Jeck - I just had to poke in here to congratulate you. Wow!! A baby boy. You must be thrilled. I was crying reading your post. It is so amazing and I am so happy for you and your DH. Please keep us updated through the process. Can you post his picture on Photbucket so we can see him? Can you visit him before you get him?

All my prayers that the next year flies by for you.

Thanks Ladies!!!

We are very excited and I know anything can happen but I think it is meant to be... When the agency called to say that the lawyer said he would hold him for us (which they won't always do) The first thing she said to DH was that "God must want this baby for you, It is just meant to be"!!!

She just doesn't know how many prayers have been going out!!! LOL!!! I am glad you guys are on my side!!!!

I have posted some pictures on photobucket!!!

Just got back from a road trip to deliver a form and get fingerprinted!!! Now I can't run from the law anymore!!!

Sorry I can't do personals I am exhausted been on the road 9hrs today!!! There are so many I want to say something to but just because I haven't posted a personal note to you doesnt' mean I am not thinking of you!!

Take care!!!

Lots of love and prayers!!!

Oh my gosh!!!!!!!!! JECK!! He is sooooo precious. I looked on photobucket. WOW!! How soon will he be home? When do you go to Guatemala? Do you even get to visit him, or just bring him home? What a Christmas present! I am praying that everything keeps going smoothly, but I think you are right- this is God's plan for you right now!! It must feel great to finally feel like you are seeing the big picture as everything falls into place.

Hey!!

Since we accepted a referral before we are completely done with our paper work it could be 6-9 months before he is home :( But we felt led to him even though he will be a little bit older then if we would have finished our paper work then accepted a referral of a new born, I think he will be worth it!!!

The agency wants us to have our paperwork done before we go to visit so we are working on it asap!!! We own a poultry farm and that ties us to the house while we have chickens but we usually have around 2 weeks between flocks. We are getting a flock next week and they will go out the last of January/1st of February(Michael is going to find out the exact dates) and we are hoping to go visit then!!! We have to go and get our passports ASAP so that we will have them in time to go!!! I am so excited!!! We will try to go and visit him as much as we can between flocks and as finances will allow...

Now we have to pick out a name for this cutie!!! Any suggestions??

talk to you soon!!!

Oh my goodness, Jeck. This is so very exciting, I can't believe it! For some reason, I always thought it took months or years to adopt - and you are so lucky to have a baby come to you so quickly. This truly must have been your destiny. I'm just so happy for you both - you're going to be a mommy. In some ways, I'd say you're already a Mommy since you're already playing the role of finding the way to bring your baby home.

Congratulations, you truly deserve this. I hope things go well and continue to be swift! Best of luck!

By the way, you're a genius in suggesting this prayer thread, I really do think we've been heard in many ways. Thanks for doing this for us all.

Just wanted to pop in and say a huge congratulations to Jeck and DH. I have just looked on photobucket and he is the most beautiful little boy his eyes make you melt. I can just see him looking at you with those big brown eyes and getting away with everything. I still have a huge lump in my throat. I hope the next few months rush by for you.

OMG! Jeck I am so happy for you!! Congrats! He is so precious. I can't believe you already have a baby and they are saving him for you. Couldn't they let the baby stay with you as a foster while you wait for the paperwork to finnish?

I got the report on my embies. We have 16 that "fertilized well" (RE's words). They we're all frozen today. I thought they would grow to blast then freeze, but I was wrong. I am very happy with the number of totsicles we have! I'm supposed to call when I start AF to start my next FET. I'm thinking of going for it. Don't really want to wait anymore. :D Pray for me. :)

Hey Mia!! We are excited, we are still getting all our paperwork together and I know something could happen where we don't get him but the way things are happening I really feel that he is meant to be ours!!

We could foster him, but only if we stay in Guatemala!! If it was where me and my hubby could both go and do it I would do it in a heartbeat!!

I am so excited that you have 16 totsicles!!! Now why is it you froze them all and did not to a transfer this time??? Sorry if you have explained this before, I haven't been able to keep up like I wanted to here lately!

Good Luck honey!! I will keep you in my prayers!!

Jeck, I guess fostering would be a bit of a problem since the baby is in Guatamala. I'm sure everything will work out perfectly anyway. I'm doing a special protocol at a "special price" (big discount), That's why we jumped back in so quick. My RE said my 1st fresh cycle probably failed because my linning was a little too advanced for the embies. He said he would freeze rather than do a fresh transfer next time. So I guess it's what we would have done anyway. Plus I like that I felt a lot better with my FET due to less hormones.

Carolyn, Hang in there, you still have plenty of time for HCG to show up. You'll be in my thoughts!
