I joined the "what to expect when your expecting preg club" when I got preg and still read the posts. This one has me so emotional right now. Not to spoil anyones day but I think you should read this. This is her post of the worst ever:

On Nov. 15th, God blessed us with a beautiful angel and on Dec. 10th he called our angel home.
I buried my daughter yesterday, and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my whole life. She was only 3 weeks old.
I'm posting because I want everyone to know of the dangers of sleeping with your baby. I want to try to prevent any one else from going through this awful pain.
I was trying to get some sleep (breastfeeding every 2 hrs is EXHAUSTING!) and my husband was watching our daughter. She was in her swing and began crying. She wanted her daddy, so he picked her up and layed with her on the couch. She fell asleep on his chest. It was about 2:30 am and my husband (whom was also exhausted from working double shifts all week long) feel asleep. Our baby rolled between him and the couch and suffocated. I didn't wake up until 6:30. I called 911 and immediatedly began CPR. The firestation came first and then EMS. In the ambulance, they hooked her up to a machine that breathed for her, but her heart still wasn't beating. It never did. Our baby was gone.
PLEASE, PLEASE don't fall asleep with your baby or let your baby sleep in your bed. My worst nightmare has come true and I want to help you all understand the dangers of sleeping with your infant.
I miss her soooooo much. She was supposed to be baby Jesus (and my husband and I were to be Mary and Joseph) at church that Sunday that she died. But now I know she's with him. (Jesus)
This is the picture of her that the hospital took a day after she was born.
Madiva, thanks for posting that as a good reminder to us. I occassionally let one of my babies sleep with me during that last stretch of sleep in the morning when he doesn't fall back to sleep as easily as my other baby. I know not to make it a habit, for many reasons. But now I know I should avoid it all together. This is very sad for that lady.

Krista I also do the same in the morning for a few hours and I will change that also. It is very heartbreaking. My day has been a bummer after reading that. Just keep picking up Colin and holding him tight.
I worry so much about that, because through the night i'm so tired. I always put them back, but wake up all scared and end up checking all through the bed for them. What an aweful thing to live through.

Denise, I do that also. I find myself confused every time I wake up and not sure if I just fed them, or if they are in their crib, or if they are on my lap. I guess it's from being overly tired, but each time I wake up I have to take a few minutes to get my thoughts together and figure out what time it is, where the babies are, and if it's time to feed them or not.

I could'nt imagine what they went through and are going through. I don't sleep with the boys on the couch, but they sleep in the bed with me...however they are turned differently and sleepon their own pillows because having just one baby is tiring..with 2 its double. We are not going to let them sleep in the nursery as of yet..not until they're out of danger of SIDS. We have a king size bed and DH sleeps at the end far away from the beanies.
I hope you all are trying to rest, and especially before the holidays...with family visiting soon..gotta go feeding time again

I just sent this post to a girlfriend who sleeps w/ her baby in her bed every night. Hopefully this will wake her up and start putting her baby in the crib where it is safe.
