new & nervous

Post by Hollie »

First time posting here. I have been reading some of the messages on this site the last few days and have finally decided to get involved. :)

I just started my 2nd cylcle of IVF. Did my 1st Lupron shot last night. My 1st cycle in Dec. was cancelled 1/2 through due to a cyst. Hopefully this time I get to go through the entire cycle. My feelings are very mixed at this point on what to expect.

So I'm new, and am not too sure where to go for messages. Any advice would be great, you all sound very supportive which is reassuring.

Positive thinking is the only thing that has gotten me this far, so to hear more from others can only help.

Hollie: welcome to the board! Sorry to hear your last cycle was cancelled... that must have been very disappointing. So "back on the horse" again, huh? That is great! You will find lots of support here... these women have been my lifeline for the last few months. I strongly recommend you join one of the cycling groups... either the Dec/Jan or the Feb group, depending on when your ER/ET is. I have found it to be very helpful to have people cycling around the same time to chat with. I am on the Dec/Jan thread, and we would love to have you (bit of a looney bin  ). Feel free to ask questions, that is one of the big benefits on being on the forum. Wishing you a BFP this cycle!
