Becky, I know you don't qualify for NHS treatment, but you should call an NHS fertility hospital as they take porivate patients also and seem to be more lenient with the quality they freeze. I am fee paying at Leeds general and i had 10 to freeze 2 6cell, 8, 4cell all frozen at 2 days past retreival, defrosted 3 in November one did not survive, 1 was only 3 cell not best quality, but good enough to use! 1 was 4x4 which was the best, i got a chemical pregnancy, nearly but not quite is how they put it.
I don't know if this is acheivable in NI but its worth a shot, good luck and i hope it works for you.

hi ladies. i started stimming and boy do i have headaches. my next u/s is sunday, i cant wait to see what im producing....

Jodic dont feel bad we all love you anyway...as for the headaches the good news is they usually go away because your stimming my clinic only allow me to take Tylenol can you get this?... your growing your future baby so have to be careful what you take as bad as they are we want to keep our baby's healthy i really do hope you feel better soon

BeachBaby yeah im from the UK Birmingham (or bloody Brummie as the Cheeky welsh bugger (our becky) calls me) i moved to NY 6 years ago (wow thats gone by so fast) but yeah i still have family there the Dunnin's and Abbott's i used to go see my fav Aunty lots her name was Minni she married a man named Harold Mountain so yeah she became Minni Mountain wonderful woman, Yorkshire is such a beautiful place also a company i worked for in UK took over Regal Lead in Rotherham so i spent some time there closing down the factory

I love the ovarian vacation Aunty that is priceless.

Well this is going to be short as I need to go cook dinner. I am anxiously awaiting the first injection, We are doing it tonight at 9 so I have 4 hours to go! I am kind of nervous but so happy to be starting. I will let you all know if I make it tomorrow!

Also, does anyone know the common side effects of Lupron. I know hot flashes but I was wondering if there are any others. Any info would be great. Thanks, Erin

My update is I'm cramping a bit so think a NATURAL AF is on its way - how exciting! All the drugs I've taken must have kick started me a bit.

AMC big congratulations on getting your babies back home...prayers your way they are making themselves comfy for the next 10 months....really happy for you

Fed its so exciting to start the injections isnt it as for side effects i got a little bit hot not too bad and at the time of the injection it stings a bit only lasts a few seconds and also had little red patches for a short while after injecting that goes away and little blue bruises that are gone before ET you get used to it just give a good rub afterwards ooo all excited for you i really am

Jordan big congratualtions on your BFP i have to say i think your clinic is crazy doing a PT at 6 and 8 DPT but your levels are really good going in the right direction do you have more bloods or will you have a scan next?....big hug

Angie im so pleased your bodys moving along....ooo and i just wanted to say "where ast tha bin since i saw thee"....LOL

OK just did my first lupron injection!!!!!! It was not that bad at all. It took a few attempts to actually let my husband do the deed but once I was calm it did not hurt a bit. It now feels a little warm and there is a bump over the injection spot is that normal? Look at me already panicing! It feels so good to finally be going!!!!!!! Thanks everyone for you kind words!

Sorry no personals now, I am going to go watch TV and probably think I am having side effects to the meds! LOL I am such a worrier!

Well done Erin - good for you. It's not so bad is it? I never in a million years thought I cd inject myself - so squeamish but now in a perverse kind of way I am quite looking forward to it again!

Tomorrow I go in for my u/s to check the lining before my transfer NEXT FRIDAY!!! I can't believe that it is basically already here. It is really nuts. Tiem does fly. I remember after my m/c I thought that January was a million years away and here it is already. Wacky. I really hope that this works out. So many worries....will the embies thaw ok? How many will make it? Is my lining Ok? Will I be able to transfer next Fri? blah blah blah...I know. I just have so much wonder as we all do when going through this stuff. It is so hard. We will just have to wait and see because what will be will be right??? Take care...

I know exactly how you feel. I've literally been counting down the days
in a diary. I'm on pill number 13 of 21 BCP, then start on stims for my
FET. I think I will be a couple of weeks behind you but am already
worrying about lining, thawing, every damn thing. Good luck with the
transfer next Friday, I have a very positive feeling about this month
for all of us.
