morning ladies

tex - i am so so sorry to hear of your BFN. please know that i am thinking of you and DH. i'm sure you find the strength to make the right decision about the next step. take good care of yourselves over the holidays.

macca - your post brought tears to my eyes. i'm truly sorry about your FIL but its lovely to hear you were there with him. you and your family are in my prayers!

lisag - my clinic has said the same. i take the hpt and then call them with the result. they have said nothing about any tests after that (if -ve or +ve). so sorry, cant really help much. its certainly something i'll put on my list to ask.

shawn - haha, thanks! great to hear that your first shot went fab. keep up the good work!

jem - lovely to hear from you. i'm sorry adoption isnt the way forward but then, hey, you wont need to adopt!

bec - S234T!!! hahahaha. sounds like you did really well when your SIL announced. the shit shield really does work!! and yes, you;re right, you cant always be strong. its impossible. and given how positive you've been thru your 2ww i think you are more than allowed to have a good cry. i have had loads of peppermint too over the last few weeks!! anyway, when do you have your test tomorrow?? OMG, i'm so excited!!

aunty - whats MIA?? i'm not sure whats going on with my dates either. going by their website i think it will go something like this. open even on 16th jan, call from booking nurse in the same week, attend for down reg test (????) on 27 feb, start first inj (stimms) 1 march, recovery week beg (???) 12 march...so i guess i test around the 26 march???? god, thats ages away!!! i think thats about right. all you lovely ladies will be gone by then as you'll all have your BFPs by then and i'll be on the board all on my own!!  whats the time difference at your end??

jackie - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! hope you have a fab day!! Image

bye for now

Hello ladies!

Happy birthday Jackie!!!!!!!1 Here's wishing you a wonderful year. I hope you get everything you want and MORE!!!!!!

Well, I got my voice back! (DH enjoyed the silence!) i am praying that this cold goes away before xmas. Please tell me more about this Peppermint tea, I'll try anything!

Lisa, I am so sorry about your FIL. My grandma died just after xmas when I was little and it was holding my hand. I know how that feels, kind of a sad, scary, peace. Still can't watch the movie "beaches" without reliving the whole thing. My thoughts, heart and prayers are with you and your family.

Well sorry this is so short, we are just about to leave to get my grandma. It's snowing pretty bad up there, so I'm praying we are home by 7pm. Have a great day my darlings.

tc - i simply buy peppermint tea (not the leaves) and add water. i tend to leave the tea bag in as its nice strong and then just top it up with more water so i get 2 cups out of one bag! my DH loves it that i'm so cheap to keep up! have a lovely time with your granma!

aunty - i'm well confused with my cycle. when i spoke to the nurse the other day and asked her whether it would be too late to start with my AF in jan (as the open day is after) she said no, that should be fine, we could have all the tests with my jan af and then start meds with my AF in feb. i looked up their calendar again on their website and i wouldnt start downregging till 21 days after first day of AF anyway, so surely i should be able to start meds with my AF in jan and not feb???? do you know what i mean?? i know its only an extra month if we do have to start with my AF in feb but that seems so long away. and i dont want to phone them again to ask...lol. ah, sorry, to keep on. i just wish i had a definite plan! anyway, enough whinging!! sorry guys!!!!!! :D :D :D

Thanks Ladies!!

Well, Today I have accu (I love it!!) and I have to finish shopping, but other than that DH and I will have some quiet time together.

We will go to a nice dinner or order in and snuggle up.

Aunty, you truly remember everyone. Thanks for the birthday wish!! Not long now. 10 days for you and I right around the corner.

TC, I'm gladyou got your voice back. When I get sick I take vitamin c and zinc. Hope this helps.

Shantala, sorry you are having a hard time. I know its seems like forever. I never understood why you have to wait til day 21 either. I had to do this with my FET. It almost takes as long as a regular cycle.
Good luck to you,

Well off to accu...
Take care,
Jackie OXO

Hey All
So on top of my growing Cheetos addiction, 2 weiner dogs hogging my bed and a really bruised backside from my shot this morning I am having THE MOST VIVID DREAMS! I swear! I have never really been the type of person to remember my dreams but the last few nights have been really awesome. You probably didnt know that my secret identity is Indiana Jones!! LOL
:D
My sweet well meaning DH is getting our house cleaned and ready for his parents to come visit. (Yes they are coming to visit again!)He even did some of my laundry. Ok so he put white, black and red together in the wash but.....At least he is trying. And I love pink clothes!! :D

Sophia: I was the one that said I was happy and sad. Happy for Ange and sad for Tex. Why is that weird???

HAPPY B-DAY JACKIE!!!
Christine: Glad to hear you are starting feel better!
Shantala: I know how you feel about another month wait. This is such a long process anyways and another seems like forever!

Bec: Good Luck tomorrow! I will be checking for your post! BFP BFP!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE
XOXO

Hi Everyone!

I had a BFN today and I feel like I have just been hit by a truck! I have already gone through shock, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Still going through depression!!! haven't stopped crying all day :( I have blammed everyone from myself to DH to God. I told my husband because we started tcc 6 months after I wanted that it's his fault that maybe 6 months earlier I could have gotten pregnant. I don't blame him for our problem, I just feel like I have 6 months extra of ttc even though we weren't ttc. thus 6 months more pain. Then I felt it was all my fault, God doesn't think I would be a good mother. Has anyone felt this way?
I have read through most of your stories and I am very touched. You have such strength, I admire you all !!!

I have a few questions.... I had ICSI/IVF and got the reults today Dec 23rd and have one frozen blastocyst. Do any of you know if it is possible to have a FET during my next cycle (next month) or do I have to wait? Do I have to take medication if I have a FET? I can't ask the clinic they are closed. And is it too soon to have another ICSI/IVF in February (2 months later)?

Thank you!

Mizma

Me 32 DH 32
He had low sperm count and low motility 4 months ago.. then 1 month ago sperm test borderline low motility ..day of ER Dr. said it lsperm looked even better..... with all that I had such high hopes!

mizma - i am so truly sorry!! i can see why your hopes were very high (and i guess mine are for the same reasons) so you must have come down with a crash. i dont really know what to say as its my first ivf too and not sure how long you have to wait. it seems that some clinics you can start right away and others like you to wait so i'm sure its different for each clinic. which i know is a pain as you would like another plan now. whereabouts are you and which clinic are you at? you never know maybe we have another lady here who knows. i am truly sorry and will be thinking of you and dh. hugs.

sok - thanks for understanding. i dont like to moan and whinge on here with something like that as its really trivial but waiting is just horrible. i'm sure i'll feel better once i have some dates. bless your dh for cleaning the house. you' ve trained him well!
