Hi All, Thought I'd do the deed and start the new thread. How are we all doing ? I'm ok back being ++tive today, yesterday was all doom and gloom and negative cos i thought AF was on her way but i think its just the 2WW thats sending me off my head !! Anyway not long for me now im getting very nervous but hey its one step nearer my dream xx Good luck and best wishes to you all xx You've all helped me a great deal during these weeks and i thankyou for being there 4 me xx Spk soon Alisonb xx

Hi All Kathryn - Thinking of you. Can't seem to find the right words. Beckym - Glad to hear Dh is on the mend. Hope baseline scan went well today. Alison B- Glad for your feeling ++tive today. Thanks for starting new thread. Aly - Hope your cystitis is better and your staying +++. Traci – Glad to hear AF arrived Hope scan and bloods went well. Belinda – You must never feel a failure, right now we are on this mission to become parents and is so hard our emotions are all over the place. Lisa P Glad baseline went well, I know what you mean about being so close, I said to Dh this morning as he stuck needle in my bum “can you believe that we are due to do our first ever pregnancy test within a month”. Its our first time too, but I’m staying positive. Gem – Good to hear AF arrived good luck with scans and blood. Please stay positive. My baseline and bloods went well I start Puragon on Monday back at hospital Friday 24.10. The doctor has put me on 150 units a day I’m using the pen is this a High dose? Hi girls well sorry to be negative and I know your all going to say it's too early to say but I think it hasn't worked for me this time. I think the embryo's died Thurs morning I know this may sound silly but I know how I felt when I was pregnant and I know that I'm not this time. I was so positive up until Thursday sore boobs etc but as the day went on all those symptoms dissopeared and this morning I felt nothing. I'm sorry to be so down I know that it's unlikely I will catch considering the poor quality of my embryo's but it doesn't stop the upset when it doesn't work. I know this is a pretty negative e-mail and I'm sorry just feeling a bit down. love to all going for EC soon good luck Alison I know your going to be positve hang on in there and test on your set date! lots of love Aly xx

Hi everyone, sorry I havn't posted lately - I have been popping on to check how you are all getting on - but havn't had time to post. Aly, please try and stay positive - every pregnancy is different and its not over yet. So many people have had no symptoms whatsoever and gone on to be pregnant. Alison, good to hear you are back feeling positive. Kathryn, havn't heard from you for a while - hope you're ok. I am still happily sniffing away (seems like forever) but my baseline is next Thursday so hopefully will be on to the fun part then!! Sending ++++++ vibes to all the 2wwers. Hi everyone aly - I agree with Dolly, every cycle (and pregnancy for that matter) is different so try and stay positive - you still have a week to go to test and the reason you feel nothing now is maybe because the embies have done their embedding so don't give up. grace - best of luck for ec today - let us know how you got on. alison - glad you're feeling more upbeat today, kiddo. As you say, whatever happens they are steps in the process. how are the aussies doin today? vicki - glad your baselien went well. we should be on 2ww wait together as I FINALLY (!!) got the go-ahead to start injecting 225 of Merional tonight (more thane your 150 so stop worrying!!) as scan and bloods were fine. I was shaking like a leaf going into the scan as I was so scared they were going to say there was still a problem and that I hadn't down-regged - celebrated with hot chocolate and carrot cake (naughty, I know!!). I'm back in for a blood test on Monday morning as they are monitoring me closely after last cycle's OHSS problem. traci- how's it going? are you guys synchronised yet? Doly - happy sniffing - thursday will come round quickly. Anyone else on Merional? I was on Gonal-F last time so not sure what to expect this time. Hate mixing 3 amps up as always scared am going to spill it. Is anyone else finding that the drugs are making them really scatty? I keep on having to ask them to repeat things at the clinic!! Lisas - we shall all be stimming together!! Lorraine- when's ec? do you know yet? Best of luck everyone beckym xxxx

Hi All Aly - I agree with the girls each cycle/pregancy is different, please please try and stay positive. We are all here for you. Beeckym - Glad your baseline went well and your on the next stage. Sorry about worrying so much can't help it. I too was nervous having scan, at first doctor could not see my left ovary I stared to panic I felt this hot rush come all over me anyway doc pressed on tummy and there it was. Yes the treatment has turned me into a complete scatter brain I even rang the clinic back today to confirm everything they told me yesterday. I’m that scatty my Dh did a thread on this site about three weeks ago asking anyone if they did silly things whilst on treatment to try and show me it not just me, anyway needless to say your not alone on the scatty front. Sorry can’t help on the Merional. Hows DH? Dolly – Thursday will be here before you know it. Love to all Vicki B XxX +++

Hi all Well done on the new thread Alisonb Hope you are all remaining +++ Kathryn, take it easy we are all thinking of you Aly, you too... Everyone else stimming and sniffing GOOD LUCK!!!!!! As for me, EC is next Weds at 9.00am ET is on Fri pm Counted 7 follies on right (2 at 20mm+), at least 6 on the left (4 20mm+) so they have said this is a good response for an old bird ( I am nearly 39) Getting VERY nervous now, Weds will be a long wait, 2ww even longer! Hi everyone Been to hosp tody and bloods and scan are find don't have to go back til Friday.It feels weird not doing any injections and not going to hosp til nxt Friday but I'm glad its now started. Hope everyone is ok. When are the 2week waits testing?? Have a good weekend Love Gem xxx

Hi everyone Forgot to tell you about dh! He came out of hospital on Thusday and is now at home resting. It's really good to have him back. Started stimming last night on 300 of Merional. Don't mind the injections themselves but hate these new 1 ml syringes that they now give out as they are so fiddly - I'm always scared that am going to spill mixture so am going out to chemist to get some 2 ml syringes - much more sturdy. have got friends coming for dinner tonight so trying to work out how to serve dinner round my 8:15pm injection!! Not good timing. Here's a list of 2wwers test dates and ec/et dates as far as I know: Testing dates for this coming week:- Mrs wales - tomorrow - best of luck! alisonb- Monday 20th - good luck alison!! Kate W and bel - 21st - come on you aussies!! aly and loopylou - Fri 24th - hang on in there! EC/ET dates : grace - when's your et? how did ec go yesterday? Lorraine - EC Wed 22nd/ET 24th Lisa C, Lisa P, vicki and me - first week of stimming, no dates yet frances and beckydav- how's it going? Traci/Dolly- ec around 3rd Nov I believe gayla and gem - any dates yet? Hope haven't forgotten anyone! beckym xxx

Hi Becky, was so glad to read your DH is out of hospital and on the mend. I read on your other post that you remembered my DH's accident, I'm glad you have got yours back while you're still stimming and haven't had to cancel your cycle. Best of luck to all you OCB's Lots of love Kat xx

Hi there everyone Began injecting thursday night - decided to inject in my tummy, dh did it and it wasn't too bad so am plesantly surprised! still sniffing, off for another scan on thursday 24th and we'll see what happens then. To be honest I don't feel 'much different' considering the drugs etc, maybe it'll hit me in all one go. I hope everyone else is keeping up their spirits and feeling positive. Aly - i echo all that everyone else has said, try and remain positive. Mrs Wales good luck for tomorrow and evryone else testing this week, let's try and get the OCBs off to a POSITIVE start. Hope you're all having a good weekend, i'll drop in again the beginning of next week - we'll all be one more week nearer our dream. Love Lisa x

Hey Aly, You've read what the other girls have said, remain positive, every pregnancy is so different from what I can gather: sore boobs, no sore boobs, nausea, no nausea, etc etc..Lots of PMA required here I think!! Becky, Definately went nuts with the whole injecting thing, was completely paranoid that I would somehow stuff up my water / drug ratio and either give myself too much or too little, then I would stress about squeezing the air out of the needle, would I lose half of the contents of the needle thereby compromising the outcome???..Drives a girl to drink (if only!) Haven't heard from Kathryn or Kate in a bit, hope you're both OK. I test Tuesday (is Sunday about midday now, just want to get to Tuesday....) PMA++++++++++++++++ Belinda

Hi Girls, Hope you don't mind me butting in and joining the OCB club. I am due to start sniffing on 20th October. This is my second cycle at ICSI (1st one failed in July of this year) and for some reason am feeling mega confident this time round as I feel a lot more prepared. I only wish I has discovered this site during my last treatment as everyone on here is so supportive and always full of good advice. Good luck to all the OCBs whatever stage you are at. Hi everyone Kat - left you a message on the other thread re your dh!! Jules- welcome. not long now till you start sniffing. know what you mean re feeling more optimistic. the longer you go on the more info they have on you so the higher your chances of success, that's my outlook on it. I'm on my second ICSI attempt as well. alison - crossing fingers for you for tomorrow. best of luck.we'll all be thinking of you bel - not long now - I guess you guys both test tomorrow our time as well as you are 12 hours ahead? I so hope this works for you. let's have 3 positives for tomorrow!! grace - are you ok?- haven't heard from you re your ec. I am sipping water and milk like mad as certainly do not want to get ohss again but going to the toilet constantly. have mnaged to find 5 ml syringes to do my mixing which is so much easier. everyone take care. beckym xxx
