Hi everyone went to clinic this morning everthing looked ok on scan and I phoned up at 1pm and bloods are fine so we do the final injection tonight at 10pm then they will phone us at 10am on Thurs and if our embryos look ok we go in at dinnertime thursday for them putting back in!! they were 3 day embryos when we froze them so thats why we have injection tonite then dont do anything til thursday. I'm not looking forward to the injection as I've got used to not doing them. Ambar hope evrything goes ok on Monday I'l be thinking of you. Lorraine I was really sore after my ec in June I had a week off work,thats one thing I havent missed during this cycle. Becky how are you? is dh ok? Traci how are you? Bel its nice to hear from you,I'm doing a natural fet and I would like to know what you did during the 2 week,did you have time off work? Everyone else I'm sorry for not mentioning you all but lots of PMA TO YOU ALL. Love Gemxx

Hey again, There's lots happening at the moment for the OCB gals!, we're a busy lot. Gem, I didn't take time off from work, just the day of the transfer and the day after, then went back to work the next day. I was quite careful in that time though, no chocolate (as per Nikola advice!!), no caffeine, alochol, sex, I even showered backwards ('case my clinic said if your tummy got too hot the embryo's would be harmed), I cancelled a hair colour (concern re. the chemicals, and laid low in the garden (normally I attack our yard pretty hard on weekends. All the best for your tranfer Gem, the 2ww truly sucks, but lots of PMA will get you through! To Lou and Lisa, all the best for your transfers and pick ups, please keep us all updated, and lots of PMA to all!! Talk soon Belinda

Morning everyone I'm a bit worried could you reasure me please? Ihad my late night injection last night (hcg) I know the injection is suppose to make you ovaulate and I've been to the toilet this morning and theres the discharge I get when I ovaulate but its not clear likes it usually is its a brownish colour sorry for being grafic for a sunday morning is this normal I'm not having the frozen embryos put in til thurs cos they were 3 day old when we froze them.Am I just worrying for nothing because I'm sure the clinic would have scaned me before thurs? Sorry again for being grafic I know I'm worrying about nothing-please say I am. Love Gemxx

Hi Girls, well I had a great day in france yesterday and decided not to phone the clinic and just go ahead and start my Prognova, Mandy will be starting her stimms on wednesday and has her first follicle scan on the 5th , gosh I am so excieted, I am not sure when I scan again I guess it will be sometime next week so lets hope this week goes quick. Gem Try not to worry , Im sorry I cannot help you but If Tracey S comes back she knows everything!!! not much help to you now though is it! Hi Girls Just checking in on you all. Gem - Sorry I can't help you as it is my first cycle, give the clinic a call if you are worried that is what I always do. Belinda - Yes I am using the pen for my Puregon Injections DH is giving me them in the bum, the needle is very fine so no pain at all, i have good padding there. Lisa Ch - Good luck hope you get your date confirmed for ec on Wednesday don't worry about your treatment and feeling different try to stay destressed (easier said than done I know). Traci - Glad to hear you had a good day in France. Loopylou - Good luck for Et take it easy. Lisa p - Any news from the scan hope you had a good time in the Lakes for your birthday. HI here everyone Good news from my scan yesterday. The decrease of my menpour worked and I've got 2 maybe 3 good sized follicles. Had my final hcg injection last night. Started the lovely pessaries this morning and iui takes place 3pm tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so excited. It's half term so i've got the week to take it easy. Will check in again tomorrow with more of a post. Hope you are all well, look forward to the 2ww (not!) anyone else joining me?? til tomorrow, take care Lisa x x

Hi everyone! Am on day 10 of stimming though have been told to coast today as follies are doing nicely - yay, no injection tonight!!! They have upped my water intake to 4 litres of water plus a litre of milk per day so am constantly on the loo which is not so great. ec looking to be Wed or Thursday now. getting quite excited. dh is fine and relaxing at home. he will have his gall bladder removed in early December so is on a totally fat free diet until then - he's down to 13 and a half stone (he's 6ft 2)!! Lisa P - so glad you're back on track. best of luck for your IUI tomorrow!!! ambar - hope you get a leading follie at your scan tomorrow. Lorraine - I second that about the grading - don't think it really matters. Traci - close now!! grace - how's the 2ww? when's your test date? I have lost track. loopy - good luck for et tomorrow. have left a message re ohss on the other thread. just make sure they do bloods before transfer if you are worried. vicki - not long till ec now for you!! Hey gals, Gem, you're definately a stresser like me, discharge changes so frequently, I've just finihsed reading the Billings book, it says that the discharge can be effected by our diet, our level of stress, and other general goings on in our body..HcG is a very specific drug, it will only work on where it is designed to work, and will do a good job. If you are stressed, by all means ring your clinic, we pay them good money to answer our questions and worries, I E-Mail our nurse co-ordinator regularly with questions, saves a phone call, and you often get your answer straight away. Morning girls thanks for you replies I'm such a stresser. I havent had any discharge since so I think I just over reacted,I just want thursday to come and to know that they will defrost ok thats my main worry that they wont defrost but least we have 6 frozen. Becky glad to hear your follices are doing ok and that your dh is feeling better. Lorraine I'm with the others I wouldnt worry too much about the grading we had good grades but back last time and it didnt work,but its not easy not to worry. Ambar hope everything goes ok today? Vicky glad the injection are going ok I used Puregon on my 1st ivf dh injected in my belly it didnt hurt as much as the suprecur injection cos the needle is alot finer. hi everyone,i had et at 11 am all went smoothly,i had 2 embies put back both grade 1. 7 cell and 8 cell,so apparantly this is great.looking forward to the 2 week wait now.thanks for all your support.gem ,good luck for thursday youll be fine.

Good afternoon girls This scan went well, there is a leading follicle, thank goodness. So fingers crossed I should ovulate wed/thur. Testing with the home kits. Then all I need to do is call the clinic and they will plan the ET four days later. Sounds simple, knowing previos cycles I await to see! Anyway, hope you all had a good weekend, look forard to all your updates. x Love Ambar x

Hi there Just to say had our diui treatment this afternoon, so I'm now on my 2ww.They said it was a good sample so fingers crossed now. I'm going to take this week easy and then it's back to work next week

Hi all Loopylou that sounds great. Lisa P I should be ready to join you shortly, went for last scan today and first down for e/c 8.00am Wed morning. Feeling a bit sad having last injections - had all 3 tonight, so the end of the pin cushion, hopefully. Beckym hopefully you will just be a day later. Gem best wishes for Thursday.
