Male factor(azoospermic) success stories.....

Post by sa_ra »

hi everybody,
i m sara n a new user of this site its really a great relief to know that u r not alone in this long journey.
Its my first cycle of icsi but unfortunately i ll have to wait FET due to risk of hyperstimulation. My DH is azoospermic but his TESE was successful n we hav 15 embies frozen.I m anxiously waiting for my embryo transfer n much worried of all next procedure. Docs told me that they will do natural FET.
I m just wandering if nybody got same problem? wot is success rate of being pregnant with azoospermia....

plz discuss with me i think i ll go crazy in this situation... :(

xxx Sara

Hey Sara,

It is really good that some of your Dh's sperm was found through TESE . SOme of the guys here have azoospermia, and they have to go with donor sperm.

Now you have as many chances to get pregnant as any lady going through IVF!

Good luck

My DH is azoospermic too. And I am for the most part annovulatory (although since we found out my husband i azoospermic, I have started getting periods again, go figure). They believe he has congenital absence of the vas defrens, and he will most likely get his sperm retrieved. Hopefully sperm is there, but so far they think it is. We will do IVF/ICSI which will be scheduled as soon as he sees his new urologist that works with our ferility center Nov 7th. Which seems like lightyears away for me. I wish you the best of luck and I hope it all works out for you. Does your DH also have CAVD?

hi bonita

best of luck with ur cycle.
My husband has no CAVD. Docs could't explain the reason that y he is azoospermic though he produces sperms.
nyways i m 14 weeks pregnant now with twins :) i has FET in july that was natural.
Its really unblievable that i m pregnant , only morning sickness that tells me that i m pregnant.
I just want to tell everybody that dont give hope coz my DH is also non-obs azoospermic but i m going to b mummy :D
best of luck everybody

Sara, congratulations!!!!! I am so excited to see that you are pregnant and 14 weeks along! And it worked on your first try! We basically have about one and a half tries to get it right with what insurance covers! We hope to have twins too. I want to go through this once and thats it. It feels so good to see success stories. Best of luck to you and your DH!

I'm going to bump this up alittle since we had our consult this morning after a failed IVF, Dr. recommended DH take a multi-vitamin. His sperm levels and motility are Fair and he advised him not to smoke but alcohol was okay, only one a day. He also said exercise.

Can someone recommend a good multi-vitamin or supplements that I should especially look for. I'd like to pick something up at a health food store. We tried Fertility Blend a few years back but there were no results for us.

TIA
