Thanks everyone for your kind words. I am feeling better now. If I want to continue with IVF, I can start the pill on my 3rd day of my period. Not much of a relaxation period and I guess start the whole process over next month. I had no good eggs to freeze.

Cindy--Good luck tomorrow. Hope your numbers increase.
Noodle-- I hope the 2ww goes well for you. It was hard for me to wait.
elliecat--Thanks for your note. I really appreciate what you said and I am glad that it worked for you. You give me hope to try to do it again.
Suzhan--Thanks for the advice on all those books. I might check them out. Congrats on your BFP.

Angie - Could it be implantation bleeding and did the nurses mention anything about that? I see you're 9 days post transfer, but how far along were the embies? I've always heard brownish spotting is a sign of implantation and actually could be a good sign.

Here's a link to a story of a lady with a bfp after brown spotting 4 days before first beta (read the last sentence of the first paragraph).

http://forums.haveababy.com/index.php?s ... l=spotting

As you said to me, try to keep the pma a few more days - the last days of the 2ww are sheer torture, in my opinion, so please try to keep yourself calm. My DH said that negative feelings only channel energy away from your embies, so try to focus sending positive energy to those little beanies and envision them snuggling in tight. I know it's hard - make that impossible.....Hang in there!

xoxoxo,

Thanks Suzhan - you 're an angel sending me that link and it supports what the nurse said earlier to me. Definitely no red stuff so far today - just a little brown. it just looks like AF is coming but I have no cramps - may be there is still a glimmer of hope . PMA PMA PMA.

Embies were 2 days by the way.

God this is hard!

Thank you Angie. I am so excited and am really thankful to God !!

I wish you all the very best with the thaw. How many embies do you have frozen ?

This time, I went for Accupuncture just after my transfer (within 2 hours). There is alot of reserch and evidence to prove that accupuncture helps. I also lay in bed for the first 3-4 days and got complete rest. I also prayed everyday.. I think this combination really helped.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I will try my best to help.

Love,
Sita

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to send a quick post to let you know that I had ER yesterday and they got 24 eggs and they phoned today and said 10 have fertilised and look very good!! I was a little dissapointed with 10 out of 24 but the nurse said that was fine and the ones they got look fine!!
I am extremely sore and uncomfortable and have been told to look out for OHSS!
I will check in again when I am feeling better!
Hope everyone is well
Take Care

BFN for us. We have 6 frosties so we will see what happens. We need to make an appointment with the RE to see what they say. Everything looks good going in so who knows what the issue really is.
Looking forward to getting FET started. Hope I can squeeze it in this month yet. We shall see.

Thanks for all the support!!

Congrats to all of you on the positive end and hang in there to all of us on the Negative end!!

Keep the faith! :D

Holly & Skidoo: Sorry for your BFN's. That is dissapointing. Skidoo, I'm glad you are starting right away. I heard that alot of people get BFP's on the 2nd round of invitro because your lining is better (I guess all the meds can mess up your lining; but with frozen, your lining is better). Goodl luck to you both!!

Cheekeymonkey: Wow, 24 eggs!! I see why you are in pain. 10 is a great number!!! I had 16 fertilize and only 2 didn't make it; so I think you are off to a great start!!! Are you doing a 3 or 5 day transfer??

Well, I had my 3rd beta this AM...waiting to see if my numbers have doubled. I hope so!!! Will post when I hear.

Good luck on your BFP g'bnut!!

wow, ladies, there is a lot going on!! So i had better get to it...

Holly: so sorry about your BFN. You have been through quite a lot and I am hoping better things for you next time.

Suzhan: Yipeee!! That is a nice, strong beta rise. congrats! I am SOO happy for you!

Cinders: You must be going crazy... can't wait to hear your numbers today...

Angellica: Looking forward to hearing all is well w/you scan next wk. That way you can concentrate only on your preg. Good luck!

Rochelle: BFN? So bummed. I am glad you will be meeting up w/RE soon to help you make some decisions. I did the same thing...analyzing everything i did during 2ww, and what i should have done differently. I know for me it is hard when things seem to be so out of my control. So i am hoping that you and dh along w/RE can come up w/ a plan you are happy w/ whether it is trying naturally, or PGD again.

Skidoo: I am sorry sorry for your BFN. I know it doesn't make it better, but i am glad that you have frosties. For me, it is helpful to go straight into the next cycle after BFN (being type A and all.. ), and if that is what you want to do, i hope it works out this month.

Noodle: congrats on your ET! 3 emb, that's great!

Jovigal: So bummed for your BFN. I think you said you were mtg w/RE today? I hope you are able to work out a plan you are happy with. let us know when you get your new schedule...

Cheeky: 10 ferts is great!!! ( i know you were hoping for more w/24  retrieved, but were they all mature?). Anyway, 10 gives you plenty to work w/. congrats!

Mia: saw someone in the WR today that fits your description... but didn't think you had an appt this early (0700), so i chickened out and didn't approach her. Was that you? If you go to my flickr site (link below my signature), my picture is on there.... wouldn't surprise me if we meet up in the office at some point. when is ER? Hope everything is going well.

d10 US looked good today, lots of follies (finally!) that seem to be growing well. RE seems happy that the "tweaks" he made to this protocol for me seem to be working wonders. his optimism makes me more hopeful....but i remain just cautiously optimistic (waiting to see how many he is actually able to retrieve). ER pushed back to let some catch up...prob sat or sun. repeat US tomorrow.

Sorry if i missed anyone. Wishing you all the best!

M'BA- thanks for the PMA
Jovigal, Rochelle, skidoo and holly- so sorry, do something grand for yourself and then plan the next step.
sita-
congrats on BFP
suzhan- the marker test is used to determine which eggs should be put back in they would like to put in positive markers (70% success rate) rather than negative markers (22% success rate). all I had were negatives, my nurse said not to dwell on it to much, that they had better results than the published rate. still hit as a downer. thanks for the advice and the PMA.
Cheekymonkey- Yeah......Way to go, I don't know how you survived with al those follies in you, I was so uncomfortable with only 12. 10 fertilized is also great, lots to freeze.

I am back to work today, sucks. DH quit his job on Monday, nice timing huh?? and yes he felt it neccessary to tell me. I know he'll find a new and better job but must stop worring!!!! Testing on 12-15-06, not feeling itchy to do a HPT yet! I guess that's a good thing.
