3rd Trimester bumps!!

Jessica - I can't believe they induced you twice and it didn't work!! That is the first I have ever heard of that! WOW - your patience must be running out. I can't imagine them trying to induce me and then sending me home because it didn't work. They would have to carry me out of there kicking and screaming - lol!

So it looks like 3 of us will be having our babies on Dec 18! That is so incredible! We have been through this whole thing together from the beginning and now the "grand entrance" is taking place at the same time.

Danielle - I will talk to you Monday morning - only a day and half left!

If it makes you feel any better, Logan is estimated to be approx. 10lbs and his head is measuring about 10.5 centimeters!!! At first I was afraid of a c-section now I am more afraid of trying to push that much baby out!!! SO with my section scheduled for 9AM He should be here between 9-10 am - I will be thinking of you and Lisa as I will probably not be able to do updates until thurs or fri!

Was checked again today, and all's the same still = induction on the 27th.
Guess I'll have a calm Christmas and then have baby for new years!

Hi all! Just like to update that my baby Caleb arrived on 18 Dec (Jessica, same b'day as Logan!, Danielle, did u hv your baby on the 18th too? ) at 1.06pm! Weighing in at 3.8kg (understand this is just over 8 lbs?), and 53cm!

I had a c-section after all, coz at my last visit to the doc's on 16 Dec, Caleb was still in an "unstable lie", so my doc advised that we should not wait any longer as it would be dangerous for me to go into labour. I couldn't even opt for an epidural-type c-section due to the baby's position so it was GA for me... I was a bit distressed/disappointed that I wouldn't be able to see the baby till much later, and was worried abt recovery and breastfeeding... but it's all turned out fine! I'm up and about, and Caleb's feeding well... and he's just the most wonderful, beautiful baby!

So, Merry Christmas to all! For all of you still waiting for your babies to arrive... hang in there, you'll be enjoying your baby soon!

Happy New years Everyone!

Sorry it took me so long to post info about the baby... I haven't had any time to even touch my computer.

I was induced on Dec 18th just like planned. I had progressive labor all day long and was told to start pushing at 10:30 pm.. By 11:30 pm they realised that the baby wasn't going to come down the natural way so they C-sectioned me.

Edward John Carney IV was born Dec 19th at 1:23 am.. He was 9lbs 2 oz and 22 inches long.

We got out of the hospital on December 23rd and have been home adjusting to new baby life since then.. He is so beautiful.. We love him sooo much..

I am feeling fine.. but i do have weepy moments when I look at him and think about how much I love him.. I guess thats normal hormonal crying.

My baby Madalena (Daisy) was born on the 26th, by caesarean after +/-12 hours labour and being diagnosed pelvic incompatibility.
She weighed 3,2kg and 50,5cm long.

We are both fine (I’m more than a little tired , but she more than makes up for it ) and home since the 29th.

Sorry Ladies, but after a relative got her name wrong and due to being very very tired, I wrote that exact wrong name on the post.
My little Daisy is Margarida.
She gave us a few difficult nights, but now we're getting to know her better (and she us) and things are getting easier.

We just love her to bits!
