Just got BFN for 1st FET

Post by mcmillac »

Hi everyone

Will my period came bang on time on Sat so Im out for this month. We will try again end of Jan.

I really was hopeful as I experienced cramping and had bad stitch/sore abdomen the first 7 days and I thought this was the embryo implanting - has anyone else experienced this cramping and it has resulted in a BFN?

I am worried now that I may have implantation problems or something like natural killler cells that is preventing the embryos from implanting(yes, I am going crazy worrying about this!!!).

Also, I am concerned about the day our clinic done the transfer......I have a 28 day cycle and this was natural FET so we believe I ovulated on day 14. They put back 2 day fertilized embryos on day 15 of my cycle - should it not have been day 16 to coincide with the age of the embryos? Does a day really matter?

I know I am looking for answers that no-one can really answer but I was just wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on this

I don't know how to answer your questions but I will say don't give up. My first cycle I had all good eggs and didn't get pregnat I did a second IVF attempt and they were going to cancel all together but I just put my faith in god and went on with the cycle anyway and now I have a beautiful daughter which I named Faith and she'll be four months december 24th so don't give up.

Keep trying :)

yeah dont give up!!

My first IVF failed in October of this year. Before retrying I am having a laproscopy to check to see if everything else is ok. Have you had that? They can check to see if the uterus is ok and the tubes etc... I hope to retry with IVF in Feb or March. IVF is difficult to go through and takes lots of strength to move on after it fails - but we can do it! If you get down in ther dumps we are all here to help.

Thanks everyone for your kind messages. I'm feeling much better now and a little more positive, although I do still have a nagging feeling in my mind that something aint right with me.

We have an app with our clinic on 9th Jan so I will be discussing everything with them and yes Bekkie I think I wil get a lap done just to put my mind at rest.

I hope we all get your BFPS soon! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas

Love Kirstyxxx
