A lot going on today!!!

Sita welcome to this thread and congrats again on your BFP!!!! Regarding the scan, I have also been told it was only one, but as M'BA said they could miss one on the first if one of the beanies implanted late....good luck on yours!!!

Racheal, I am glad you are feeling better, hopefully this will just be an anecdote soon

M'BA good luck on your scan tomorrow!!!!!!!, how great to hear the heartbeat, I can't wait!!!!!!!!

I am also very late on my shopping, but I have no energy either, I guess I will have to start now otherwise it will be crazy afterwards........

Hope everybody is doing great, moms and beanies....

Sita--welcome to the club! I feel your pain about bloating...I haven't bought maternity clothes yet...I guess I'm a little superstitious about that 12th week. I found some great pants here in the states at NY & Co. that have elastic bands, and they have been stretching with me!

I do have twins...at my first scan (5 weeks), they could see one and a possible sac for a second--but it wasn't a real clear pic. By the 6th week, we could see both sacs....and my two beanies have been there ever since!
It was a nice surprise...

M'BA--I have the same situation at work. Since I did my invitro out of state, I've had to miss a TON of work. My coworkers and my students' parents have been asking "are you okay? are you pregnant?" It's been driving me nutz, cause I wanted to wait til week 12. Well, I decided to go for it today--I took in cookies to work (yes, I actually baked...they helped my nausea feel better, go figure!) and put a little sign with one of my u/s pics with them. Everyone was SOOOOO happy for us, and it was a big relief to let everyone know. I know I still have 2 wks til the hump....but it was very nice to have everyone's support today. [Esp. cause they all knew we'd been trying for a while.] Hope this doesn't come back to haunt me! :?

Hope everyone's doing well! I'm off the workout drill until my placenta checks out back to normal.

Hey ladies, I just wanted to let you know Ophee posted on the BFP awaiting scan on the general board. I was so happy to see her post and to know her and her babies are doing well! :-)

Hi Girls,

Thanks for making me feel welcome. Thanks for all the advise Tasha, Vicky, Collen, Cowgirl, Mba and Kim.

Cowgirl, I am on my 3rd week and my HCG on day 15 was 413. Do you know where I can find the PG calculator ?

I need your help as I am really anxious. I started bleeding today. At first it was very light and now I am having AF cramps and wearing a pad. The blood is reddish and not entirely brownish.

Is this normal ? I am really scared. Please help.

Many thanks,
Sita

Good Morning Ladies,

Sita, I have read that some women do bleed throughout and go on to have healthy babies but I think you should call your Dr. just to be on the safe side. I will say a prayer that everything is ok.

Kim - It must be such a relief not to have to hide it anymore at work. I'm sure people suspect because I am out so much but I am trying to hold out for a while before I tell them. I also have two weeks to go before I am over the hump (well more like two weeks and 3 days). When is your due date? Mine is July 2nd.

Cowgirl - I saw Ophee's post also and was so glad that her two beannies are doing well. I can't imagine how hard having to make that decision was for her and I am so happy that things seem to be going well.

M'BA - Good luck at your scan. Let us know how it goes.

Vicky, Colleen, Tasha - I am equally behind on my Christmas planning. I did get a lot of my shopping done (I did a lot of it online which helped a lot) but I still have to get out my Christmas cards and do some wrapping.

As for me, I am doing well. Looking forward to the weekend. I am getting nervous for my Nuchal scan next week but am trying to keep it in perspective and not obsess about it.

I hope everyone is well.

Have a great day.

Sita- I too have heard of some women bleeding throughout their pregnancy and in the end they have a beautiful baby. However, if your having any thoughts I'd call your doctor right away... please keep us posted. I too will say a prayer for you that everything is alright!

M'BA- good luck at your scan... please keep us posted when you can.

Nance- glad to hear your doing well... try not to be nervous about your scan next week (I'm sure everything will turn out just perfect).

Hope everyone has a great day-

Tasha

Sita- I second what everyone else said. Call the DR. My sister in law did the same thing and they up'ed her progesterone. The PG calculator is on the left hand side under resources.

Nance, I am glad you are doing well! And about Ophee, I would not wish that decision on my worst enemy, and I am glad she is doing well. :-) I am sure in the long run her babies will be much better for it.

Take care all, and have a nice weekend!

MBA hope all is well with your scan. Looking forward to hearing about it.

i have a question is anyone having AF symptons every so often. I keep feeling heavy like it is due to arrive, hopefully i am being paranoid. I dont seem to be having any pregnancy symptons i.e nausea but i am finding i am getting tired easier in the afternoon, this AM i slept until 10am which is very unusual for me.

Hi Ellie,

I had a lot of cramping earlier simliar to AF cramping. I read online that these types of cramps happen to a lot of women. As for no nausea, try not to worry too much a lot of women do not get any. I have had very little and so far so good. I would say if you are the least bit concerned about anything to ask your Dr. to make you feel better. I have asked my Dr. some very silly questions over the last few weeks and at first felt like I was bothering him but then I realized that, that is what they are there for and they probably get these types of questions all the time and do not mind at all.

All my best,
Nance

Sita--I echo everyone else's response...check with the doc. I know that mine checks my hormone levels every week and adjusts my hormones. I've never bled, but there's probably something that can be done. Don't worry though--PMA is important! I"ll be praying for you.

Nanc--I admire your ability to keep the secret. I'm officially 10 weeks today, and my due date is 7/6/07....but with twins, it'll probably happen at least 2 weeks (or more--yikes!) sooner. If I could have waited, I would have....it was just getting to hard to hide.

Elliecat--I get slight cramping every once in a while. I was told it's my uterus growing and the ligaments around it stretching to make room? Does that sound right? Anyway, I think it's pretty normal. Now, if you have any bleeding...then call the doc. I'm sure you're fine. By the way, take it from me...if you can avoid nausea--good for you!

Have a good weekend gals. Take it easy, if that's possible!

Thanks for the advice. I feel much better today and went shopping today. Christmas is not celebrated as much here as it is in UK and so there are no decorations or carols being sung its kind of deppresing really but at least its not stressful. Hope you are all having a good Saturday.
MBA how was the scan?
Sita hope you are ok and all is well.
