i have my ec tomorrow, but i dont have et until mon, is this normal will they live that long.this may be a stupid question. thanks

Hi Loopylou ET is usually 2-3 after EC, your clinic may have opted for day three beacuse of the amount follies you have. If you are unsure give the clinic a call and ask why, even just to put your mind at rest. Love Vicki B XX

Hi Loopylou First time I had ICSI it was a day 3 transfer - and the only reason for this was the hospital I go to doesn't do transfer at the weekend (EC Friday, ET Monday). On my second treatment, I had a 2 day transfer because it didn't fall over the weekend. Either is fine in terms of the embies surviving Good luck! Tina

Don't worry about the wait, I have had 2, 3 and 5 days transfers, and always had embies for transfer. I am now 17+ weeks pg with one after a 5 days transfer, proof not to worry! Good luck with EC! D x

STOP WORRYING LOU MRS WALES HAD EC ON A FRIDAY,AND HAD ET ON THE MONDAY AT 3PM. THE CLINIC WILL KNOW HOW MANY HAVE FERTILIZED BY 9AM ON SATURDAY. SO CHILL GIRL !!! ALL THE BEST MR WALES....
