HAPPY NEW YEAR PHOENIXES!!!!!!!!!!

We went to friends for N.Y.E dinner - I did starter, one couple did main and the other did pudding. Very low key but was fab. Overindulged though and was sickly yesterday, feel like getting a cold, but had early night and feel better for it!

Well, had appointment this morning and lining has thinned...3mm!!! They found 3 cysts though, one dermoid (if any one can enlighten me on what a dermoid cyst is I would be grateful !!) Had to wait for the Dr to ring me back but he says it won't affect treatment and I have to go for stimms on Friday at 2!!

Still no internet at home so will do personals tomorrow at lunch

As for me, the 1st step is see the counsellor about egg share!! So thats on the 26th Jan, and have blood tests done!!

So this month, i am de-toxing, bloods and waiting for counselling!!!

IVF Prep, I guess!!!

Julie great new thats you can still go ahead, I had a cyst last cycle and it disapeared by the time I was to start stims. I have never heard of a dermoid cyst! Wow you start stims on Fri.... you'll be fine hun. Just think in approx 2 weeks you'll be going for EC.!

Nicki - I have been reading all your replies on Egg Share, its good that you are getting this support. Hope the counselling helps you..!

Well last day off for me. Start bloods tomorrow for next DI tmt which is likely to be Sunday and Monday or Mon/Tues. Have had serious wine and chocolate overload over the last 2 weeks - even last night I had a late one and boxxy one as my dad and step mum were through and I ws cooking. we went to the pub before dinner for a couple and I ended up staying up with my dad having a bit of a heart to heart til 2 30 am!! Really should have been detoxing last week for this tmt but do you know what - I thought is it really going to make a difference? I'm so fed up of the whole rollercoaster that I thought I might as well enjoy myself one last time as hopefully I'll be preg in 2007 -hey listen to my PMA!!!

JEN - How are you? hope ok and enjoyed New Year and are now relaxing and recharging batteries. How did Broc cope with the excitement of Crimbo? Hope he was kind to you!!!

LIS - Don't be too hard on yaself re the blow out. A bit of what you fancy does you good and all that. I have been healthier and cut out alcohol but that is it.....Sometimes all the things we have to do can add to the stress so you deserve the time out. Hope you and DH enjoyed your Eve. Good luck with next DI honey xx

Nikki- Stage 2 stimms is stimulating ovaries so I have to inject twice a day from Friday. This will send body into overdrive to prouced masses of lovely healthy eggs (hopefully) ready for EC!!!! Hope you are feeling ok kiddo xx

LUC - Hope you are ok. Wot are people like!!! (comment re girl in supermarket). Clueless.....How was your NYE?? Did you stay in in the end? didn't feel like going out myself to be honest. Very flat Christmas with no atmosphere to be honest!! Hows the diet going....? xx

Souris - How was your new Year? Hope you are feeling ok. Fab news re AF!!! Did you get your results back on Monday? Hope it is what you expect x

I had a busy Christmas Home in Glasgow and Ayr...then been busy with visitors since. Tonight we get the house back to ourselves . Broc has been a wonderful little boy he has endeared himself to evertyone with good behaviour. Loving him to bits cause he's such a cuty! i am tired in myself I was due AF on christmas day. It's still not arrived.... I have had mega cramps for the last 10 days but nothing showing???? Feels starnge as before all the ivf i was a 28 day girls now at 39 am i going through the menopause????cause AF is sooooo late???? and i have no eggs left???? Is this it ??? My mum says she didin't stop Af until 56? so what is going on???? can anyone help shed some light on this? I can't be preg as i have no tubes to carry sperm and egg together so i am not preg.

anyway gotta go now catch ya tomorrow. Adam actually has only had 3 days off in the last month so we are fgoing away frid and monday wil add it to the update

Sorry I have been quiet for a while, I was very busy with Dh's kids. They left this morning do I have a bit more time for meself now!

MLG!! how are you hunny?? Cant wait to read your news!!

Nicki, Lucy , Lis how are you doing?? Nicki, I insist, you should not be scared about the whole thing and not about the injections, I am sure you will do great and will be proud of yourself!!

Jen, I hate when Af is late, so I am will do a special AF dance for ya! I no expert but you are too young for menaupose!! I hope the witch arrives soon!

Julie. I am glad your cysts wont get in the way for the treatment! You must be excited for friday!! You will be the first phoenixe to get a BFP!!

Me, got the Ok from my doc to start for next AF!! My prolactin levels were good and now, i have a cycle plan!! Starting downregg on the 17 of Jan, and most probably the stimms around the 25!! And if I get it right, EC/ET should be beginning of Feb!! I am so excited, got loads to do, firstly book my plane to France!! Yeah I am going to see all my family, and I WILL BE PREGNANT IN FEB UNTIL OCTOBER!!!!! Hope I will keep the PMA throughout the treatment!!

Jen, Honey the more you stress about AF the more it'll be delayed! I knwo u say u cant be preg but i read a magazine article about a lady who had twins and she has no tubes!!! So it can happen!!!
Just do a test and then bet ya bottom dollar Af will come!!!

Lisa, sending u hugs!! I know u have lost faith in iui, but u mustn't it can still happen for ya, and dont worry about the odd glass of wine, honestly heaps of people have sex normally and drink, smoke, do drugs etc... they still get preg.
I am detoxing well, as its last last chance and also the £££ is a lot to throw away, for a sake of a bit of wine & chocolate!!

Doing well with the de-tox btw!! Feeling good!!!

Julie, when is your EC?? good luck with stimming!! Let the eggs grow!!!
Are u eating a high protien diet at the mo?? I hear that protien helps with the quality of eggs!!

Hi Girls

MLG - Congratulations on the birth of your darling daughter - Madalena...

Lisa - Just want to say I'm wishing you all the luck in the world and keeping every thing crossed for you for your next DI... Don't be too hard on yourself about indulging in choc and wine, like you say, does it really make any difference?, I don't think it does. Look at all the people out there who get preg while taking much worse things.! You will be preg in 2007, lets all follow in MLG's and Gail's footsteps..!

Julie - I did end up staying in on NYE's, we got a chinese, it’s not the same anymore, I use to love xmas and new year, couldn't wait for it all to be over to be honest.. Ooohhh I'm a misery aren't I.? Diet is going OK, although it’s not much of a diet, more like cutting out all the bad stuff..

Jen - Never say never, someone I know got preg who only had one tube and it was blocked.! How, I ask myself? But she did..... I know the drugs can mess up our AF's so maybe its just late, doubt you're going through menopause huni but understand why you think ya could be, mine are always every 28 days and always lasted approx 4/5 days now they only last 2, 3 if I'm lucky (or not so lucky in this case) I too think, could this be my sign of early menopause, I swear they're getting lighter and lighter.....I'll do an AF Jig for you, thing is though we're all hoping and praying AF doesn't come for you and its a miracle....

Anyway you enjoy your time with Adam, he's a workaholic isn't he.????

As for me, looks like I'll be doing my cycle even earlier now, phoned nurse today and asked if I could do it on Feb's AF (25th) she said it would be OK, so looks like my EC will be mid March, so Nicki looks like we'll be cycling together after all... I can't tell you how excited I am to be doing this again, just hoping my FSH has stayed nice and low, haven't had it checked in a while and will only be having it checked once before cycle so hope its LOW..

Going to bed now, had a bit of a late night last night and I'm knackered....

Hi ya!!

Lucy, my dear!! When is your AF due in Feb?? Mine is 10th Feb, I am a little worried now, i might be later than that, as the egg share appointmnet isn't til end of Jan, that gives me only 2 weeks-ish to get in the counselling and the nurse's consultation....So lets wait 'n' see, but have a feeling now it'll be March/Apr!!
