a celebrity! That is such good news

Sonya - Wow. You are so close. Final jabs and then let's hope for a really fab EC day for you on Wednesday. The headaches are almost behind you now

Sassy - your numbers sound terrific. This protocol must really suit you. Let's hope that you will have some snow babies too

TransRN - welcome to our family. The girls here are terrific

Bec - Hoping that your bloods and scan will go well today for you hun

Mia - agree with you that a FET must be way more natural than when your body is brim full of all the drugs. Know that acu certainly helped boast my lining. You are so close already. Hope that EC is going to go really well for you later this week

Jackie - terrific that you'll be starting soon & now have a schedule. I find that really helps me as then at least I can make plans

Macca/Lisa - I am so sorry about your FIL. Sounds rough on you & dh. I'll be thinking of him & hoping that he does not suffer

Shantala - hope that it really did make you laugh. I was not trying to be blase about it - it is just such a rollercoaster of highs and lows for all of us.

Hugs to everyone else who I have missed. Must get on with some work I guess. Really struggling today as feel so distracted.

Hope that you are all doing well. Take good care.

Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to pop in and say a quick hi to all of you. Things have been crazy busy latley and I have not had a chance to read up on all your progress. I did however talk to DH and asked him to spend some time with my son tonight so that I could get caught up. I am going to do a few personals now and I will do the rest later once I am up to snuff!

Carolyn, I hope your TWW is flying by for you and you are in my prayer for the BFP that you should be getting!

Aunty, I am so glad things are working out for you next cycle. I am exited to have you as my cycle buddy. And I am starting to understand the want for AF. I still have about 2 weeks until I am due and it is killing me. I am starting to realize that I am a very impatient person!

Bec, I hope you are doing good. I have missed you lately. Send me an email when you have time and let me know how things are!

Mom20- Good luck with the job search. I hope this one works out for you!

Becky, Hope you enjoyed your new job! Let us know how it was!

OK ladies, back to work for me. Like I said I will catch up later!

Hugs and Baby Dust to you all!

Morning ladies, Susan and Carolyn, I have read that you are feeling sick and that you feel AF is around the corner. The mind plays horrible tricks on you at the worst times in life. Feeling sick and emotional are all good things though. Before I took a HPT for my daughter I was crying all the time and I felt horrible. I also expected AF so it's like I willed her symptoms. In the end though, it was just my girl saying HI I'm growing.
Try to relax and have lots of PMA. I know the waiting is the worst, you are almost done though. My daughter says that this week and next week are her luckiest weeks of the year (prob cuz her b-day is the 11th!)

Welcome to all the new people, you have all found a great place to come and find comfort and feel free to vent any time. Also ask any all questions, we have very wise ladies here and the all knowing Aunty!
Tony, my DH is so happy to see that a man is on the thread. He has been affraid to ask questions but now I'm sure he will not hesitate to seek the man's perspective.

As for us, DH is home today, and possibly the rest of the week. He is just too sore from the aspiration to much of anything. I really feel bad for him now even though if he would have followed the Dr. directions closer he would be better then he is now. Still, I am taking care of him and letting him play all the xbox he wants! I am off to my saline sono so I will check in with all of you when I return.

Have a great day, PMA to all of you and sticky baby dust.
