Wannababy - regarding the diarrhea - I found this link (it's from a pretty great book to use when you learn you're expecting)....It basically says 1-2 bouts isn't too bad but if it goes on too long, call your doctor. It also says it could be something in your prenatal? I hope it's gone away for you by now!
Sam & Myhb - thanks for the reassurance on the beta's - I guess this process is just one worry to the next. Myhb, it was great to see I was well above the 'normal range'. That made me feel much better. Of course, I dont' think I'll breathe completely easily until that first scan - I can't believe it's not until 12/27! Luckily, Christmas will keep me busy until then!
We told the parents last night and of course, they're so excited. They were so worried about us. We're all still a bit guarded because of our first experience, but I'm really trying to just think positively that this time will be different!
Question - does anyone know anything about flying? Normally, we spend a few days in Wisconsin with DH's family. My MIL says we should skip it because it would put too much stress and doesn't want to cause any problems. DH is starting to agree. I didn't think there was any risk or issue with flying and it's only a 3-1/2 hour flight? Anyone know? I'll probably call RE today too.
I haven't been on this board for a while and I am so happy to see all the good news.
Big congratulations Suzhan, so happy for you. And I trust that the other girls are doing well in their pregnancy
Suzhan, 3.5 hours is only a short flight and from experience it shouldn't have any effect on the pregnancy provided you feel at ease and are happy and healthy. If you're not comfortable doing it, then don't. Otherwise have a lovely celebration with family and enjoy!
Suzan - Many many congratulation to both of u. I can't tell you how happy I am for u. I was wishing so hard that this time it should work for you. Take good care of yourself dear.
Lola - Congratulations on ur twins!! I am so happy for u.
Nothing new at my end. I am doing fine and I've started thinking about my next IVF which I think will be in Jan-Feb timeframe. Already back on my wheatgrass routine
We are planning to go to Las Vegas during winter break and I am looking forward for this change.
I get very excited when I look at our updates. Our plan was to get all pg's and I think we are reaching there. This gives me lot of hope .

Champa--It's good to hear from you. How are you doing?
Suzhan-My first scan is on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to seeing how everything looks! Thanks for the article. I'm going to read it as soon as I post this. I just had the one bout of diarrhea (knock on wood). I've been pretty good for the past few days, just trying to discover which foods upset my stomach--so far pb&j and bananas. How are you feeling? Are you in shock? Although I know that I am pregnant, I don't think it I will truly believe it until tomorrow's ultrasound. I'll keep you posted!

Champa ---- so great to hear from you and thank you so much for your warm wishes. I was really excited that you're considering another start. Enjoy your holiday in Las Vegas. We'll all be here ready to cheer you on that next cycle, you know, since we have to get our whole team bfps! Mia will be doing FET next year, so maybe you two can cycle together (or at least go through the 2ww together!)
Wannababy - I'm glad you're feeling better. I'm sooo jealous you get your first scan so early - I have to wait 'til 7 weeks! I had my first bout of nausea this morning - could not finish my cereal. Other than that, I feel exhausted a lot but good. I'm not in shock so much as just nervous that everything is going well 'in there'.
Rittie - so glad to hear from you too. How are the twins? Do you get to find out the sex? Thanks for the advice on flying - that was my thought too, but I think MIL is just conservative.
I have been feeling better since moving into the second trimester. Didn't get sickness till end of week 8 which lasted till something like week 14. I didn't really have it that bad. Belly didn't seem to have grown much until week 17 when suddenly I felt like I had swallowed a basket ball. Can't believe it will be 20 weeks on Friday - my belly has grown A LOT in the last few weeks. And I feel better for it, starting to look forward to things. It would be amazing when you girls are able to share observations of your growing bump awwwww, please make sure you do girls. I'm going for my second scan on 14th December, am pretty nervous about it. I feel good but I can't wait to see that both babies are ok and growing to plan. That would put my mind at ease. Has anyone got a summary of how our list of girls are doing?

Wow, a lot has happened since I was here the last week. I don't even know where to start! This thread is really on fire and we are not going to leave until we are all pregnant! We are half way there!
First of all.....Suzhan!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I had tears in my eyes when I read your post. I truly believe this time everything will work out for you and you will have this baby. This is so amazing, I am so happy for you!!!!!! Happy nine months (actually it is only 8 now)!
Sam --- I guess mother knows, right? How great, baby girls are always so cute! I love the idea for the Christmas cards, just wait for all the responses!
Wannababy ---- I understand how you feel, I did not believe it until my first ultrasound, but when I saw the heartbeat, I was in tears. Now I believe it even more, since I am having a terrible nausea... Good luck with everything next week! I vote you are having twins too, just like me!
Champa, Myhb, Golfrswife, Bobo --- it is so good to hear from you again and I hope you can start soon so we can achieve our goal of getting us all pregnant! Good luck! We will be here to cheer you up!
Rittie --- good luck with your ultrasound, you are about to find out the genders, right? Do you have a feeling of knowing, like Sam?
Girls, I am having terrible constant nausea and it gets even worse in the morning. It started my 6th week. I have to eat every two hours, or it gets even worse. I am not throwing up too much, but it is very unpleasant. I just wish my first trimester is over. We will tell everybody then... I cannot wait! I just went to my friends baby shower on Sunday and it was so hard to keep quiet. But I managed. My U/S went well yesterday and I am still carrying 3, but the third one has a very slow heartbeat and is very tiny. So I was told it will get absorbed by the uterus and I will have TWINS. The other two are strong and healthy and they grew so much since last week. I could see their heartbeats, legs, head, everything! It is a true miracle.
Hope you all had a nice weekend! Lola

I had my first scan today! We have one little brownie brewing! I saw the sac and the doctor says that it looks great. Bloodwork is fine. I still have to continue with PIO. I was hoping that they would tell me to stop. I go back for my second scan next Wednesday, Dec 13. We should see the heartbeat then. I'm looking forward to that. I think that will confirm this whole pregnancy for me.
Lola-How many scans have you had? I can''t wait to see legs, heads, etc.
To everyone else I hope that all is well. I'm DH is cooking (picking up) dinner so I need to go to have some input.

Rittie - it sounds like you were lucky with the morning sickness - 6 weeks of it and not too bad is better than what I've heard from a lot of ladies. I can't wait until your next scan! It will sure be great to see those little ones moving around. Can you feel them yet? Already a basketball, huh? Well, not too bad for 20 weeks!
Thank you, Lola, for the congrat's. I'm super excited and yet still very worried (my acu says having kids means you will worry about your kids your whole life, which I guess is probably true!) I'm so sorry you've gotten nausea - but in a wierd way you can think of it in a reassuring way because it means those babies are strong and growing away. Glad to hear your 2 little ones are so strong. It is a true miracle. Do you have to have any more scans or do you wait a while now? Boy, I can't wait for my scan.
Wannababy - one little one growing strong - how great! My RE keeps everyone on PIO until discharge from him which is at about 10-11 weeks, so I'm just getting used to the fact that I've got at least 6-7 more weeks of PIO's to go. But, I'm not complaining because I'm glad to continue them because it means I'm still moving along!
My symptoms come and go which drives me a bit batty - 'cause I worry when something feels 'different'. Last night I was super nauseous at dinner but today, I feel fine. Sometimes, bb's feel incredibly sore just to walk around and other times they're only a little sore to the touch. Is this normal? Last time, I didn't have many symptoms at all this early, except just starting to get the sore bb's. But, I don't recall all the ups and downs....I think my mind's playing tricks on me....hee hee....
Just fyi, Mia's already moving along to ER tomorrow. I'm rooting her on over the on the general forum, so keep her in your thoughts as well. We have to get our whole group BFPs soon!
I can't wait until the weekend - so much Christmas shopping to get done.
Hello ladies, Sorry I didn't post earlier, I've been a little busy the last few days. I had ER this morning. It went pretty well. I woke up in the middle of retrieval for some reason. I could feel my follicles being plucked like grapes (not really a very pleasant feeling). I heard the RE ask how many and the nurse said 15 eggs, I then fell back to sleep. When I woke up again I was in recovery and thought we got 15 eggs. Turns out we got 18 eggs! It's just a matter of how many will go to blastocyst. I'll find out about feritilization tomorrow. Feeling a bit crampy right now. But otherwise OK.
Lola, that's amazing you actually have 3 beanies! I suppose there is a chance the little one will make it. It would be slim, but still a chance. It sounds like he's a little fighter.
Wannababy, congrats on your 1 beautiful little miracle!
Rittie, congrats on getting to the 2nd tri!
Suzhan, Have fun Christmas shopping. I've started my christmas shopping, everything so far is from Amazon.com. I think that's how I'll finnish it too. I'm not much in the mood for crowds this year.
Hopeful-18 eggs? That's terrific. What was that like waking up in the middle of the retrieval? I probably would have freaked out. Good luck with everthing moving forward and as always, keep us posted!

Wannababy --- congratulations on your one little beanie! Looks like you had your ultrasound even earlier than I did. I was little over 6 weeks and I saw the heartbeats at my first ultrasound. I already had two US and my next one is on Tuesday again at 8 weeks. After that I will be coming in every 2 weeks until the week 12. So that's just 3 more ultrasounds altogether. I wish you all the best and prepare for the tears when you see the little heart beating! I wasn't ready for it at all.
Mia - congrats on the ER, 18 is great! I had 19 when I had mine! That's great! I cannot believe you woke up in the middle of it, that's scary. So now they will freeze the ones that will fertilize, ha? Please keep us posted!
Suzhan --- I am so happy for you, this is so great, we are all going to have our babies together and we can share experiences! I cannot wait until we send each other pictures of them one day! I have not joined any "pregnant after IVF" thread. Have you or Wannababy? I am so used to you girls that I don't want to go anywhere else... maybe later. I have looked there for info, but haven't joined any of them. We are never leaving this thread, right? Unless we are all pregnant...
My nausea is still there, constantly. Mornings are the worst. I am also very tired. I have a Christmas party to go to - tomorrow and on Saturday evening as well. And I have a babyshower to go to on Saturday afternoon as well. I want to go but I don't know how I am going to get through it all. We decided to tell everyone after Christmas. My father in law does not know either. He is coming from Europe next week. We are going to tell him when he comes. I cannot wait for his reaction!
Have a nice Thursday everyone! Lola

Hi Everyone! I have wanted to post on here for such a long time but to be honest, I have had THE WORST nausea since last September, it has really knocked me out! I posted a while ago that I did get a BFP after our first IVF last August and then I sort of dissapeared because it has been so hard for me to do just about anything, and I've been extremely tired as well. But, I've still been reading what's going on and trying to keep up. Please don't forget about me
I was very lucky to have it work on the first time, and since I'm 41, we didn't have much time to wait. We had IVF with ICSI and I had 11 eggs retrieved. Four were fertilized and they put them all back in. I'm at 18 weeks now and we found out it's a baby boy!!! I had the nuchal tube scan done and the CVS, and we live in Los Angeles (in case anyone wants a doctor referral).
I am still feeling nausea at 18 weeks but it's not nearly as bad as it was. It was also really hard to not tell anyone and then have to stay home and be sick for three months. But we all know it's worth it.
Lola, I'm so happy for you with two or maybe three little ones, I remember we were in touch way back last August when we first started. And to everyone else I so hope the best for everyone. There are so many things they can do now a days that we have to keep optimistic!
My best wishes to everyone,
Mazy
