Selfishly, Sassy, I'm hoping that it's a little Jerry Springerish just so I have a good story to listen to! (Yep, I'm a selfish beotch!)

Yep, the guy pushed me on the gurney all the way from the 9th floor, down the elevator out the front door of the hospital to the street where my husband was waiting in the car. And I don't think I even had to pay extra for it. It was included in my $10,000 check that I wrote. Jealousy can now start.

I'm thinking the socks and shoes are the way to go. Although who knows, maybe you should bring a big pair of fluffy slippers and wear those.

Now i love the fuzzy slipper idea! That would be much more comfy than the surgical booties...

As for the family crisis... there are definite "whiffs" of Jerry Springer here, ladies. Not so much juicy as pitiful though, i am sorry to say. i am expecting that mil and fil caved in last night (again... too many fingers and toes to count how many times anymore) to criminal, felon, drug addict bil. Stay tuned ladies... if they did i will explode in to tiny little pieces! (and you will all have a front-row seat!)

btw, thanks guys... don't know how i got through my first cycle w/o you all!

OMG! I can't believe I'm even about to type this sentence, but as you know my AF was very late. So....I just took an HPT and it was freaking positive!!!!!!!!!!!! What does this mean? I haven't been on drugs or anything since November and it's been 47 days since last AF.

Of course it's Friday night so I can't call the RE until the morning. I'm going to try to go in tomorrow for confirmation. But it seriously was positive right away. I don't know what to think. Do I get my hopes up?

I can't come up w/ a reason that it would be pos unless.... it was pos! I mean, no meds or anything for months??? I would tell you not to get your hopes up... but can't come up with a good reason why you shouldn't. So, i will be waiting with baited breath tomorrow to find out what RE's office says. Thanks, Sassy, I'm going to obviously be a nervous wreck until tomorrow as well. I just realized that I posted this on a thread that is titled "Do you feel like everyone around you is getting pg...." and it made me feel a little guilty. Sorry, if I stepped on any toes. I know this is supposed to be the funny/low key thread but I'm just soooo surprised. Anyway, I'm going to try to put it out of my mind for the night (Yeah, sure that will happen).

meg... erm... didn't we make this a "guilt-free" zone? I think this applies! It is not like this thread has been living up to its name for a long time now! Oh, by the way, i was just thinking... maybe all those teenage girls last night doing the jig (which, by the way, i ACTUALLY had them do the "jig", they just didn't know what for!!! Wish i had video  ) were a little more powerful than i expected! ooooo... i CAN'T WAIT for fee and angie to see this! heeheehee

Meg meg meg! That is amazing - I firmly believe the treatment itself can kick start stuff. I firmly believe I ovulated cycle just gone for the first time since coming of pill 2 yrs ago and can only put it down to the previous FET cycle and all the drugs doing things.

Don't know what your and DH's fertility issues are? but it is quite possible for this to happen.

Keep us posted - waiting with bated breath and GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks, Angie. I'm dying here. I'm going to go right to bed after this post so I can hopefully just crash until morning when I can run to my RE. Our problem has always been DH's sperm--there was some there but the level and motility were so low that the RE recommended we got straight to IVF, so we didn't even try IU. So, I just don't know. I'm feeling fairly positive about this--there, I just jinxed it, didn't I? The best part is that tomorrow, well actually today now, is my mom's birthday so if I'm really am preggers, what a great gift that will be, huh? (It would be her first grandchild!)

Aggggggg---anyway, thanks for the wishes, girls, and thanks for being there. Once again, don't know what I'd do without ya!

With the little spermies - it's all about the percentages and even if there's a high percentage of ones which aren't right, there's often just a few that can do the trick and it sounds like one of them got through!

Yay !- hope you sleep well - I'm guessing you might not! Will be waiting for your next post.xx

Okay guys, it's official. I'm pregnant! AAAGH! I feel like such a cliche--spent thousands of dollars on in vitro, only to get pregnant naturally. I'm positive we wouldn't have gotten the positive without the boost the drugs gave to my body, though, so it was obviously worth it.

So, my hcg level was 1635, progesterone 28 and estrodial 352. She said that they all looked fine, although we're having some trouble figuring out how far along I am. I think it's about 4 weeks, she thinks the numbers indicate more like 5.

We did do an ultra sound this morning, but you really couldn't see much--just a little round blob in my uterus (not the tubes, thank God!!!!) So, I'll go back on Friday for another one and hope that we can see a little more. Still, it was freaking surreal seeing that ultra sound.

The best part is that I don't have to take shots or progesterone suppositories--she said my numbers look okay for now! Holy freaking cow.

I don't know what else to say. I'm still so in shock and scared that this isn't going to last. I'm going to try to stay positive and take things step by step.

I hope it's okay if I stick around and still chat with you guys. You know how much I love reading your awesome rants and I really want to be there as you girls all go through this process. I want to be reading about all of your first ultra sounds very soon!

Congrats and I imagine this is going to be the best birthday present your mother ever received!
