Hi,

Jen- yay for AF turning up so that you can start round 4... I hope this time you have lots of eggs so that you can freeze some incase you and DH want to have some more children after this child as it is going to be a BFP. All the best for this cycle I have eveything crossed for you? Have you decided on accupuncture and also have you got your elma(sp?) cream yet?

Steph - it was lovely that you popped in. It must be feeling all so surreal toahve something that you wanted so much be finally with you. I am with Jen not to put pressure on the new mum but send some photos please. WE want to see your beautiful little miracle with you.

Littles - How is it with you?? I have been thinking of you hoping that as each day goes it gets a little easier. This rollercoater is so unfair but hang in there my friend we will be triumphant.

Hi and hugs to Lola and Camilla.

As for me I am up to day 7 of meds. Had bloods on Friday and they tell me everything is going well. Have an ultrasound and bloods again tomorrow. I feel as though there is alot happening down there as again this cycle feels so different from the last when I didn't feel a thing. I am hoping I get more than 6 eggs this time as well so that I have a few to freeze for my future childrne. I am still undecided about how many to put back. I have been eating healhtiy and exercising but this week not lost a thing. It is a bit discouraging but it may be because I my ovaries are filing up with nice little eggs. Later lovelies, Walshy

 Hey Walshy

Sound good so far. I'm sure you will get your 6 little eggies but i'm crossing everything for more :D
Don't think i'm going to do acup this time. It hasn't worked in the past, apart from keeping me calmer so i think the answer is some meditation and me time. When i spoke to the medium last month he suggested this--time out for 5-10 mins a day, deep breathing and soft music. Hey, anything is worth a try, right?
Emla is ALWAYS at the ready. The chemist must love me as his profits must go up when he sees me

Getting worried about our Loops now. Tried sending her an email at home but it keeps jumping back to me. Log on babe.

Well work was mad last night. Had a chilled out night but come 22.00 and two yp did not return and my keychild has been missing overnight and is still gone. The other was missing and drinking but did return and another had a strop and tantrum as she couldn't have an overnight with her sister---way too much stress for a lady in ivf waiting mode

Anyway time to chill, its pouring with rain and the wind is so bad i think my lovely house is going to fall over. So pj's are on and i'm going nowhere.

Catch up tomorrow

Love Jen x

Morning!

Oh, Steph, so glad to hear about the safe arrival of baby Faith. Lots of love to you both.

Walshy and Jen - Shall be keeping an eye on you as you start your cycles. So much love and luck to you both.

Little R - Good idea to keep Feb free for hol and begin again in March. Agree you need to enjoy hol and hubby's b.day without any distractions.

Lola is out there and am sure she will log on soon! Hope she's ok but probably just busy?

Love you all girls. Another year and a positive one!

Hi lovely ladies!!!

I’m so sorry I’ve been away so long. First it was New York, then work was really busy. Also, I’ve been deep in denial mode for about a month. Sadly the denial has to end as I’m seeing Mc Fertile tomorrow for the 360 about No3 and plan No4…. More of that later.

Steph!!!! Can’t believe you logged in dude!! So pleased that everything went well with the section and that Miss Faith Caroline is a looker – just like her mum eh….though we are still awaiting photographic evidence of Steph’s good genes….. Post a picture of the two of you!!! That’s an order, soldier!
Jen – so your back on the road soon – 21st? Is that right? Remember when we started this game all those months ago – did you ever expect we’d be at round 4??? In my mind, before we started this, I thought if I wasn’t up the duff by round 3 I’d kick it in. I am so far from giving up though – almost feel like I could do another 10 rounds! (if you’re listening Fertility Goddess that was dramatic licence, give me a break here). So no acu for you this time? I’m debating – think I will as I have fallen in love with her and its sooo relaxing.

Walsher – you are right bang in the middle, right? How’re you feeling? Positive? Eating healthily miss? Given up the beers? Whats the weather like there at the moment?
Littles – I was sorry to read about your negative result darling girl, you seem to be pretty ok though, strong, looking forward – you have come such a long way in the last year, you are now like Teflon!

Camilla – how’re things with you and family? I’m glad you still pop in.

Sorry I’ve been so crap. I’ve been popping in to read now and again. Couldn’t write anything, y’know? Didn’t feel like I had anything to give really.

New York was the peros cojones my friends. I am going to move there and become a broadway star or similar. Don’t worry! When I’m rich and famous I will not forget you! Christmas was coolio too – scored muchos lovely gifts and spent time with in-laws. Since back from NYC work has been going OFF, hardly keeping up.

So, McFert on the morrow – feeling a bit weird about it. Last cycle seems 5 gazillion years ago and totally forgotten. I imagine that I can start again in 2 weeks (day 21 is 30th January) if I want. Do I want ???? I know I really have to get on and do this (getting older….arghhh!) but I’m just sick of it, sick of the inevitable-ness of cycle after cycle after cycle. Sorry to sound negative because really I’m feeling great just not great about this. Hey ho. Will probably just carry on, maybe do a fresh this time? We’ll see what the main guy has to say.

OK then my warrior princesses - take it easy cheesys

Love like a truck

Ola,

How are things going for all the Octobuds today....

It is nice to see Camilla and Lola popping in to say hello to us.

Lola I hope that your appointment with Mcfertility goes well. Speaking of McDreamy Grays is not on over hear at the moment and I am missing it alot. So have you any preference for a fresh/frozen cycle. What about next time taking the embies to blast? Is that an option for you? ALso giving Stpeh a bad time about no photos where are our photos of you my friend. We want some or atleast one. It is nice and warm over here at the moment not to warm or to cold just lovely. We havn't ad a hot summer this year which has been a bit weird but I hate the heat so I didn't mind.I am hoping your crappy feeling goes away soon.

Jen how are you doing how was your day hanging out in P.J's and stuff? I love those days although my Dh says I have them too often as he likes to get out and do stuff where as I prefer my home and watching the TV. I hope you ahve a good response this time. 21st here we come...... Think positive my friend this has to work.

Hi to Littles, Camilla and Steph.

AS for me went for first scan on Monday nothing much to show besides my vag. :) They had a new scanner there so I was the happy guinea pig while they all watched what the scanner was suppose to do but didn't. I was lying there trying thinking that I should have really done a better job in the pedicure department. Go for another one on Thursday and hopefully it will show something atleast. I am aiming for next week pick up so that it is a quick cylce although with PCOS my levels go up then down then up then just stay the same. I am already up to 300.

OK ladies til next time take care, Walshy

   Yipppeee Loops is back----and about bloody time

You sound as mixed up as me. Yes i thought i would only have to do about 2-3 cycles but it was not to be. Take time to yourself and i think its best you do some acup as you sound a bit stressed out. Remember we are made of strong stuff and WILL get there  You know we are here anytime and i'm so glad your back my old mucker.

Walshy - I'm a dab hand in the manicure and pedicure department, you should pop over  hope everything goes well for your appointment, will be with you all the way.

Well we are heading off to England tomorrow as my nephew got engaged and there is a huge party on Friday. Plus my SiL rang last night and my FinL was taken into hospital again last night so its just as well we were heading down. He doesn't seem to be getting any respite from all these infections and don't know how much more the body can take??????

Ok am on yet another sleepover and my keychild is being a little s**t. Got abuse from the minute we went in yesterday to the second we left and had to deal with the social worker who is a complete idiot  Better take my bullet proof vest tonight, think there is going to be drama

Will try and log on to my in laws computer for a chat if i can, if not will be back on Tue. Thinking of you all

Hallooo!

OK, I'm confused. Where are you all in your cycles now? Walsh? Jemla? Lets have our list back!
So whats the news warriors?
Jemla are you back from Ingerlandia? How's your FIL?
Walsh - log on princess and update!
And as for Littles....... donde estas chica?

Well, I saw Capitano fertilo on tuesday. Bizarre. For the first time ever I got upset. What a complete wossssss. We had along chat about last cycle, he was very supportive y'know, telling me all the unassailable truths, this is hard, some people don't make it. He suggested that as I've been through a lot over the last year or so I may benefit from having a break. He suggests I have another frozen cycle then a fresh if that doesn't work. I have 10 embies left. Man alive. Dilemma. Have done some thinking and talking with dh since then and have decided to go for it now rather than wait - the sanity litmus test! So I start down regging (for the fourth time!) a week Tuesday! Will have acu again and this time will try and get some time off work or at least some sort of help because its a really busy time. We'll see what my boss has to say about that..... here we go again fellow life raftees! surely 07 has to be our year???? Yeahhhhhh!!!!!!! Positivo!!!

Right lasses, I'm off for some sofa time
Stay safe ladies

Love, Lola

Hello Ladies,

There does not seem to be any action on this forum lately wher ehas everyone gone Littles, Jen Steph where are you come back.........

Camilla it is nice to see you pop into this thread from time to time to offer support. How is you bub going?

Lola only a few days until you start your next cycle come aboard raft 4 my friend....

As for me I have had 3 ultrasound going for 4th tomorrow but there are no eggs there as yet there are eggs but they are so small. I am a bit disappointed. I am hoping to get them out this week on Friday and then have them put back in on Monday. I have decided to only take them to day 3 as opposed to blast as I this will give us more chances and we won't lose as many eggs. This is our final stim cycle and I want the best chance possible when we first started we said that we would only do 3 full cycles and this is it. I am a bit apprehensive that it won't work and then what will I do? How will I cope as one of those infertile couples I suppose I wil cross that bridge when I come to it. I seriously didn't think it would take me so long to fall pregnant or have a child. Once I get the first one out of the way I will then I am going again just need to get the first one out of the way. Feeling a bit Blah about the whole thing at the moment.....

New List of Cycling
Lola - start cycle of FET 30 Jan
Jen - ?
Littles - FET Mar
Walshy - Scan on 24 January EC soon after.....

Ok ladies log on and let me know how your all going.... Love Walshy

 Honey i'm home

Its so quiet round here, where are you all???????

So the Loops is cycling again so soon, brilliant news. Yep i agree 07 WILL be our year as we have to have our reunion in Oz at Walshy's house with our little bundles

Walshy - Get the beers in honey  You sound a bit mixed up, its only natural, i feel the same but DONT think of the "what if it never works". Its to upsetting and not worth the pain, hang in there and PMA all the WAY.

Littles - What you up to babe? How you feeling about you cycle? Are you managing to work through your last one?

Steph and Camilla - In baby heaven, lucky girls. Hope your both ok?

Well just got back from England an hour ago (see how important you girls are). We had a brilliant time at the party on Friday. Drank far too much and forgot how old we were, especially when we were doing shots with the 22 yrs olds  wasn't a pretty sight the next day, much to their amusement.
My FIL was disappointed he could not go to the party and my MIL moaned continually as we never took him but just aswell we didn't as the Doc was called out the next day and told us he has another kidney infection  Seems to be one thing after another. At least he wasn't taken into the hosp again.
We then went to our friends house just outside Newcastle and had a blast there. He was our bestman and she worked with me in Milan, i was matchmaker. They have two kids (9 and 6yrs) who are brilliant and so well behaved. Makes me sad to see my dh with them though as he is so good and i always feel i am stopping him have his own little people

Anyway on Sunday i started my ovulation kit and am just waiting patiently for the two blue lines to appear (will make a change as i usually only see one blue line  ). Once this happens then its on to the hrt and the side affects----yuck.

New List of Cycling
LOLA - Start cycle, FET 30 Jan
JEN - Started ovul kit---waiting for blue lines
LITTLES - FET Mar
WALSHY - Scan on 24 January

Am back at work tomorrow and my healthy eating  will log on soon

Hi Ladies,

Welcome back Jen. I hope the two lines appear soon so that you can start your next cycle.

Went back to the Dr today for my 4th scan and again nothing. only 2 little eggs. So I have to go back on Friday for another scan. They don;t want to up the dose as they are scared I will overstimulate so they keep telling me slow and steady wins the race. I am wondering if the longer it takes the less quality of eggs.

Hi to everyone hope your all doing ok in your respective parts of the world.

OK going to cook some dinner.... log on and let me know how your all doing.... Walshy

Hello Nutter bananas!!

am out on my first trip without babes and decided i must use the time to do the important things... like check in on my favorite girls from the hood!

everyone so busy, busy, busy and cycle a go-gos. am now back to cross- legged fighting shape and am in full lotus cheering on my lovelies! that's right sistas... the return of the spanky pants.. although not looking very peachy (as Loolers would say). I am so excited for you all to cycle and get big fat Bif's of the positive variety. Go tuberoonies!

Well Lola- it is officially official. am losing one of best gal pals to your side of the ocean... London here she comes. they have rented a house and her hubby starts his job on Feb 1. She has already been warned that she will need to learn to drive stick (us americans luv our automatics) and will no longer have the yummy peanut butter and no ziploc bags.. oh the harshness! I tried to use these facts to my advantage to persuade her to stay.. but nadda. I guess that means I will be taking a trip to London in the next three years!

everything with me is good. .. very very good. no complaints. babes is lovely, I am lovely...

Dont forget girls... I am watching and cheering!

Luvs to the Bugs.

Hi buds

Straight in for the kill

Walshy - Go with the Docs, slowly and steady sounds good, relax, eat well and the little eggs will grow. Don't worry about the quality of eggs just now. My new moto is "Don't think of the worst and make yourself stressed until it happens". We have enough to stress out about so try and chill--i know its easier said than done, but you know i'm right  Everything is crossed for you and good luck for Friday.

Steph - Glad to hear everything is fab for you. Was it difficult to get out of those jogging bots and hit the outside world again?

Loops - How you doing? Is your cycle the same this time, drugs etc? How you feeling so far? We need you to log on more buny, we miss your mad banter

Littles - Where are you girls? Are you in Switzerand, better not be, i will be very jealous as i love it there at this time of year. Let us know how your doing?

Well only got 3 pee sticks left and still no double blue line. Can't even get that on an ovulation kit never mind a pregnancy kit  Oh well the wait goes on. Started on my running again today and nearly had a heart attack. I only stopped over new year when i was ill and i feel so unhealthy again. Have made a deal with dh we are going to be thinner for my nephew's wedding, so am determined to stick to it this time.

Away to meet my old keychild then sort out my new one at work later as he was brought back by the police yesterday and charged with B of P
Oh i forgot to tell you---before i went to England there was a kick-off in the unit and one girl was punched in the face, the boy then tried to punch me and missed so spat in my face---yyyuucckkk. He has been charged with 2 x assault and this is the first time i will see him today, should be interesting---but i'm tough and will sort him out

Catch you soon

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick one to update you on my scan today.....

So the scan revealed 2 large (over 30) follicles that have now turned into cysts and no other follicles over 5. All other scans have shown nothing because my left ovary is always hiding. They are going to keep me going on the drugs to Monday and if nothing else has grown then the cycle will be cancelled. There are 2 ways the cysts can go either burst (apparently causing lots of pain) or just desloving and then decreasing. All the drugs that they have pumped into me have been absorbed through these large cysts. The Dr said that it is a common thing with someone with PCOS trust me to be common...

I hope you ladies are having a better time at the moemnt than me..... Time to go watch the fireworks on Oz day.

Take care, Walshy

Hi girls

Walshy - You hang in there babe. I'm doing double the amount of finger crossing for you. I hope you scan on Monday brings better news for you and dh. Have you ever had this problem before with the your eggs?
This is the stage i am at to. If i don't produce more eggs this time then i won't be able to cycle again.
BUT WE'RE NOT THINKING ABOUT THAT RIGHT

So i finally got my two blue lines this morning. I felt a little upset as i was standing staring at it wishing it was a preg test  Anyway i called the Doc and we start the hrt drugs on the 2nd Feb. I'm full of mixed emotions as i just want everything to work out well this time, i'm fed up of the stress and disappointment but PMA all the WAY

Ok off for another sleepover at work

Love to you all
