What creams are you using???

Before you go buying any really expensive creams, Google search on the idea and look at what all of the doctors say.

Its always nice to use lotion, but stretch marks aren't prevented by it.

Hey Vicky

I went to my chemist and asked her if honestly she thought that those stretch marks creams really works.
She says only moisturizing and massaging your skin can help (although it might not work...) and that it was pointless to buy any expansive cream. Especially that towards the end of your pregnancy, you will have to use a lot of cream, so it would cost you a fortune!!

I already have stretch marks from teenage years, so I started very early in pregnancy to use a cream for very dry skin.
I bought one from boots : Mediterranean apricot olive honey body butter for very dry skin. As well, it is organic which I think was better for pregnant bellies. It is not so cheap but a lot cheaper that any stretch marks creams( I think i paid £7 for it)
I did get the chance to have a big belly

, but i did not get anymore stretch marks on my boobs...

I actually heard about Palmers Cocoa Butter Strech Mark cream, it is quite cheap (around U$5.00), have you heard about it?????

Hi,
I used the Avent cream, had a lovely refreshing smell, word of warning though, warm it in your hands first coz it is COOOOOOLD on your belly

I thought i was doing great rubbing in cream and getting no stretch marks, that was until about a fortnight before i was due, then wham, they appeared. The cream did help with the itchiness once they appeared though.
The Avent soothing nipple cream is also very good if you are planning on breastfeeding. I used it a lot in the first couple months when Kady was feeding constantly and my nipples became quite sore and it did soothe.
The Avent products are very reasonably priced.
