fetal movement

Hi everyone,

I am 15 weeks and 5 days pegnant with twins, I was wondering how soon do you feel the babies move? I heard sometimes at 18 weeks and sometimes at 20 weeks, but with twins do you feel anything sooner. Just wondering.
So far my pregnancy has been going well, no sickness or anything else, blessed with that I guess.

I went to my Ob-Gyne last monday and heard the 2 heart beats with the doppler. Scheduled for 20 week U/S for Feb. , unsure if I want to find out the sexes of the babies. Has anyone found out ahead of time?

Theresa, congrats on twins!! Mine are now alittle over 3 months old and they are so fun! Yes, they are extra work, but it's all worth it. It's so unique to have twins!

I felt flutter type feelings around 18 weeks or so. Shortly after 20 weeks (maybe 22ish) I started feeling them move a lot more.

I found out the sex of the babies at 20 weeks. Then it was a lot of fun to buy matching/coordinating boy clothes for them.

Make sure you eat your protein. I read in several places that after 20 weeks it's important to eat protein so that the babies gain weight. Since twins tend to be born early it's important to get their weights up. I gave birth 6.5 weeks early, and luckily they were great weights so they didn't require any medical attention.
