HI ALL

We have been ttc for 4yrs and were getting messed around so much we have gone private for our one and only go.i started to inject buserelin twice a day on 22/9.I was terrified, its really not as bad as i thought it would be.
I went for scan on 16/10 and was ready to start injecting menopur once a day.next scan is 24/10 so hopefully we will confirm the date for e/c then.if all goes to plan e/c 30/10 and e/t on 1/11.
We are so close now .I was so excited to start treatment after years of no help and now, although i want it to be over, i am terrified of
the outcome.
Does it work for anyone fist time, when they haven:t a clue whats wronge with you.
Hope you get started very soon nicky.
We will all have beautifull summer babies to push.
Take care all
Love Mel

Hi Nicky,
I live in the West Derby area of Liverpool and am having my
treatment in The Liverpool Womens Hospital. I'll tell you my
short history - I/m 32 dh is 45, ttc for three and half years. I have mild PCOS and dh has low count / motility due to medication he has to take for rheumatoid arthritis) DH already has two kids from a previous marriage so we are not eligible for NHS treatment. We had
our first attempt at IVF/ICSI treatment in June this year, I felt
the same as you - I had no idea what to expect and decided that I
would prepare myself for the worst at each stage of the treatment,
I figured that way anything else was a bonus. Didn't work though
and I was still devastated when the treatment failed (at implantation#
stage)Anyway I feel a lot more positive this time round and decided
to be more pro active - I have been taking Pro natal supplements,
vitamin C and flaxseed oil capsules, have given up caffeine and am looking into having acupuncture or reflexology.

Good luck with your treatment, I'm sure we'll speak again. Why don't
you come and join the OCB (October Cycle Buddies) thread.

Take Care

Love
Julie
xx

Hi Jules

Thanks for your reply, its nice to find out where everyone is up to, I'm sure your next attempt will be the one+++++++++++++

Please try reflexolgy its the best form of relaxtion ever, i've been having it for about a year, but the woman who does it has retired and i'm gutted, but I feel it has helped me, i might just have another go just before i start.
Is is true you have to alter what you eat and drink and what's this about chocolate i keep hearing about, i dont what i'd do if i cant have that.
My DH has had the clear with his test and there swimming wonderfully, its just me that the problem. My added pressure is i've had a kidney transplant so i have to take alot of medication to keep that going, i've had it 20yrs but i know that pregancy can upset it a bit, so i'm really nervous where thats concerned, but if its meant to be!!!!!!!
You know the supplements you take, have the nurses informed you of them, i'm wondering about taking something, just dont know what.
Keep feeling positive, well speak to you soon
take care love
Nickyxxxx
