Morning all Lisa P hopefully I will be joining you on the 2ww on Thursday,I'm having the 1st week off work as went back mon after having et on sat so I want to do things different this time. Lisa ch hope it goes ok on Weds its amazing when you see the embryos on the screen they even gave us a photo of them! Becky hope you have ec thursday and get lots of eggs I found that was the hardest part of ivf I was so scared. Ambar glad things look ok is'nt weird that clinics do things different I had an injection on Sat night to make me ovualte I would have been due to ovulate this week,but I suppose the clinics know what they are doing.I just want thursday to come now and hopfully they wont have to use all 6 to get 2 healthy embryos. Well have to go and get some house work done so I can chill after thursday. Hope eveyone is ok Love Gemxx

Hi everyone, this really is a busy week for everyone. Loopylou, glad to hear your ET went well. Hope your 2ww isn't too stressful. Lisa Ch, good luck for your EC tomorrow. Lisa P, glad to hear your iui went well - take it easy and enjoy your week off work! Traci, I'm wishing my life away as well! I just wish it was next week and I didn't have to do the injections anymore! Hope this week flys by for you.... Ambar, good to hear everything is going well. Becky & Gem, good luck for your EC and FET on Thursday. I am still jabbing away (I swear the injections hurt more this time!!!). I have my scan on Friday and hopefully will be in for EC early next week. When is everyone's test dates? Love to all Dolly

Hi Girls Just back from scan & Bloods bad news I'm afraid, I am on day 9 but they could only see 4 follies which were small. I have to wait for blood results this afternoon to see if they will abandon cycle. My clinic started my on a low doseage of 150units of puregon because of my age then this was increased to 200 untis on day 6. I'm gutted I can'be believe it, I'm just feel so P***** Off. Has this happend to anyone before any advice much appreciated. Best wishes to eveyone. Vicki BXX

hi vicki i had tmt in september, sadly it was not ment yo be. well i went for scan on day 6 and could only see 4 eggs, the clinic put my drugs up and then I went for a scan and we could see 4-6 eggs. I decided to go ahead as you only need one good one. well after ec we had 12 and 5 fertilized so I was so glad that we carried on. i had tmt last year and was on puregon 375 from the start and got 14 eggs. so do not give up yet it still could be fine.I know how you feel but try and take one day at a time.A lot can change in a few days all the best and I hope it works out for you. good luck to all on the 2wk. from july ann

July Ann Thank you for your advice, I just felt so flat when the clinic told me, I know this is my first cycle and I should not wish for a miricle, but I fought so hard for my NHS funding I don't want to loose one of my two NHS goes. Hi girls Well I go off for a few days and it's all going on. Lisa so glad you got your diui cycle good luck on the 2WW!! Vicky I hope your cycle can continue my fingers are crossed for you. Dolly good luck for your scan on Friday. Lisa Ch how did the egg collection go hopefully your not feeling too sore. Gem good luck for Thursday and the dreaded 2WW just try to take it easy. Becky are you still coasting? to all that I've missed good luck and positive thoughts. Aly xx

Hi girls Gem - I am sure everyting will be OK when you go back on Thursday I will have everything crossed for you, promise. Did you manage to get that housework done? I feel like I have been sniffing forever.........just really hope when I have baseline scan on Tuesday everythings OK and I will be able to start injections. Some day's I feel so positive and then others I just feel sick with worry, sorry to sound such a wuss. Ambar - Glad to hear your scan went well and hope your ET goes ahead real soon. Vicki - Sorry to hear about your follies, I do hope that everything is OK when you get results later this afternoon, will cross evrything for you. LisaC - Good luck for EC. hi girls, ec was really painful this time (2nd), but they did get 6 eggs. However, only 2 survived but I'm still thrilled & et went without a hitch. One thing that i did find this time was the clinic really went out of their way to explain the et procedure as it was happening which really took my mind off what was happening compared to last time when no one spoke to me. day 4 of 2 WW ahhhhhh...but a little worried as I didn't get any sensations/crams on day 3/4 when the little guys are due to implant, but i know I'm being a bit mad. As far as i can make out Lorraine & Lisa are the only ones also on 2WW (sorry if I missed anyone) so lots of ++++++ thoughts to you guys especially. XXXX Frances

HI there everyone Had my diui yesterday afternoon and I'm a bit confused. I don't know how I am suppose to feel. am I suppose to feel anything? I've jst read Frances' post and it sounds like I should see what happens on day 3/4 which would be thursday/friday. Frances and Lorriane I hope you're feeling positive. Hi Everyone, Just thought I would pop in to see how everyone is doing> Haven't posted for the last few days, been having dramas of my own. Was in a car crash and have whiplash, have developed a throat infection and am losing my voice (which dh is thrilled about !!) and to cap it all am having the worst af in living memory! Well thats enough moaning, got to try and keep up the old PMA. Still sniffing away (quite difficult to hold your head forward with whiplash) Baseline scan next Wednesday (Hayley not far behind you) Loads of love and luck to all the OCBs whatever stage you are at Julie xxx

Hi guys Was going to post to have a moan about the fact that I'm still coasting and ec seems to be getting further away rather than closer. I thought it was going to be Wed/Thurs but no fixed date now. In fact am worried that they may abandon the cycle cos of risk of ohss though they keep on saying it's ok at the moment. Then I look at other people's problems and mine seem silly. Jules, how horrible for you, hope you are ok after your accident. vicki, am worried that your cycle may have been abandoned, cos no post from you. please read my comments to Mel on the other thread re lack of follicle production and advice. In your case, when did they do the first scan after stimming? I have to say I was suprised that they only started you on 150. How old are you? I am 37 and was started on 300 which I know is the recommended dose for my age. maybe you need to be at a clinic that scans you more frequently. Sounds like you are under 35 cos you got the NHS funding. Please keep in touch. Lisa C - best of luck for ec tomorrow!! Here's hoping for lots of eggs this time. Had a bit of a cry today - my sister-in-law, Sarah, gave birth to the family's first grandchild - a lovely little boy - which is what I would just love to have.Although had geared myself up for it, still hit like a ton of bricks,especially at the moment with all the uncertainty over this cycle. Just feel this all-consuming jealousy and anger that they should have it so easy and we should be going through all this. Then I feel ashamed for feeling like this as I love Sarah like she's my own sister. Just can't help it. Am gearing myself up for the weekend visit. not sure I'll be able to do it if the cycle is abandoned. Good luck everyone!! beckym xxx

Hi Girls I'm hanging in there bloods test came back OK, I expressed to my clinic I really did not want to cancel so they have decided to keep my dose the same due to blood results and I am back on Friday which is Day 12. Becky I am 31, from the results of my day 5 blood test the clinic put me up to 200 units my first scan was on day 9. Your problems are not silly this journey we are all on is very emotional and of course you feel concerned. best wishes hope you get your for EC soon. Lisa C - Good luck for today. Hi All Just wanted to say Lisa if you have iui then your embryo is not due to implant until day 6 or 7, unlike IVF when it's day 3/4 (embryo's grow for 3 days in the plate before transfer) hope that helps. try not to put too much weight on feeling anything as a lot of the girls on this site have had no symptoms and have gone on to be positive. Hope your all dong OK Chin up Becky, FI a girl in the ACB had to coast for ages before her e/c and she ended up pregnant so just try and stay positive. I've started stims again so will be due for IUI sometime next week. look after yourselves big hugs Aly x

hi Girls, Thanks Aly for the advice re 3-4 day sensations on IVF implantation...just a bit mad at the moment looking for signs to tell me all is ok (hope i didn't freeak you out too much Lisa). by the way my test date is 9th Nov. Good luck & lots of ++++ to all, Frances
