Good morning guys! :D

Glad to see that everybody still seems very much alive! One look away and a new page's already appeared!

Beginning my BCP toniiiiiiiight! *happy dance*

Ange: all my thoughts are with you sweetie. It must be SO nerve wraking to know that they've analyzed your blood and know the result, but are waiting to compare with T2 before they tell you anything! I think I'd find a lab technician, sit on his/her knees and wait until I get an answer! And I'm 6 feet tall, so I'm no little package when I sit on one's lap even if I'm slim! It can be very intimidating!

Bec: I'm SO glad you're just gliding through your 2ww with that nice positive attitude! You're an example for all of us sweetie! I was reading the Do's and Don'ts thread yesterday evening and whew! The contradictions and recommendations that are there! I can understand the will to do everything in order to be able to say you did your best anyway even if you get a BFN so you don't feel so guilty... but some go at unhealthy extents to lower their guilt. I'll make sure I remember you during my own 2ww... and I hope you'll still be around when that happens!

Jaby: like babyblue said, you must still be on your cloud! Keep posting us with news, we want to know how you're doing! Your BFP is amazing and gives us a lot of hope! :)

Fee: A warm welcome to you dear! I, too, am very sorry about your BFN... but it's also nice to see that you haven't lost hope! We'll keep hoping with you dear, and we'll be there every step of the way if you need us! I hope it helps with your stress; venting can be good!

Okay, time to do some work... ;) Take care ladies!

Ladies,

Thanks so much for all your wishes and baby dust.

I had my first test this am and as I suspected no news till the second test is complete. I should know by noon on Friday (ET).

I can't tell you how much it means to get all your messages...puts a big smile on my face every time I read them and definitely helps keep me positive.

Fee... Welcome, you will be so happy to be part of this wonderful family. The women are awesome. Sorry about your BFN, but Feb. is around the corner and you could possibly be cycling with several women on this thread.

Sophie....Glad to see all your PMA has returned full force. Good for you! It's contagious so keep it coming.

Tex... do you get results on Friday, or do you also have to wait for a second test?

Aunty... Where in NY do you live?

Have a great day/evening ladies.
hugs,
Ange

Ange--I know it's hard to wait, but I think it's better that way. My first beta was a positive, but the number was so small that it was barely there. So they told me positive even though they doubted it. Then of course the second number didn't double. Having those two days of thinking I was pregnant really made that negative even harder to take! So just hang in there and I'm sure it will be good news!!!!

Wow Meg, that must've been really tough for you! Sorry about that! I'm sure that's why they wait for the second test. She also said the test today can be negative and turn positive on Friday. Reality is, it's only been 8 days since my transfer, hard to believe anything would show. But I am waiting patiently for Friday.

Thanks for you words of encouragement.

hugs,

Well...Believe it or not ladies, I'm back...I know you were lost without me... Just got my plan yesterday and am going to be a January gal afterall...Though, I'm not leaving the February board...Those trouble makers need someone to keep them in line... Kidding my fab Feb sistahs!! And the riveting question, yes I am still a whale penis! Good thing I've been lurking though...Or I would be totally lost!

Anyway, Aunty, I'm right behind you with my baseline on the 5th...It was destiny that we would cycle together...If not October, then January it is! Start stims on the 6th...Looks like EC will be around 19th or 22nd...Please pray for me that there will be an ET this time...New protocol, so hopefully that's what our problem was last time and all will be right in my world...

Crappy news with my insurance company jerking me around, though...What's new, right Christine (TC)...But the overall cost will be a ton less than last time, and if we can get things figured out, there could be some light at the end of the long tunnel of BS, customer service people all giving different answer (notice how you can never get them to give you their last name), and the standard run-around we're all too familiar with.

Now...It's looking into accupuncture...Which means another struggle with the insurance company. Yeah! Sorry all about me, but gotta run...Work is hairy, so no time for personals at the moment...Will catch up later...Later Gators! :) (So good to have a ticker again...)

Congrats Charity on getting a plan. It's nice knowing what's happening instead of being in the waiting game, huh?

Sorry if my last post sounded whiney. I'm really not trying to drum up sympathy! In fact, I'm feeling pretty positive about the whole thing now. Bring on the FET!!!!

Hi ladies! I was wondering what pharmacy you all got your Lupron from. Can you get it from a CVS or Walgreens? I went on the CVS website and you can order it online. My clinic ordered my Lupron through Scrafts, but they are refusing to run an authorization through my Ins. company because they know it won't be covered. :x I said I know that some Ins Co will cover Lupron. They said only if it's used for some kinds of cancer etc. not infertility. Except I'm sure my ins co won't ask what it's for. They have actually covered some of my meds, PIO, progesterone pills, Estradiol, BCP. I don't think they asked what it's for. I don't know why it's so hard for them to just run an authorization to make sure. What's the big deal? I want to try to get my Lupron some place that will run an authorization, no Qs asked. I'm going broke. I just want to save where ever I can. Thanks. :)

Thanks so much everyone for your warm welcome!
I think it will be very helpful to chat to you all. I haven't
told many people about the IVF so it can be a bit
isoloating! Hi to Angi in Oz, good to see some of us here!
I'm in Perth so a couple of hours behind you, but still same(ish)
time zone!

Good luck to Ang on the test!

HopefulinLV...I got my Lupron from Target without any issues. They even had it in stock...By the way, my insurance covers all my scripts, so I don't know what they're talking about...You're right that it doesn't take them more than 5 minutes to run a check...

I am not taking any suppression on this cycle, and have some left over (I think enough for a full cycle depending on your dose)...You're welcome to it if you'd like...Just let me know..I can ship it out in the morning if you need it...
