Hi Lady's im back...
it was so much fun its a once a year get together with my hubby's friends that hes known since childhood they are great we do the chinese auction really funny the same gift gets sent back every year its a wooden clock shaped like an eagal very nasty...LOL the big joke is see who ends up with it...(wasnt me)
one of the lady's there is in our boat and has been trying for a baby for years we actually talked about it tonight she told me she got pregnant in the summer but lost the baby at 5 months and she was too broken to even mention it before she looked so relieved that she finaly had a kindred spirit to talk to it was really touching weve promised to talk to each other all through our next cycles the reason i mention this is it made me realise just how blessed i have been to have all of you here with me
so a big thank you...and bring on our new year and our blessings

Just back form a couple of days away, Its so easy to lose the jist of whats going on when you dont have a look everyday!!

hi ladies, you sure have been busy! I don't think i could even try to respond to you all LOL!!!!!

Aunty your party sounds like a blast. it is funny how many people have walked in our shoes and there is a kind of sisterhood when you meet them, it is good when you connect with someone, you don't feel all alone.

PMA- accu will help alot! it is awesome. JAckie just got into it too. I really think it helps with the IVF process. i did it before and after transfer this last time and got BFP so you never know.................

beachbaby and My2LnT welcome aboard this crazy train, these ladies are fabulous, and chatty woah!!!!! GOOD luck with your cycles!

Shantala- i really would be surprised if this is twins. My SIL found out friday that she is having twins!!!!! so the chances of both of us.. now that would be FUNNY!!!!!!!

Hi Ladies,

Stepped away for a few days trying to get my head together. Felt like my PMA came to a grinding halt once the miscarriage actually started to happen. Been super cramped out and just out of sorts emotionally. Starting to feel a little better and believe it or not, I do find comfort in all you wonderful ladies here who I know have unfortunately been through it as well. I had actually considered taking a break, but given my age it's probably not a good idea, so I started my BCP's yesterday. Guess it's safe to say, I'm back on the horse. Aunty I'll keep you posted after my dr. appt. on Tuesday as to when I technically start my down regging.

I wanted to welcome all our new ladies to this thread. You will get the support you need, your questions answered and just lots of good feelings from all the special ladies here. Good luck to all of you!

I guess our Dec./Jan thread, now becomes a Jan/Feb thread? So many of us are now in that timeframe. I'm so excited to follow all of you who closer than further from your BFP!

I haven't had a chance to catch up on all the posts yet, so personals on my next post.

Ladies,

For those of you on the baby aspirin regimen who had ET, did you resume your baby aspirin immediately following your ET? I was told to stop for the ER, but nobody told me to resume after my ET and I'm wondering if that's why I miscarried???? I've been on baby aspirin for 5 months and would like to think, missing a week wouldn't result in m/c, but of course I'm sitting here trying to figure out what the hell happened.

well we are set for a big one DH is singing in a big club out of town he is on with a girl duo called velvet so we will see new year in there then we are off to a party after should be fun got my friends n mam and dad going along.

Ange -just wanted to say how brave you are ange to get straiaght back on and start again takes a lot of courage you are one amazing lady we all are having to go through so much but we still all get straight back on the horse to say. As for people saying they understand who arent going through this i think i might just have to punch them for us all. How can they when they dont have to experience this and go through so much heartache and disapointment and for what wanting to achieve what any woman can to normally sometimes at the drop of a hat without any thought.
Anyway its been a tough year for each and everyone of us we ve all been through it one way or another. I just want to say im so glad to have found this thread i only wish i had it when i did my 1st IVF cycle last dec 05. I admire you all for what you do and have gone through those of us who have acheived a great big BFP and those of us who havent for keeping on trying the BFP s are a insentive to us all that if you keep trying and wish long enough our dreams do really come true one way or another. Some may take longer but that just seems to make us keep trying even more and that is what matters
KEEP TRYING CAUSE ONE DAY IT WILL HAPPEN !

Well, Happy New year everyone.

Im sure I wont be doing much as DH has to work tomorrow and I dont want to be around drinking and cigarettes as I dont want to be tempted.

Sophie---I don't know if anyone else has replied about your spotting while on the bcp, but from what I understand it's totally normal. I myself spotted the whole 21 days that I was on it. That's one of the reasons I decided not to take them this month for my FET cycle--it drove me freakin' crazy Hopefully it won't be that bad for you!!!

lisa: to answer your ? to aunty (although aunty would probably have a much more coherent, eloquent way of putting this...but here goes). Beta is short for "Beta HCG" which is the pregnancy test. It is the chemical that HPTs detect. It is produced by the cells of the implanting embryo. Many clinics follow it on a serial basis through blood work, looking for a good, steady rise after implantation. It should double every 2-3 days. Early in the pregnancy can be a significant indication re: the health of the pregnancy. as for the dp/pt.. if someone writes 14dp5dt, that means 14 days past a 5 day transfer. Hope that helps...and aunty, feel free to correct or expound...

Aunty: isn't it wonderful to find kindred IF spirits? I think it is fantastic. don't know how i would have done it without all of you. I just reconnected w/a roomate from college (roomie for 4 yrs!). She just did a couple failed IUIs and is looking at IVF now. Been great to have a friend that i actually know outside our cozy "virtual" world to discuss IF with. so, now are you still waiting for AF? That crazy beeoootch! Do you still have baseline on the 2nd even if she doesn't show??

So as Dec is becoming Jan, things are really going to be heating up on aunty's list... look at all those Jan cyclers!
