I posted the other day but not sure where it disappeared too.

IMSB- Congrats on the twins. That must be very exciting. Take good care of yourself.

Suzhan- do not worry about the heartbeat or where it is measuring at at all. The same thing happened to me. It is weird, they should know the second our babies were conceived but I got three different due dates and depending which one you went by, the heartbeat was either fast, slow, or just right. So not to worry, they will let you know when it is something to worry about.

Wannababy- How fun to tell everyone. I got teary eyed when I read your post as I remember the thrill of telling people who are rooting for you so badly. It sure made me empathetic towards others and I get overjoyed when I hear a new friend/family member is pregnant.

As for me, I am doing better and better each day. I did break a rib from coughing and they gave me vicadin but I am trying not to take it. They swear it is safe but I only take it when I have to sit awhile. My cough is so much better and I can finally sleep at night in a lying down position. My baby is kicking me every day almost all day so I know she is good. :D
I can't wait for you to get to that stage, it is fun and a good reminder that you are pregnant.

My boobs are so out of control I actually cried in the store this week. I am usually a 34 C and I went up to a 36 double E. I just got measured as I out grew my bra and they said I went up to a 38 triple D. I have never heard of that and was just floored. I feel like a porn star in not a good way. I can't image they will get bigger with Milk. Anyhow, baby room got painted and I ordered bedding. It is all real now!!!!! YEAH.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday and looking forward to a safe new years. I will be digging out of our six foot snow mass outside our front door.

Hi all - hope everyone's had a wonderful Christmas holiday and New Year!

lmsb - welcome to the thread!

Sam - thanks for the note, we're actually really happy with the heartbeat - 158 is really good. It was just that we're measuring small by 4 days that had me worried. Tomorrow's scan #2, so hopefully we'll catch up a bit. I can't believe you broke a rib from coughing! That must be super painful, especially when your little one kicks and moves. You're a trooper to hang in there without some pain relief.

Wannababy - that's so cool that you've started telling people. That's such a wonderful experience! At this point, we've only told my parents and DH's Mom....it was super hard to be around other family and not say anything, but we decided we want to get further along this time before saying anything. I'm ready to burst with the news!

Lola - what an exciting scan you had! They were waving at you saying, Hi Mom! I'm so jealous that you're off the progesterone....I've got a couple more weeks on the PIOs. Have you chosen an OB? 1/11 is right around the corner!

We have scan #2 tomorrow morning - and can't wait to see our little one again. I'm (finally) feeling a bit better - either that or am just getting used to the nausea, don't know. But the more I sleep, the better I feel. I've figured out which foods really set me off (pretty much all animal proteins???) so I try to avoid them. Other than being constantly tired, most of the other symptoms come and go now. Finally have tipped a few pounds on the scale. I'm looking forward to really 'showing' - right now it looks like I've just eaten too much for the holidays and gotten chubby.

Well, hope everyone else is well, take care!

Hello everyone,
hope you all had nice Holidays!
Happy New Year to all of you, this one should bring us all some extra load of happiness!

Imsb -- How amazing you did this all without your hubby! I cannot even imagine. Is it safe to fly? I wanted to fly to Europe as well this spring, but I am concerned about the twin pregnancy...

Sam -- you really are a trooper! I am also 34C normally, so my double Ds will grow even more? I have never heard of double Es or triple Ds. I have 9 more weeks to find out the genders and then we will paint the room as well. I cannot wait. What color did you do?

Mia -- how is everything going with your cycle?

Suzhan --- don't worry about the size, mine were behind too and now they are ahead. Anything within a week is fine. So the nausea bothers you as well, ha? I don't really enjoy eating anything, I wish I could. And I cannot eat anything sweet. My husband took some calls at the hospital where I will be delivering, so he will ask the other doctors which OB is the best over there. I need to get one soon!

We kinda started telling people. We had a lot of friends visiting us over the Holiday season and since I was showing already, we could not keep the secret anymore. Everybody was so amazed, especially by the fact we will be having twins. We also went to look at some new cars as we will probably need a minivan for the kids. I just pray every day for the babies to be strong.

Love and happiness to all of you! Lola

Imsb ---- regarding the ticker - you have to put behind it and it will work!

Champa --- it is so great to hear from you! I am happy that reading our posts makes you stronger! We will be here for you as always! Don't worry, everything will work out this year. According to Chineese calendar 2007 is a year of a golden pig and is supposed to be very lucky one. Also all babies born this year will be lucky all their life. I believe it will be the lucky one for you as well!

Champa - great to hear you're looking to try again! You know we'll all be here to root you on and wish you all the best in your next cycle! Sounds like you had some fun, too, in Vegas!

I had scan #2 today - heart beat was 176 and baby was measuring 8 wks, 1 day....still 1 day behind but much better than last week when we were 4 days behind. Of course, the good news had to come with something else to worry about. I had a small area where the placenta seemed to have come away from the uterus wall. I haven't had any bleeding, but I did have some light cramps yesterday which the Dr. said could be related. Dr. and all the nurses said it's nothing to worry about, it's pretty common and mine is much smaller than they usually see??? This still doesn't sit too well with me - it sounds like a bad thing! They said it should start to heal up by next week - so we'll see - scan #3 is on 1/10.

Take care everyone,

Hi Everyone - I am finally back! My computer has been on the outs and I've been on vacation for a couple of weeks over the holidays! Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I know 2007 is going to be amazing for all of us!

I found out that I will start Lupron on the 12th! I am so excited to get this going again!!! They said that they are going to up my meds to hopefully get more eggs this time. As far as testing to see if there are any other problems, don't have to worry about that cuz I have been tested for them all!

So, with that being said I am catching up on everyone and can't wait to keep you all posted!

Hey ladies--Happy New Year!

Champa-It's great to hear from you! Good luck with your nect attempt. This thread is hot! I know that you know this, but we are all here for you!

Lola- do you have a gut feeling about the gender of your babies?

Suzhan-at my last scan my baby's hr was 170 something too. Try not to worry about what the doctors told you. If they say it's common, then try to relax. Will they release you soon? What about PIO?

Sam-I'm normally a comfortable 34C and my boobs haven't changed to much since the pregnancy. At what point did you need to buy new bras. I look forward to the boob thing as long as they are not out of control. Are they sore?

I'm officially released from my facility. I was so glad to learn that I am done with PIO. Booty still sore though.....

Although we didn't plan to announce the pregnancy to my DH's family. We had done so NYE and practically everyone in his family was there. Aside from my immediate family and everyone who was there, we hadnt shared the news with everyone. Has anyone told their boss yet? At what point did you do that?

There are times when I look like I'm more pregnant than others, especially after I eat. I could pass for 3 months easily. When I visiting my cousins during the holidays, my dad said that it looked like I was starting to show. I'm know I'm early, but I do have a pouch which looks exaggerated after I eat. Anyone else?

Hugs to all....

Suzhan-
That has happened to my friends as well. Do not worry as it is common and will correct itself. Most people do not even know it as they do not get as many U/S as we do at the begining. THey had to stay away from sex, exercise, and lifting heavy stuff. They all had theres go back to normal so why don't you try that for a week and see what happens. Try and relax as there is always something to be scared/worried of all through out the pregnancy and it is too great of an experience to be worried

Wannababy- I think IVF'ers are alway showing earlier as our ovaries are swollen and they do not go down but our belly's catch up. That is what my doctor told me which made sense and made me feel better. I am a huge pregnant person (compared to others) yet I have only gained 13 pounds (which is five pounds less than they want due to me being ill). Crazy that I show more than others at my time frame but it is just how those babies sit. My boobs were huge right from the get go. Even the IVF meds made my boobs grow. I guess they are just prone to grow. I can not imagine how big they will get with Milk. They do get sore and I think they are affecting my back. I am hoping they will go down a bit but I am willing to live with it. They do not look so bad now that my stomach caught up.

Champa and golferswife- Welcome back, we have missed you. This is the thread to get pregnant and we will help you along the way. 2007 is a hot year and January is a good place to start that.

All is great here, I am feeling better each day and that has helped my attitude. I think I was getting depressed from being so sick and indoors for about 45 days. I am feeling like my old self again. I look forward to your posts daily!

Love,

Sam

Wannababy - I too feel like I'm already too big - I gained about 3-4 pounds - but many of my pants are really uncomfortable in the waist already. I see a bit of a poochie abdomen - nothing huge - but again, it looks like I've eaten too much. I wonder when the true baby bump sets in? I'm looking forward to that vs. just looking chubby. I'm not really sure what to do about my clothes - I hate to buy a whole new outfit(s) for work that won't fit again in a few weeks but it's just so uncomfortable to wear what I've got now. I'm not released for two more weeks - and the PIO shots continue for these next two weeks - so I've still got awhile ahead of me.

Sam/Lola - Your bra talk's got me scared! I'm naturally a big C, small D....now I'm already most comfortable in a DD....OMG - what do I have ahead of me?????

Sam - so glad you're feeling better. Great news. I'm definitely keeping a low profile and resting until next week's scan to hopefully clear up this placenta issue. Dr. says it should heal on it's own in a week or two. Good to hear you've known others with successful outcomes in this situation.

Emily - many congrat's on getting the green light to proceed with lupron on the 12th! Great news! When's your first scan?

Take care....

Suzhan- I went to gap and old navy and bought some pants that you can make grow with you. I have actually been able to wear them from week 6 until my sixth month and I have grown alot!!! So it did not feel like a waste of money and did not look bad. Only maternity shirts make you look pregnant not the pants. It was well worth it as they were so comfortable and made me feel pregnant in a good way.

Good luck with your scan and take it easy.

The boob thing does kinda suck, I am going to a special store (how sad is that) and get advice. I can pass it on to you guys if you get big as the wire bras are hurting me now due to the size. They do look better once your tummy grows (about month four you will have a pregnant belly)

Suzhan --- I also ordered some clothes from Old Navy and Gap. I am just expecting another package today.Old Navy has a great sale going on now online and the shipping is only 5 bucks. I also have a box full of clothes that my friend gave me and there are some pieces that already fit me. It is so comfortable to wear them! I have gained around 12 pounds or so already. My first trimester ends on Jan 8th. I have my last scan at the clinic on the 11th and then I am released. I don't look that huge, as I am tall, but I still think 12 pounds is too much. I try to walk daily. I am glad your baby is catching up! I am sure your baby's placenta will be fine.

Sam --- how is the snow situation over there? I have seen some horrible pictures on TV. Are you still snowed in? Good to hear that everything is going well.

Wannababy --- I have no idea what the genders might be. I though 2 boys just because a fortune teller told me that when I was 12 years old. She did not say twins, but said I will have 2 boys. But other then that, I have no idea. Do you have a feeling? Looks like we are all 34C, so we can really compare the growth, ha  . I also look pregnant, my friends could tell right away before I even told them. I have a feeling I am going to be huge! When is your first trimester over?

Emily --- good luck with everything! We will be here for you all the way! Keep us posted! You are right 2007 will be a lucky year!

I have been spotting old brown blood for three days, just a little bit, but I have read when it's brown it is quite common. It may also be something that was left from my third baby, I don't know. At my last scan the baby was already gone, but they could still see some little objects there. I have no pain, so I don't think it's anything serious. It happened to me 2 weeks ago as well, I was spotting for 1 day and my scan was fine afterwards. Has anyone experienced the brown spotting?
Anyway, my nausea seems to be easier on me, so I hope it will go away soon.
You all have a nice day today! Love Lola
