Shantala Bec is right but just going to tag on the end of it....a blast is considered a viable embryo (clinic wise ...all of our little fraggies are our babies to us) and becs right on day 3 there is no real way for them to know what embies will go on to become blasts the big reason a clinic wont do blast transfer is for the most part Lab experience they will tell you all sorts of things but on day 3 our embies have to be transfered to a different medium to be able to progress to blast stage and your clinic will say some embies dont like it truth is most labs arnt very good at this and they loose what would have become great babies in the process so if your clinic (like mine) want to do day 3 let them your womb is the best place for your little ones if your lucky enough to get a clinic that does blast then id say do it
and also (promise i will shut up in a sec) if your embies are given "poor grades " by your clinic ignore it we used to have a guy on here named Ghost he worked at a clinic and would give great advice well he saw a badly fragmented embryo that would have been ignored go on to become a beautiful blast you never know....hope we helped

Hey ladies

i'm back - had red highlights put in, woohoo! love it when ive just had my hair done!

anyways, bec and aunty - thank you very much for explaining. my clinic does 3 day transfers so they dont transfer blasts (is that right?!). ok, so i know more about that now. thank you!! aunty - i know its not long at all now, i'm really excited but also nervous about tuesday. i just hope that they confirm what the nurse said over the phone which is that i can start downregging in 21 days (and dont have to wait till next AF). as AF arrived today i thought about changing my ticker to 21 days to downregging?? but thought i'd better not as i dont want to jinx things. thanks for asking btw.

amc - i know you have a BFP but i guess you're getting it confirmed today. do you get numbers today??

Good Morning Ladies,

Thanks so much for the support. I am so excited to finally be so close!!! Fee it looks like we are cycling together! YIPPEE!! DH is a little worried about helping me with the new injections. HE is concerned about the drug repronex becuase we have to mix it and then inject and he also feels bad that I now have to do three injections a day. I keep telling him it does not hurt and that I want this so much I am willing to do what it takes. HE is so cute though, all of his concern!

So how are you all doing? This is a long weekend for me! NO WORK MONDAY!!! And Sunday I am watching the Patriots football game with some friends over. It will be fun.

Shantala- Two more days!!!!! Almost there!!!

Aunty thanks for the eggie dance! LOVE IT!! Thank you for all that you do for us! You are truly a great support and I am praying everyday that you will get the baby belly that you deserve!

LOL shantala i used to do my hair a redish colour loved it i bet you look great ......i will be on 3 injections a day one 225 Gonal am then 225 gonal pm plus 10 Lupron.i think the norm is 2..its a joy lol actually its the best part your growing your future baby so you dont really mind.... i hope they let you start too

Shantala, Everyone told me before I started the process that is the injections dont hurt. At first I did not believe them. I was like come on now I am using a needle of course it hurts. But when it came time to do it for myself it really did not hurt at all!! It lasts all of 3 seconds and it is over! Trust me, you will be fine!

Aunty, It does kind of scare you when either you and DH get into a arguement or if they are tired before an injection! I have been extra nice to DH so that he would not fully enjoy the process hahaha.

Fed7281--Repernex is a breaze. Yes, it's a pain because it's another shot and you have to mix all those vials but I didn't have any side effects from it---no stinging, or bruising even. I took it for 10 days.

I'm at work today--hate working Saturdays, as it's always very busy and I'm sad knowing DH is at home puttering around. Poor me. We're all hunkering in for a supposed snow storm--we'll see if it actually happens. It is ridiculously cold--it was 2 degrees on my way to work this morning! Burr!!!!

As far as my lil guys I now have 2@8 cells 4@6 cells and 3@4 cells
SO they all doubled and 1 actually caught up with his brothers and sisters so only 3 are lagging behind(must be all my boys.... ya know how boys are)

So I am very excited that 1 more is doing well And starting to get excited about Monday...When I looked at my ticker I thought wow only 2 to go shewwww ha ha

After my hystersonogram, the dr told me I have a polyp in my uterus, but that it didn't pose a "big enough" problem to delay my IVF. I guess I am trying to figure out what is "normal", what to expect, and any other bit of advice you guys care to offer.

Hi Cinny DH is dear hubby. There is a strand that has all the lingo.. Hope this helps and GL with your cycle you have found a great group of people here that are very positive and comforting. This should take you there..
