Mia that is really bad they wont check for you my ins cover all my meds including Lupron so your right but if not im sure we can all pull together scrape enough for you to do a cycle...

Hi everyone!

I have not caught up with all the posts yet - I've been out of town (middle of nowhere Indiana). It was a nice business trip and distracted me a bit. Thanks for the sweet thoughts. I'm a bit down because my HPT was negative. I should have know better than to do one. Anyway - I'm off to bed. You know how it is when you are away from work for a few days out of town. I am so behind it isn't funny and tired beyond reason.

Isn't Ange testing today? Maybe there is news and I did not read it yet.

Hopefully I'll catch up with all tomorrow. Sure have missed you guys!

Thank you Aunty! You ladies are so sweet! I have had a couple offers and I soooo appreciate that. I just think my pharmacy is being grinchy. Seriously, is it that much trouble to just check with my Ins. Co.? *sigh* I'm going to call my clinic tomorrow and see if they have anything to say.

Hi Ladies,

I must say, you guys really make me smile. My day today has sucked, and I really only came on the board to keep up with you guys and forget about myself. I didn't plan on posting, but after catching up on everyone's progress and Aunty remembering that I start Lupron tomorrow.... I could only SMILE

WHY TODAY SUCKED!
I had a doctors appointment today. I had to have a Colposcopy done because of an abnormal pap in October. Today was suppose to be a consultation with the doctor because I am a new patient. She decided to do the Colposcopy today because she wants to know the results before I get too far into my IFV cycle. So yet another thing that could jump in the way and post pone my IFV cycle. I've tried to stay positive today, but everything about today has sucked! The procedure wasn't very painful but it still was a crapy thing to have to go through. And now I have to wait for results that could possible lead to a cancelation of my IVF cycle.

Now on to better things...

Welcome Fiona.... as I say to all those new to the group. You'll love it here. I'm sorry to hear about your BFN, wishing you ALL the best in the new year.

Ange, sending lots of sticky baby dust your way. I'm on pins and needles waiting on your results. Friday will be here before you know it.

mom20, sorry to hear about the job. I'm sure the right job will come at exactly the right time. Keep your head up and hang in there.

Mia, thanks for the well wishes. Sorry you are having problems with the pharmacy. You would think that it would be easy to just check your coverage. You're clinic may be able to help. When i was pricing my meds my pharmacy wouldn't give me prices until I had my clinic fax over the actual perscriptions.

Shawn--That does sound like a crappy day! I know anytime I have to go see the gyno, it usually turns out to be crappy. Man alive. The bad part about IVF (you know, the one only bad thing-ha!) is that you can't really do any of those things that you like to do to reward yourself for getting through another day. No alcohol. No tobacco (sorry, bitter about giving up the cigs, even though I know I'm way healthier) No diet coke. No sex even, depending where you are in the cycle. So, hopefully you can find something that is still "legal" to do and treat yourself! It sounds like you definitely deserve it.

I just reread my post and realized that I always sound negative. I'm truly not a negative person, but I guess I must be feeling that way lately. Promise from now on that I will be nothing but PMA!

(oops, sorry guess that eyeroll was a little negative. ---starting PMA now!)

Everyone have a wonderful Thursday! Hope you all have lots of fun holiday plans! And I can't wait to read about all the Christmas BFPS!!!!!

as for me - we should be going to the open eve on 16th jan as per telephone conversation. apparently they have to do a load of tests and u/s with my first af in jan and then should be able to start meds with my af in feb....so aunty, we might actually be cycling together properly!! lol

Well, no AF for me yet so I can't start my downregging. Could you all please do a little Christmas AF jig for me? I bet it will come over Christmas but hopefully won't be too painful and I can get this show on the road!

Aunty - Thanks for the congrats on stimming but you're a little premature honey I'm afraid - wish I WAS stimming now! It seems like I've been waiting a lifetime! I will be sure to update my ticker to show when I am due to start stims, if AF ever arrives!!!

Ems - i doing a dance for you so that AF arrives and makes ur christmas!! We never usually get so excited and want her to come so much!

I'm waiting for her to arrive to - last time when i was DR she came after 2 days but i tink that was because i was put on the pill 1st.

When should AF arrive after starting to DR - I feel new to it all again!

I still haven't had time to catch up with this busy thread but i'm off work with an awful cold today so i'll try and have a read!

Aunty - I love ur list, u keep it all together!

Hi Vickie, great to hear from you..!

Our programme's may be different - I have to take Primolut days 1-5 of AF, and start Buserelin (downregging) on day 2 of AF. They say that shortly after starting the Primolut AF will stop, but may restart again a few days later and be very heavy (fabulous

!).

I've been taking the pill for the last 3 months and can't remember how long after taking the last one AF should arrive - its been eons since I took the pill!!! I took the last one on Tues night - any idea when I can expect her to arrive?

Well, I would have thought so, but I am so out of touch having had weird cycles, operations and god knows what else I can't remember, but another lady on here said 3-5 days after taking last pill...

If she arrives today (which I doubt as I have no symptoms) I will start tomorrow.

Ems...My clinic paperwork says your menstral cycle will begin 3-5 days after completing the pills. If I remember correctly, I got mine late on the 3rd day when I had to take with BCP's with my first IVF in October. Not sure if that helps, but hope it gives you some range to go by. Good luck dear...It will be here before you know it...

I have had my first ICSI cycle and am due to test on Christmas day.
Just feel like I need a bit of support as I am very anxious and these past few days waiting have felt like a lifetime.
