I am new to this board but have read some different things that have been helpful, so you don't feel like you are on your own, because the doctors don't tell you everything.
I had my transfer last saturday and then had to go into the doctor's office for HCG shot on Tuesday, well Wednesday I was in pain so they checked me by ultrasound and just said that this was to be expected but I should be fine. Yesterday I could still wear some of my work pants, even though, they were a little snug, but today forget it! I had to miss another days of work. I checked my weight and it is the same, should I worry?
Hi, Sat. was my transfer as well and have been suffering cramping and stomach pain all week. I went into the Dr. on Monday and she said my ovaries are swollen "but that is to be expected". I missed some days at work as well. I think it is normal for some woman. I don't think the doctors tell you how horrible you can feel the week following. As long as you are being monitored by your doctor, just take it easy and stay off you feet. Good luck!
I agree. I had no idea how painful it would be after ER. Did they get a lot of eggs?? I had 18 and was in extreme pain for 3 days..constant cramping, could barely walk, hurt to go to the bathroom. I had u/s too and they said that I had a lot of fluid and the cramping is getting rid of that fluid. It didn't effect me at all and am happy to say that I am pregant!! So, hang in there! These couple of days are brutal, but they will get better. I was and still am very bloated from everything. If you are still worried, demand ultrasound..good luck!
