HAPPY NEW YEAR !! I hope that you are all doing great !! I am back from my short break and feel better now that I am back at work and my mind is busy. My husband and I are still recovering and time will heal I think.
Just have a question about progesterone quantities.
Eventhough I had a FET cycle, I was asked to take one 400mg prog supps about 4 days before my FET (after my final scan). I read that some girls were asked to only start the prog. after the FET and not before. In my fresh cycle last year, I was advised to start the prog after EC.
This time, I was asked to take 400mg twice a day just after the transfer i.e. 800mg a day. Have any of you experienced this ? I am wondering whether this was too much and whether this caused the miscarriage.
I feel that the clinic was not very clear and I am wondering whether I had taken an overdose.
Would appreciate your views.
Thanks,
Sita

I'm sorry to read that things didn't work out but it's good to see that you and your husband are getting through it ok. It's a very hard thing to deal with.
My clinic prescribes progesterone pessaries a few days before transfer on FET cycles, gradually increasing to 2 x 400mg a day just before transfer day.
Maybe have a word with your clinic and explain your concerns, they should be able to put your mind at rest.
I wish you loads of luck for the future.

Thank you so much for your response. It really puts my mind at ease to know that it is not uncommon to have 2 x 400mg pessaries after the FET transfer.
I am trying to learn from this M/C experience and I am holding onto faith. Yes, it is difficult and I think it will take us sometime to recover.
Hope and pray all goes well with you Claire !!
Best wishes,
Sita
