Hi Chickas!

A quick hello to everyone on the thread! Like Nerms and Vicky, I am a "stalker" too from the February thread. I have the same schedule as Nerms with af due 1st of Feb but knowing me, it's probably a few days later. So let's just say it's due first week of Feb. Would like to join you gals here too since my ER/ET will be some time in March. When does IVF really start? Is that when you start bcp's (cd 3)or Lupron(cd 20) or ER/ET? I have to pay my dues up front at the start of the IVF so I'm just trying to figure out the exact date to pay those hard earned $$$$.

Anyway, hope everyone has a good week this week.

Hi Anna, welcome to the March thread!!!, about when does IVF start, I believe they consider starting when you do your baseline scan, so I guess that would be when you start BCP's right???.........

Nicky, thanks for taking care of the list!!!, yes I guess Charity spoiled us in the February thread

I might be a bit too eager posting on this thread - especially as we probably won't begin a FET cycle until the end of March... due to discuss this with our ob. at the end of Feb. Anyhow - all the best to everyone who will soon be starting tmt.

hiya anna, we meet again!! the $$$ you have to pay up front, I would pay now, get it over and done with, then u dont have to worry about it and it wont worry you during your ivf..... Sorry, anna, i thought u were in the uk. Are in US???

welcome anna!!! i think ivf starts when you start downregging but i dont think thats set in stone. we have to pay our money before we start downregging or BCPs (whichever is first)...when we have the meeting with our consultant, which, for us, is next week!!

welcome carbev!!! think its a good idea to come on here early as its nice to chat to people...and it makes the time pass quicker!!

Anna, welcome! Might be cycling about the same time as you - AF due Jan 30 > but who knows, as the previous comid cycles might still affect this one.

I'm also in the US and I understood that "payment when IVF starts" refers to paying the fee on the first "real" IVF visit i.e. usually cd2 sono/bloodwork or starting BCPs. So that's what we are getting ready for.

I have my IVF appointment on 16th Feb, I plan to pay it all then, just to get rid of it, and then i wont have to stress over £££'s no more!!!

Are any of you girls egg sharing like I am??

I have to have blood tests on the 9th for the egg share programme. just to check if my eggs are good enough to donate. I am feeling quite liberated for making this decission to donate!!!!

The list will be completed tomorrow ok, when i have more time to be creative!!!

Nicky, yes we do meet again!!!! I feel like i'm stalking you

but I'm really am not

. I am located in the northeastern part of Ohio, almost Pennsylvania, USA. I am just so glad I found this website. This has been such stress relief for me since stumbling across this site on google. Everybody here is so warm and welcoming and this feels like a family and that is all because of what we're going through. I'm sure ladies (and gents) have developed lifelong friendships through here. I hope we all get good news in the next couple months....BFP to all!

For some reason today was one of those days of real impatience - seems like time's barely crawling on... At least another week before AF, possibly even two. At least I got my pre-treatment blodwork done and no problems there, DH will get his back this week too. So I guess that's something.

Have any of you ever tried acupuncture? I'm thinking of having a go at it, guess I've got nothing to lose (and all our savings will be gone anyway

). I found an acupuncturist nearby who's specialized in women's acupuncture, hormonal issues, IVF etc. Seems like some people really swear by it. Well, I won't have time to do it properly (ideally, the treatment should be started 3 months before the IVF regime) but at least it might help with the overall stress levels. Any experiences?

Anyhow, will have a consultation about that on Wed!
