new- first post

Just wanted to introduce myself- i had been looking for a site like this for a long time!

My name's Kandice and my husband is Chris we're in NC. I'm 26 and he's 33. he has a 13 old son from his previous marriage who we have full custody but suddenly the clock is ticking louder for me- i have never had any children. DH had a vasectomy after the first marriage failed.
He's getting a sperm retrieval surgery since we don't want to go through a reversal.

I've already had my blood tests and everything came back fine. i'm supposed to call the doc in feb period to get started (i haven't done any meds yet or anything). very excited! can't wait to read more posts on this board and be more educated/ involved!

thanks- no Wake Forest. Where are you in NC? we're close to Winston- i work 2 miles away from WFUBMC- so easy to go for appts.

I'm new on here as well.
My Dr. also wants to begin meds soon (march). I'm home recovering from a myomectomy because I had 6 fibroids.
I wish you much luck and will read your posts to see how things are progressing for you; it sounds like you're 1 month ahead of me, so I'll be learning from you...I feel like I don't know anything about IVF.
