Hopeful: Lupron was covered under my insurance, but I do have infertility benefits. But, I don't think it's that expensive (not like the ones to stimulate egg production). Maybe it hit your blood vessel because you injected to low. My nurse told me to inject above the crack of your butt in the corner. My hubbie injected too low a few times and I bled. Hope that helps.

Vicky: Hoping you get great news today!!!!

Sorry, no good news...the baby did not grow at all, it is still at 6weeks, when it is supposed to be at 8weeks. The problem is that there is still a flicker of a HB so they cannot even schedule a D & C, they have to wait until that flicker dissapears.....can it get any more frustrating???........

Vicky---I'm sooooo sorry. Life is just so darned unfair sometimes. Man, it makes me want to kick someone! If only there was someone we could blame. Should we just pick someone and take it out on them? I have a couple people I could nominate!!!!

Vicky - I was so very sorry to see your post - I really was praying it would go the other way. Having been through a m/c at 8 week I know how horrible this is (our baby's heart had actually been seen on ultrasound at week 7 but stopped somewhere around week 8/9.) It's even more hard, I'm sure, that you don't yet have closure. Has the doctor given you any hope of the heartbeat rebounding or did they say it's just a waiting game now? I wish there was more I could do or say to help, but I know my doctor tried to really focus on the positives with us at this point. Most importantly, you were able to get pregnant (first try) with IVF. That, in itself, is a blessing and proves you can do it. You're also quite young, so you have that in your favor as well. Finally, as hard as this sounds, if the baby had a chromosomal problem, finding out now is certainly better than later. After our D&C, we had chromosome testing and found out the baby had something called trisomy 14 - an extra #14 chromosome. As hard as it was, the doctors reassured us our next chances were as good as anyone else to have a healthy baby and this kind of chromosomal problem is just bad luck, nothing to do with us. At the time we were going through it, none of the explanation helped us feel better, but in time it did help us get back on track. Please know we're all hear for you. When do you go back for another scan? You're in my prayers, sweetie. Take care of yourself.

Thank you Suzhan so much for your words, it was really nice everything that you said. Right now I am in the waiting game I guess, RE said it would take a miracle (big one) for the baby to go on. He said we could go back by the end of this week and have another US and if the HB finally stopped he could do the D & C then so we could have some closure before XMas.....

Thank you all for your kind words, I really appreciate them....

Vicky- So sorry to read your news. I haven't logged on all week and have just caught up with your news. I don't know what to say other than I am thinking of you and hoping and praying for a big miracle. Take care of yourself.

Noodle- Congrats on your numbers! Hope you can try and relax a little now. yeah right!

Mia- good luck with the shoots. I haven't used lupron, but hope it all goes ok for you.

Well I am 6 weeks today and just had our first scan. All looks ok, consultant and husband said they could both see a heartbeat. I couldn't! Not very clear at all. They didn't meaure it or anything at all, but guess they are happy as I have now been discharged. Just got to see my GP now.

Thinking of you all,
Will try and check in more regularly, but with the madness of Christmas you know what its like!

Hi all: I'm really nervous. I was spotting last night and today, mild cramping, and dizzy. Not sure what to think. On my way to the clinic as I'm pushing for an ultrasound to see what is going on. Cross your fingers all is well :)
