Hi Ladies,
I just wanted to let you know that I'm convinced accupunture is the reason I'm pregnant today. My DH and I have been TTC for 1 and 1/2 years and we were due to have IVF in Dec. We both had 5 accupunture treatments each in October and at my next ovulation in November I fell pregnant!!! I'm 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant today and I'm still in shock. It's early days so I'm trying not to get too excited yet and I'm having accuputure twice at week for the next two weeks. I wish every one of you all the very best and I hope your dreams come true.

TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT PLEASE......WHAT DO THEY DO? DOES IT HURT? HOW DID YOU FIND A GOOD ONE? WHAT DID YOU ASK THEM TO DO, OR WHEN YOU WENT THERE DID YOU SAY YOU WERE HAVING INFERTILITY PROBLEMS??? Accupunture

Wisconsingal - To answer your questions. No it dosen't hurt at all. Maybe a little sensation when they put the needles in. They leave the needles in for about 20 minutes and add some heat to enhance the treatment. I am seeing an accupunturist that specifically treats for fertility (& he also treats other health problems). The cost for one treatment is Aus $80.00 (I probably get approx $15.00 back through my private health fund). I have to tell you that I didn't have much knowledge about accupunture and I just thought to myself it's worth a try before going to IVF. I was in total shock when my AF didn't come the following month! It's truly amazing and obviously what me and my DH needed in order to fall pregnant. Apparantly it balances your body and allows energy to flow. As I said before there is NO DOUBT in my mind that accupunture is the reason I'm pregnant today!!!!! My DH and I were trying religiously at EVERY ovlation for 1 /12 years. I was even using ovulation kits so I know that we timed it exactly. Then the moment we have accupunture the next ovulation I'm pregnant. It's such a miracle. Any further questions pls don't hesitate to ask.
