Hey Jackie!

I'm doing well. I'm 16 wks and definitely starting to show. I'm in the awkward stage where you don't look pregnant, you just look fat. My clothes don't fit, except stretch pants, but I'm not big enough for maternity clothes.

I feel good, except that I get tired easily. I had to take a nap on the couch to make it to midnight on New Year's Eve.

We have decided on names, Jeremy and Ryan. I had to talk DH out of naming them both Robert after him. He still thinks it's a great idea, but I told him I get to sign the birth certificates!

How are you doing? I hope you are feeling well. Have you decided on a name yet? I think you're job is coming to an end soon. Are you looking for something else or are you going to take a long maternity leave?

Em- I hope you are feeling better. I know you were so sick. How is everything going?

Carolyn- I hope you and DH had a wonderful Xmas and vacation. 2006 was a rough year for both of you. I am praying 2007 will bring you your miracle baby!

Vero- I hope you are doing well. Are you going to try again this spring?

Best wishes everyone!

Hi guys,

Sorry its been so long. I am a little better. I am still vomitting in the mornings, despite the drugs they have me on and I am soooo tired all the time. New Years Eve? I made it till 9pm and thought I did very well!

Belly is BIG! I had a sneaky look the other day at work and B1 is my little active one, while B2 is quieter, almost shy. I wonder if they will be like that when they come out. Still no names picked out for them, I love Jeremy, Ryan and Kennedy! We aren't going to find out the sexes, so we need 4 names!

Carolyn, how are you hun? How was your holiday? I hope you had a relaxing time and are ready for you review appointment all fit and strong.

Vero, how is it all for you? Have you any further plans? Hoping 2007 is your year.

Well we are off to Perth (on the west coast of Oz) for my dear friends wedding next week. We all met when we were young and single living in a nurses quarters in East London. Slowly we are all getting married off and now I am the first of us to turn up preggers! Looking forward to being fussed over!

Lots of hugs, and will check in when I get back.

Hi Ladies

Happy New Year to you all. Hope that you all enjoyed the holidays. Seem a while ago already.

Going away was really very good for me & dh. We were able to really chill out and laugh together which makes a change - whilst ducking lots of the family stuff which might have been too much for us to pretend that all is well.

Vero - Let's hope that this is our year

Jackie - Glad all is going well with your pregnancy and that work have asked you to carry on. Sure that the money will come in handy when you want to spoil Kennedy rotten!!

Laura - must have been fun choosing names and not allowing you dh to call them both Robert. He must be well into it all now

Em - glad that you are feeling better. Have a great time at the wedding

Dania - Hope that all is well with you & your little fighter

Been coming here less to try to think of other things. My new business appears to be going pretty well so will be seeing old boss on Friday to tell him that I'll not be going back to my old job. This has all been exciting so acting to take my mind off things. Think that I will be busier over the next few months but not as crazy/manic as before which feels like a good balance for me. Resume acu on Thursday.

Dh and I talked yesterday. We are both committed to another cycle at the current clinic unless we hear v bad news/feedback on Wednesday. Not sure about Fresh or Frozen. My clinc makes me wait 3 months between tmts so looking at 3rd attempt in Feb/March. We have lots of questions lined up about immune testing, PGD, assisted hatching and also donor eggs. We shall see.

Love to you all.

It is so good to hear from everyone! I've missed y'all.

Carolyn- I'm glad you and DH had a great vacation and are ready to start again. I would definitely ask about PGD, especially since you are a champion egg producer and have so many to choose from.

Em- I'm sorry you are still so sick. Hopefully it will stop soon. Perhaps you are having girls, as they say you have more morning sickness with girls! I've had very little and am having two boys. You'll have to focus on thinking up girl's names.

Jackie- I'm glad you are doing so well. Kennedy is a great name. What good news about your job. That must be a relief.

I am going to have to find a new job after the boys are born. I need to work days after they come, nights just won't work. Also, I need a hospital that has daycare open nurse's hours, 7a to 7p. Ordinary daycare isn't open that long. There are a couple of hospitals in the area that have that. I hate to leave my job, as I really love it, but the kiddos have to come first.

Best wishes for a wonderful 2007!

My twins are here!!!

Hello Girls,
It has been such a long time since I posted but things have been very hectic. I was put on 10 week bedrest due to preterm labor. Made it to 34w6d!!

Daniel Anthony 5lbs 10 oz, 19.5" born 12-26 at 1:03 am
Ella Sophie 5lbs 1 oz, 19" born 12-26 at 1:03 am

Here is our birth story:
I started light bleeding and contractions on 12-24 early morning. I checked in L&D but the xtractions subsided so I was sent home.
On X mas 12-25 my water broke and thecontractions started building very fast. We went ASAP to L&D, the xctions were 1-2 min apart and very strong. I was going to be c/s but had to wait for blood work before getting the epidural in the spine. Very painful 1h. Then the anesthesiologist started with the epidural. After 15-20 shots in the spine he gave up and decided to go with general anesthesia. That was a major surgery and i coould not see the babies when they were born. Waking up was also a very painful experience.
However it was all worth it!
My babies are so precious and cute and adorable!
The boy was a trooper from the begging and did not need nay NICU time. He is just eating and sleeping all day long.
The girl had some trouble breeding in the first hours. X ray showed some fluid in her lungs. She was put on 30% increased oxygen for a day. The 2nd day she was breathing on her own. She was taking IV fluids. Day 3 we started giving her milk+formula and she is eating well. We bumped the food a little and she seemed to eat very well. Day 4 she went off the IV!!!
We got them both home on 12-31-06, just for New year:)
I am overwhelmed ans so happy!

I am so thrilled so many of you are preggers!!!!

Hello lovely lovely ladies....
Where do I begin..

Vesi what amazing news on your little ones and how healthy they are for being early. How are you feeling. I am so glad you checked back in to tell us how you are doing.. Please know we are always thinking of you (all 3 of you)

Em
I am sorry about your belly still bothering you.. Your little ones being so active must be all the belly rolls they are doing that is causing the sickeness. I am sure it will ease up soon. I am so jelous you get to peak at them so often..

Laura
My mom works in a hospital and swears by their day care.. Like you said you it will be hard to leave a job you love but just think you can have lunch with your babies..I hope you are feeling well...

Niki
I am like you and we had names picked out even before we started TTC, LOL.....I guess we are just planners...

Carolyn
Your follow up appointment is today right? I am sure you will get tons of information and hopefully get a plan for your next go around..Its great that you seem to have a lot of options.. This will be your year...

Dania
Thinking of you and and your little one.. Keep us posted...

I noticed that on this Sunday there is a special program (in the states) for multiple babies in the womb its on the national geographic chanel. Em I am not sure if its on there too but it looked amazing.. It shows how multiples play and intereact in the womb...

Love and hugs to all.

Hi Jackie!

Oh yes, I've started buying things! We ordered the nursery furniture before Xmas. Babies-r-us was having a sale, so we went ahead and ordered. It is special order, so it won't be here for a month or two yet. We got two convertible cribs and a dresser. I still need to get a changing table and a bookcase and that room will be done.

I bought the bedding along time ago, when I first found out they are boys. It has trucks, cars and helicopters. It's really cute and it's not too babyish, so I won't have to redo the room for a while.

I also bought a twin pack-n-play. It is a regular pack-n-play but has two bassinets on top. I'll put that in our room in the beginning. I also got a double stroller. It is actually just a frame that you snap two infant carseats into. It is supposed to be much easier than lugging a big stroller around and you don't have to take the babies out of the carseats.

I ordered two carseats but they are on backorder. After the Consumer Reports article came out, the only two carseats that passed their test are sold out everywhere. I am on the waiting list at Amazon and they said to expect them the end of February.

I've also bought a bunch of little things like bottles, waterproof cribs sheets, etc. It sounds like I've gotten so much, but I have a lot left to buy. I am trying to space it out, so we don't have to buy everything at once. I want to spend a few hundred every month rather than thousands at the end.

I had a level two sono on Monday and the doctor said everything couldn't be more perfect. I have the usual pregnancy complaints, insomnia, indigestion, constipation, but other than that, everything is going really well.

Carolyn and Vero, this probably isn't an easy thread for you to visit right now. I can't imagine how I would feel if all of you were pregnant and I was still waiting for my turn. I so wish we had all gotten pregnant at the same time. That would have been perfect. Please know I am praying for you and truly believe that 2007 willl be your year. I will be celebrating with you when you get your BFPs!

Jackie and Em, I hope you are both feeling well and your babies are growing big!
