Hi everyone Fantastic start to the week with the +++++'s Hope everyone else is mangaging to remain in good spirits. I am on the countdown now. OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe how many positives there as been. CONGRATULATIONS Kate and the Wales family,hopfully we will all get what we wish for. I'm alot better feeling alot more positive,just want to get my embryos defrosted and put back in where hopefully they will want to stay. Kate and Wales what did you do over the 2ww,did you go straight back to work? have sex?etc......but at the end of the day if they want to stay around they will. Hope everyone else is ok and feeling positive speak to you all soon Love Gemxx

Hi everyone Hope you don't mind me joining in the OCB's, left a messaage on Jules topic, seeking buddies, seeing the support you guys give one another is fantastic, I could have done with that after my last 2 IVF. 1st Dec 2002 ended in ectopic, 2nd May 2003 had OHSS, but now fingers crossed I have frozen 6 embies and starting my FET this month 1st scan thurs, I am so excited yet hoping I have the strength to cope with the outcome! Great to read all the +++++, wow, hope you can give me some luck too. My thoughts are with you all. Love Ambar

Welcome Ambar You will soon get addicted to this site its helped me alot,we had a failed ivf in July this year but we managed to freeze 6 so we are going through a natural FET had my 1st scan and blood on Fri and because theres no drugs involved I don't have to go back til Fri for another scan&bloods. Are you doing a natural cycle or assisted? Welcome again Love Gemxx

Hi everyone, just wanted to say congratulations to Kate and The Wales's, I hope they are the first of many for the OCBs Well no going back now, started sniffing Buserelin today, baseline scan on 5 Nov. Mel B - I was also considering taking baby aspirin after reading posts from other girls who have taken it however I asked at my clinic today and they have advised me not to take it, they said you should only take it if you have a specific problem with clotting and have suffered miscarriages in the past so I would go with whatever your clinic advise. Hello OCB gals, Well the good news is, we tested this morning, and we're positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truly cannot believe it, am in a state of shock Am now on the next 2ww, the wait for the scan, am very scared of ectopic (no particular reason, am just prone to worry I'm afraid!) Let's keep those positives coming OCB's! Belinda

Bel, CONGRATULATIONS... I am so pleased for you. Please try not to worry about things (I'm a born worrier too and I know it is easier said than done!!!). When is your scan? Lorraine, good luck with your EC tomorrow. Hopefully you will feel much better afterwards. Ambar, welcome to the OCBs! Alison, I was so sorry to read your post. I, like many on the board, remember that pain and know exactly how you feel. Take care of each other. I am on a different down regging drug this time (Naferelin) and I am constantly dizzy and tired and have had some splitting headaches. I am going to ask why they changed it because I didn't really have any side effects at all on Buserelin. Love to everyone. Dolly

Hi All Belinda - congratulations your PREGNANT. You must look after yourself, No heavy lifting or strenuous activities. I’m a worrier too, try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy and keep us posted. Julie - welcome to the OCB’s hope the sniffing is going OK , your baseline scan will come around before you know it. I’m not taking Aspirin, my clinic said the same as yours and since I’m having ICSI due to male factor there should be no need. Ambar – Welcome good luck with your scan on Thursday. You will find the strength and we all here if you need us. Gem – Good luck with scan and bloods on Friday. Lorraine G – Good luck for Wednesday hope the pain is not to bad, get drinking that water. Good timing for egg collection you can have half term to relax. Mel B – Welcome you will soon get the hang of the site then you will be addicted like the rest of us. Good luck for EC. Beckym – I hear what your saying, it would be nice to get pregnant first go I’m staying positive. Hi Girls Well 3 days to go and still no symptoms but trying to be positive, funny thing is I feel more positive now than I did a few days ago! Have been good and had no alcohol and no hot baths although I would love to soak in a big hot tub for a least a hour! Glad to see everyone is doing well Dolly sorry to hear about the side effects hopefully they won't last long. Welcome Amber sorry about the ectopic that must of been hell good luck for the FET, Julie good luck with the down regging I hope it goes smoothly, Mel good luck for the egg collection on the 30th, Gem good luck with the FET, Lorraine hope Wenesday goes well. Becky hope your doing OK what size are the follies now?? Grace how are you doing when do you test??? Vicky how are your scans going? , looking for a leading follicle, then another next thurs, I've been told by the centre I will have to use a home ovulation kit, suspected ovulation looks like thurs 30, and maybe a ET Sat/Mon?? Hi everyone belinda - fantastic news. knew the aussies would do a double on us!!!you have gone through so much in the last cycle - am so happy for you. musy feel fabulous. hang on in there for the 2 week scan and let us know how it goes. I will be on the dreaded 2ww by then. Lorraine, frances - best of luck for ec tomorrow. Let us know how you get on. I had first follicle scan today - am on day 5 of stimming and already had about 8 follicles there!!! Mr T didn't measure them but was happy that they looked fine. Will now be doing bloods every day up until ec + I guess scan every other day, so loads of trekking up to London!! ho, hum. all in a good cause. sipping water like mad as am terrified of getting ohss again but feel a lot safer with mr t. beckym xxx

Hi there fellow OCBs!! Hope everyone is feeling good and well. I'm waiting for my day 8 scan and bloods on thursday, likely to have a scan on saturday (my birthday!!!) and IUI on Monday if all is well. Don't want to look to far ahead incase it doesn't work! I've had 5 injections, only doing 1 1/2 ampules a day because they're only looking for 2/3 follicles and apart from being really tearful I feel fine and so am concerned that it's not working!! Anyway, hope you're all well. Vicky good luck for friday hope it all goes well Lisa C where are you? hope you're feeling okay, when do you go for your next scan? Aly - lots and lots of luck for Friday, keep those positive thoughts, I'll be thinking of you So who is next to test?? Lots of positive thoughts to everyone much love Lisa x x
