Suzhan: Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooo happy for you. Sorry it took so long to post, I just got home. You must be thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I'm not sure what to think about my results. These are my betas:

9dpt: 121
11dpt: 219

The clinic said that I need to go back in Wed. My numbers didn't double (I was 20 short). Now I'm really worried that something is wrong. Has anyone else had a shortage of doubling and then came out okay?? Help!!!

Suzhan - so happy for you - was waiting for your post - you must feel on top of the world. :D

Cinders - my clinic here in OZ simply does a blood test on day 14 of a 2 day transfer and looks for a number of over 100. So if you were here in Oz, you would be doing just fine. So please don't worry and good luck for Wednesday.

Hi Ladies,

Just woke up to my period. And I did brake down yesterday and took 2 hpt's and they were negative. So, I am not sure if we are going to do this again. We already have one child naturally, and we were doing IVF because I passed down a gene to my child that I didn't want to pass down again. We were doing PGD. We may try one more time or gamble and do it natually again. We will see. Did you guys have luck the second time around? Maybe I didn't eat right in my 2ww. I didn't drink that much water. For those of you who got BFP's what did you guys eat and what was your activities? I was totally nervous the whole 2 weeks. I am just not sure what went wrong?????

Good luck everyone. Congrats to all the BFP's. Motherhood is a wonderful thing. I enjoy it so much. I know you guys will too.

Thanks for all your support and I will keep you posted on my next move. I am just glad I can stop the shots.:)

Cindy - I know it's going to be agony waiting for the third beta on Wednesday, but from everything I have read, those numbers are very good and it's probably just an extra precaution to get the 3rd beta. Our clinic is very conservative (think about how cautious they were on both of our linings, but other doctors said it was just fine.) I'm sure nothing anyone can say will reassure you completely until you get that call on Wednesday and I understand that. Hang in there!

Skidoo - so sorry the hpts were negative. There still is a chance that your blood test could be more accurate and sensitive, but I know what it's like to get your mind ready. I hope things turn around today. You know we're all here for you either way.

Rochelle - What a disappointment to get your period. Having been through this 3 times, I scoured books and the internet for ways to improve my chances. It seems healthy diet is important and, for me, adding chinese medicine/acupuncture has been great - I don't know if it helped with me physically, but I definitely think it helped mentally. The two best books I found was the Zita West book "Fertility and Conception" and the Randine Lewis book "Infertility Cure" (this second one is pretty techincal on the chinese medicine stuff.) It sounds like you're not really infertile, so maybe the zita west book would be best? Also, I really think this process has some element of sheer randomness to it. I wish you and DH all the best. I hope I'll be able to experience that wonderful part of being a mother - congratulations to you on having that in your life.

Cheeky - let us know how EC going today! I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!

Angie - hope you're hanging in there only a few days left!

Hi all
Haven't posted for a while but keeping an eye on everyone.
I am so sorry for all of you that have BFN's my heart goes out to you, be strong your time for motherhood will come one way or another.
To all the BFP's congratulations to you all enjoy your next 9 months.
To those testing and on ER this week good luck to you all.

Rochelle i am so sorry you have got your AF. I wanted to let you know that i had PGD twice and thankfully the second time worked with only 1 embie transfered so it can work have faith. It is so difficult when you recieve your BFN and i know that i analised every thing that i did incase i caused it. When i had my 2nd treatment i decided to carry on as usual after my 3 days bed rest,i went olive picking and did quite a bit of walking and ate what i wanted. I was still worried the whole time but tried not to get to stressed. Please don't blame yourself you did nothing wrong if it is ment to be it will be. I wish you well in whatever route you decide to take.

Good Afternoon Ladies, ET was quick and painless, just mild cramping today. we transfered 3 embies (got a nice picture of them). the marker test was negative on all my embies so the DR is giving us 22% success rate, nice huh? well that's 22% more than we had naturally. DR suggested asst hatching, which we did. DR also gave us the option of postponing ET until day 5, saying that if they made it to day 5 the chance og PG went up to 57%. we decided to put them in, our feeling is that they are going to make it no matter what! PMA. PMA. PMA.

cheekymonkey- hope EC went well, thinking about you!!!
nictor- congrats on BFP, must feel so great!
M'BA- the scan must of made it almost real??? still floating around??
Sassy- 17 follies way to go, when is EC?
Suzhan- YEAH!!!
Cinders- I was always told as long as the numbers where going up, it was a good thing.
Mia- thanks for the positive thoughts and energy!

Meg- i am so sorry, do something extra special for yourself, you deserve it!
Dory- i posted on the other thread, but again you PMA is encouraging and helpful to me.
skidoo- wait for the BW, i've seen a lot of possible BFN turn to BFP on this board.

Thanks again for all the good wishes, i'm going back to my bed in the sun with my warm foods and liquids and pineapple. FYI DH and I couldn't have sex before ET, due to lack of time. DH was very annoyed at the DR for not giving us more notice, guess it's going to be a long 8 weeks. Sticky baby dust to everyone!!!

Skidoo and Rochelle -- I'm so sorry Image...hugs to you both. I hope your REs will be able to offer some good suggestions for the future. Like M'ba says, really spoil yourself in the next couple of month and keep us posted.

Noodle - congrats on your ET! Glad it was nice and painless - as it should be! And, welcome to the 2ww - relax and take care of yourself. What's a 'marker test', if you don't mind me asking? I'd never heard of that.

Cindy - thinking about you and I just know you'll get a strong and reassuring 3rd beta tomorrow.

Take care everyone,

- suzhan

Hi ladies - update from me is that
sadly I have spotting :( - it's brownish mainly, but a tiny bit of red last night.

Finally got through to the nurses and had detailed discussion about colour and volume - basically I have to stuff a pessary in if it goes red and although you shouldn't bleed on this particular thaw cycle, about 40% do. She told me whatever I do, not to stop with the drugs - I guess I knew that but it seems pretty futile...sorry to be negative - I will probably HPT tomorrow to prepare ourselves gradually.

Any BFP stories after spotting gratefully received...
