NK Cells

Hi Everyone, I havent posted in here for a very long time.
I was wondering if anyone has had to have NK Cells blood test done? If so could you let me know where and how much it cost.

Hi San,

Welcome back to the forum......The only place that researches into NK Cells that I am aware other than clinics in London is CARE at Nottingham. They conduct alot of immune tests their for you but as like all UK clinics your blood MUST be sent to Chicago in the States for NK Testing as far as I am aware. The cost is approx £1000 for such tests I think.

I did have an appointment booked with CARE in May but didnt actually make it there as I was lucky enough to get a BFP the day before I was due to go! I did receive all the literature from them and they could not have been more helpful over the phone.

Hello there,
I have an NK blood test done 3 times now and the first time was around £800 done at the ARGC in London. Subsequent tests came down in price. They took 17 phials of blood and it took around a month to get the results back from Chicago. My understanding is that this is not a practice that is available through the NHS and only the ARGC and possibly CARE are doing work on suppressing immune levels as a way of conceiving.

in the US it is a place in Chicago and your RE should be able to order it and draw the blood for you... It was $ 456.00.. and well worth it... I have NKA and had to do intralipids and am now PG after a FET
