Hey Nicki, thanks for the folly dance, I'll need it. I give myself the hcg shot tonight. RE said this sometimes causes the follies to grow. We'll see. Why I'm not responding? I only have one ovary and my age (37) and fsh (14) isn't helping. My clinic likes to see at least 4 follies in order to proceed with IVF. Every clinic is different though.

Lisa, good luck with your appt. Nicki is right, IUI may work for you. Don't give up yet.

Hey Nicki, RE was able to get 5 eggs. He said he would have been happy with 3 and said that 5 was good. I go tomorrow for the transfer. I don't know yet how many fertilized but they did say that I had fertilization.

Question, if you guys had exactly 3 embies would you transfer all 3?

well, transfer went well, but I only had one embie. The other 4 weren't mature enough to fertilize. The embriologist ended up doing ICSI due to DH's #'s being down and due to me only having one egg. I'm now on the 2ww. I go for a blood test on the 29th. Just trying to take it easy now, not on my feet alot. Nurse said that I would start feeling flu like symptoms in about 5 days if it implants and that is a good sign of pg.

Hope you gals have a Merry Christmas!!!

Nicki, yes, I'm so excited to test. I'm remaining neutral so that I don't get my hopes too high but trying to be positive. Yesterday, I was so emotional, I couldn't stop crying, hormones I guess. I felt really run down also from the holiday so took a nap during the day, that felt great.

How's everyone's Christmas going?
