Hi I was just wondering If anyone has been in the same situation as me. My husband and I have been told that our only problem is his low sperm count . We just did our first round of IVF and got a BFN. I am 25 years old. The DR tells me that there is nothing wrong with me. I have been through every test and everything has come out fine. During the IVF cycle I produced 21 eggs and had 2 5 day blasts transferred. I had nothing to freeze. I am really considering moving right into sperm donation because I really think the IVF cycle was too much for me to handle. Emotionally I don't think I can go through another one. Has anyone had a failed IVF and then had a successful IUI with sperm donation? Please let me know. I am very confused on what to do.
hello
i too am in the same boat as you, i have done 4 ivf cycles (2 fresh 2 frozen)my husband went through 2 tesa and all four have failed, we then moved on to donor iui we have done 5 (4 clomid 1 injects)
all neg they too saying nothing wrong on my end, but they are going to do a lporscopy in jan to look around we are very discouraged i am looking forward to the new year to see what happens we took a break dec.please keep in touch love to hear your progress
I did 4 ICSI (fresh cycles) with my hubbies sperm but we had 2 BFN and 2 bio chemicals!
We moved onto DIUI this summer when we found a match and had 2 cycles of injectables and then one cycle on clomid. The last cycle was a success and we saw a little baby with the heart beating at our 7 week scan..sadly it wasn't right and I had a m/c at 9 weeks. We now hope that I will fall again with the donor next year.
Good luck
